MLM Closing Tips.

Do you struggle with your “closing” as many people call it for their network marketing business?

Do you have a “pat” way that you close your prospect or do you try different things in your home based business?

What would be your closing ratio for your network marketing business when you ask for the order?

Many distributors struggle and do not need to.

First off, I do not call what most call “Closing the Prospect” Closing.

I really shy away from it, as it has a tendency to cast a negative message unknowingly to yourself. When you use the word “Close” it has a tendency to be a win or lose proposition.

You win.

Or…

You lose.

Nothing much inbetween. You either CLOSE them or you do not.

I prefer something more…well…GENTLE and something that will not be seen as a “transaction for MY gain” as often it comes across like that. I have seen “closers” that ALL they focus on is what THEY can get out of the prospect, not what the prospect can get to improve their life.

In network marketing, I have found throughout the world in my travels, EVERYONE feels the same way about this- they DO NOT want to FEEL like they have been CLOSED.

I had a leader out of Perth Australia recently say that the biggest complaint he hears from his team’s “closing” is that is was way too MANIPULATIVE and pressured.

Hello.

That is how many distributors/consultants come across. They are trying to manipulate the prospect into their business and do it quickly.

You are going in a losing proposition that will never build a long term home based business.

Ok, then what can we do to close the mlm home business prospect?

We came up with what we call The “You are Probably Waiting” Navigator.

What is a Navigator?

Great question.

I do not like to call these phrases or questions “Closes” as it is NOT what they are. They are “Navigators” that navigate the prospect to the decision that is right for them.

Closing ENDS things.

Navigating CATALYZES and OPENS things to happen.

So what did we come up with that was so powerful?

A very simple question that lays it out and the mlm prospect appreciates your honesty.

Here it is:

“You are probably waiting for some fancy, well rehearsed, manipulative close….something that is really tricky. That is not who I am. I respect your decision and want only what is best for you and your family. Look, either you see this or you don’t. Question is, do you believe we would make a GREAT TEAM if we started working this together?”

That’s it, ands has worked wonders through the years. Online as well as offline. And I would suggest that you spend some time practicing it, and getting it down in your own words.

If you do, don’t be surprised if you start seeing some amazing results in your mlm network marketing work at home business.

 The greatest part about this advancement is that you can speed up the process of prospecting and recruiting, and do this- while you are in dreamland at night. That is the beauty of it. All of these new tools are bringing new methods and new strategies of prospecting and enrolling people. That literally allows you to be auto-prospecting or what I call prospecting that PAYS.

 “PAYS — stands for Prospecting As You Sleep.

 “That is how you today are going to get paid huge in this industry- prospecting at night when you are in bed asleep. This is done with the Tools that are mentioned above and the new social media. Are there Success Strengths that you can develop for your network marketing business?

How can you take these and develop them in your home based business?

What kind of Strengths do you need to develop?

Developing Your Success Strengths.

 You need to develop certain strengths along the way.  Many distributors today work out of WEAKNESS not strength.

Why?

For the most part, they are taught that. They bring skills that did NOT work that well in the marketplace or their job, and then expect it to work in network marketing.

There are many different types of disciplines that you can develop and these disciplines can add and develop strength in what you do in your mlm business. But many times they are more focused on ACTIONS that you DO, not Thoughts that you THINK.

Thinking can be a STRENGTH or a Weakness. Often it is a Weakness in a distributors business.

What kind of Success Strengths do you need to develop?

These strengths would include:

 1)    Optimistic Thinking – about where we are going, ourselves, and life in general.

2)    Success Habits – Develop ones that will empower Success, not stop it.

3)    Skills and Specialized Knowledge – Identify the skills and knowledge that you will need to develop to create Success in your business.

 What THOUGHTS will you need to develop?   List them.

What HABITS will you need to develop?      List them.

What SKILLS will you need to develop?      List them.

 Where is your BELIEF?

 There is a difference between HAVING a goal and BELIEVING you will ACHIEVE the goal. You must BELIEVE that you can Succeed in NETWORK MARKETING. Belief is built by working your goals daily and being involved in them.

 1)    SEE in your mind the Success that you want.

2)    CREATE a picture in real life of what that looks like – DREAM board.

3)    READ your goals everyday and also a positive article or part of a book.

4)    DECIDE that you will only surround yourself with positive and powerful people and things.

 Evaluating Your Success Progress.

 You need to ask these questions on a regular basis:

 1)    Where am I honestly with my goals and how is my progress?

2)    What smaller goals should I have reached already?

3)    Am I building my belief and strengths daily?

4)    Do I SEE my goals being accomplished everyday?

5)    Do I surround myself with people who will support me and encourage me?

6)    Am I taking forward moving steps daily toward my goals?

7)    What do I need to improve the most TODAY?

  Make sure that you complete the Short Range, Intermediate Range, and Long Range Goal exercises.  Do it with your NETWORK MARKETING sponsor, review it constantly and recognize and celebrate your accomplishments in your mlm home business.

Are you satisfied with where your business is going in  your network marketing efforts?

Are you looking for some mlm training secrets that will help your home business EXPLODE?

What if there were only TWO WORDS that could accelerate your mlm home business-would you want to know them?

There are many words and qurstions that you can ask, and say that can be part of your activity, no doubt.

BUT- are you focused on the TWO WORDS that GROW your home based business success? A lot of folks are saying the right things- but to the wrong people.

Network marketing professionals- many of them- talk to the same prospects-over and over and over and over. Never realizing the conversation was OVER about 2 weeks ago…

But they were not either listening… or paying attention.

Has that ever happened to YOU? You just for whatever reason, cannot LET GO of the people you have talked to and when what was needed was to let them go…and you keep CHASING THEM.

Like a dog.

Ahem.

I have news for you…

YOU are NOT  dog.

YOU are a home business professional that needs to understand that there is more to this business then talking to a FEW people and then chasing them around talking some more….and some more…and some more.

Folks, this is NOT Net-BEG Marketing.

This is Net-WORK Marketing- with an emphasis on WORK. And that is the reason why you need to start focusing on a different approach and action level than where you are- if you are alowing the same people who have not said YES to you, dominate your time. And they will, many of them, as they like to feel that they are worthy of being “chased” even though they have nor real interest in your home based business.

But they will continue to let you call them and talk to them…and talk to them…and talk to them…and YOU think you are working.

NOT.

There are two words that will determine much of your success un your direct selling and matketing efforts…and I have a success quote that I sent out a while back that I believe will help you focus in more on the TARGETED prospects, not the “not serious” prospects…and many of the prospects out there today will lead you on, lead you astray thinking they are interested, and lead you out of this business because of frustration and discouragement.

What ARE those 2 words?

“NEW CONVERSATIONS.”

“New Conversations are the most powerful tool you have to build a growing business…not the Same OLD Conversations.”

Don’t talk to the same people all the time.

Talk to NEW people every day, every week, every chance.

Talk to NEW prospects every time that a conversation takes place that sounds like it could possibly lead to something powerful.

Take the Initiative and START a Conversation with someone you do not know. Ask them what their name is. Ask them if they live close by. Ask them if they might know of a good place to eat. Ask them if they could help you.

Ask them Ask them. Ask them.

YOU must become that and hold a New Conversation every chance that opens up to do so- in social media, in mobile marketing, in online recruiting, and offline as well.

I was talking with someone recently during a seminar, and all he talked about was how the price of gas was going to destroy his home business as no one would have the money to buy his products. He is in the personal delivery business and profit margins are not that high any way. And he said they were getting ready to tank even further.

Every  business that exist today are feeling it. Even home businesses. A friend of mine was talking about she might have to close her traveling for her home business down. She has a skin care business, and travels all over the region doing skin care and spa as well as nutrition  appointments. But she said the price of gas has gotten so high that she cannot afford that level of travel anymore. She discovered she was losing money the way she was doing it. And the price of her products has skyrocketed due to gas prices.

Sound familiar?

There is now talk about 5.00 per gallon of gasoline. but folks that are deluded are saying, “never happen in the US.”

Yeah right.

Crying the Blues.

That is why that the price of gas has everyone complaining, moaning, and crying the blues. No doubt, it has impacted the landscape of the home business world. And I am sure that you are aware of the extreme price increase in a gallon of gas, as well as many other things.

The price of gas has been reportedly to be impacting many different areas of life, as well as business. And it is only going to get worse, before it gets better. We all better get used to the fact that things are going to be increasing in price a lot for a while- and it may be a long while.

The prices of many things are increasing dramatically. For instance:

Food.

Electricity.

Vacations.

Airline flights.

Anything plastic.

Delivery of goods.

Manufacturing costs.

Hospitality costs.

And the list is long and almost endless.

BUT!

One of the biggest mistakes made on landing pages?  Long sentences, overkill on bullet points, too many  paragraphs—it’s hard for a visitor to take all that in! Vary the length of your phrases, your questions, and your points, use bullets (and keep ‘em short), and make sure paragraphs aren’t too long.
