How would you describe you in your home business?

Would you consider yourself “ALL IN” in your mlm business?

Is your network marketing business rocking or rotting?

One of the common issues in home based business is lack of POWER in the actions and results. This is a big problem for a lot of people. Most are not ALL IN or even PART IN. They are just showing up at their business and hoping someone will do something.

Same with the prospect. Most of the prospect jsut show up and lack any connection or POWER in their interest.

THAT is NOT how you build a 7 figure business in a home business.

There is a phrase that we taught for years in our group that we used to describe someone In Activity that will be totally Unstoppable:

“FULL ENGAGEMENT.”

This is the level of action that Engagement training teaches- to be FULLY ENGAGED in the activity of prospecting, contacting, doing presentations, closing people, doing meetings, or whatever else you choose to take action doing with your new
distributor.

How does that work?

Whether prospecting, contacting, doing a presentation, building your team, or any other action, you are Fully Engaged with your MIND as well as HEART.

You are engaged in action that is FELT not just heard- engaged in action that is EXPERIENCED– not just seen- and engaged in action FULLY WITH THE PROSPECT- as well as your new distributor- being a PART of the action– not just witnessing it.

When YOU and THE PROSPECT are engaged together in the action, you get them involved, and they feel a PART of what you are doing from the very beginning, you are Fully Engaged.

Give them something to look at. Ask a lot of questions. Get their opinion and input. Give them the product. Get them smiling. Get them INVOLVED and Fully Engaged WITH YOU.

Full Engagement is about getting the prospect to be WITH YOU not just listen TO YOU. I do not have the time in this e-book to give you all those secrets for that- but here is one:

Keep them tuned to KIA- AM radio.

 “Keep It All About Me.”

If you make the presentation ABOUT THEM- and NOT just about the product or business- you will have them Fully Engaged and
moving towards you easily. Talk Value, Benefits, and Rewards-and put them there in their mind. Take them on a fantasy island trip in their mind of the future they could have. Show them the TRUTH of the possibilities you offer in income
and security and taking back control of their life.

Then ask, Wouldn’t it be incredible… you and I doing all this together…what kind of business could you and I build as a powerful team?

Again, yes, there is a place for entertainment and education, but a small place. Engagement is where the True training is done and the Leadership building is catalyzed and engaged. Even with social media and internet marketing. Anything less than that
is training for total mediocrity and failure.

MLM Closing Tips.

Do you struggle with your “closing” as many people call it for their network marketing business?

Do you have a “pat” way that you close your prospect or do you try different things in your home based business?

What would be your closing ratio for your network marketing business when you ask for the order?

Many distributors struggle and do not need to.

First off, I do not call what most call “Closing the Prospect” Closing.

I really shy away from it, as it has a tendency to cast a negative message unknowingly to yourself. When you use the word “Close” it has a tendency to be a win or lose proposition.

You win.

Or…

You lose.

Nothing much inbetween. You either CLOSE them or you do not.

I prefer something more…well…GENTLE and something that will not be seen as a “transaction for MY gain” as often it comes across like that. I have seen “closers” that ALL they focus on is what THEY can get out of the prospect, not what the prospect can get to improve their life.

In network marketing, I have found throughout the world in my travels, EVERYONE feels the same way about this- they DO NOT want to FEEL like they have been CLOSED.

I had a leader out of Perth Australia recently say that the biggest complaint he hears from his team’s “closing” is that is was way too MANIPULATIVE and pressured.

Hello.

That is how many distributors/consultants come across. They are trying to manipulate the prospect into their business and do it quickly.

You are going in a losing proposition that will never build a long term home based business.

Ok, then what can we do to close the mlm home business prospect?

We came up with what we call The “You are Probably Waiting” Navigator.

What is a Navigator?

Great question.

I do not like to call these phrases or questions “Closes” as it is NOT what they are. They are “Navigators” that navigate the prospect to the decision that is right for them.

Closing ENDS things.

Navigating CATALYZES and OPENS things to happen.

So what did we come up with that was so powerful?

A very simple question that lays it out and the mlm prospect appreciates your honesty.

Here it is:

“You are probably waiting for some fancy, well rehearsed, manipulative close….something that is really tricky. That is not who I am. I respect your decision and want only what is best for you and your family. Look, either you see this or you don’t. Question is, do you believe we would make a GREAT TEAM if we started working this together?”

That’s it, ands has worked wonders through the years. Online as well as offline. And I would suggest that you spend some time practicing it, and getting it down in your own words.

If you do, don’t be surprised if you start seeing some amazing results in your mlm network marketing work at home business.

MLM Prospecting Tip # 1

In any social conversation, phone conversation, IM conversation, text conversation, skype conversation, webinar conversation, public meeting and prsentation, use the prospect’s or guest’s name. If you are at an in home meeting, hotel meeting, or luncheon meeting, Introduce yourself to them before the meeting starts. Even on a webinar, tell the prospect you are glad that they are there.”

 Sweet sweet music.

It sounds like a symphony of sweet violins and cellos playing in harmony together.

It sounds like 5 part perfect harmony.

It sounds like a baby’s first cry.

It sounds like a summer night’s beautiful orchestra.

It is PURE PERFECTION in communication.

Ok…what is it?

THEIR NAME.

The prospect’s sweetest sound to their ears will always be their name. And that is why you need to USE IT and USE IT OFTEN.

Nothing keeps a prospect or audience focused more than using their names in the Network Marketing conversation or even a presentation.

They will all sit up and take notice and be especially attentive and alert to you.

And on social media, ask the person if they have a great name, where that name came from. Draw them in with the sweetness of their name.

And THAT is POWER PROSPECTING!

Success in prospecting is nothing more than deciding to become that. YOU are an incredible prospector.

You must simply live into that truth.

 

 MLM Prospecting Tip # 2.

 “Prospect where people are, not where you feel comfortable going. Prospect BEYOND your comfort level to take your business to a NEW level.”

 It is called a PROSPECTING RUT.

It is a rut that many people get in and never leave.

You continue to go and talk with people that you are comfortable with, but yet…

They never come into the business or buy a product.

You even go to the same comfortable places HOPING someone will talk with you, but yet, you never talked with them.

You go to the same stores.

You go to the same bank branch.

You go the same old places….no variation.

NOTE:  Ahem.

There are more prospects in facebook groups than you could imagine.

There are more great prospects in LinkedIn than you can imagine.

What? You do not feel comfortable with that kind of social online prospecting?

Ok…

There are more prospects in one Networking meeting at the Chamber of Commerce meeting then 10 movies you want to go see.

There are more prospects in a work at home show in your city than you can imagine.

There are more prospects in a mall working there than you can imagine.

 Fish where the whales are, not the minnows.

Prospecting for minnows is easier and makes great wholesale customers, but whales don’t get tossed and lost with every change of the tide.

 When Prospecting, don’t just try and recruit your prospects. There is a much more powerful way to do it. Connect them to the amazing Possibilities of your business and connect that possibility to their DREAMS…and let them recruit themselves.”

 I really do not have anything else to say about this nugget.

Wow.

It really is that simple.

a. Find the Pain or Problem.

 b. Connect that Pain to your solution- your business.

 c. Then make the pain go away in their imagination – working
with you
.

End of story.

All prospecting is, and will ever be, is connecting the prospects heart to the Hope and Possibility that they CAN have the life they have always dreamed of, and you will help them get it with your Network Marketing products and company.

It is that simple.

End of pain.

There is MORE inside of YOU.
Reach DOWN and pull the Greatness up and then DO what you have been putting
off. SUCCEED wildly with it. Then Let the nay-sayers know they were WRONG!  UNLEASH your Greatness!

Quit Prospecting. Start Elevating. Lift people up first, and they will be more open and more drawn towards you. Encourage, Lift, and Pour Into the prospect all that your business
offers. Let them FEEL the business…not just hear about it.

There is a saying, “Pour it ON!”

I say, “Pour it OUT!”

 AndPour It IN!”

The greatest secret to prospecting is not about numbers or keep talking to people or even “throw it up against the wall and see what sticks” which I abhor that statement.

It is about POURING INTO the Prospect the Hope and Possibility that their life can be what they have always have DREAMED working with you.

Pour in kind words.

Pour in compliments.

Pour in a solution to their pain.

Pour in your Leadership for them to follow.

Pour in your heart and CARE about what they want.

They will move from prospect to friend.

And it s so much easier to recruit a friend than a stranger.

 YOU are able to do ANY and ALL things. YOU just must believe you can. Life is waiting on you….what are YOU waiting for?

1) “What ever you DO–NEVER bring your own life problems into a recruiting event or conversation-0nline or offline. You are there to help solve THE PROSPECT’S problems.”

Any type of negatives from you or our conversation  will absolutely shut down and shut out a potential mlm prospect. Many people do exactly that- go negative on the prospect, and why I could not tell you..

Here is a MLM Recruiting tip: Stay UP, Stay Energized, Stay Optimistic, and things- NO MATTER WHAT–are always GREAT! Let’s be real–the prospect has his/her own life challenges, and is looking for a SOLUTION and ANSWER, not more problems, even if they are not their own.

2) “Whether you are on social media, telephone, or at an appointment, always tell them why you are there, why you are calling, why you want to connect, or why you need to meet. “

There are Recruiting Tools we have taught for years and we call them “Clarifiers.” They help clarify things in the process of recruiting. Clarifying Phrases are powerful tools for online and offline.

For example:

“The reason I am calling…” is a very powerful  and clarifying phrase.

 “The reason I brought this up…” is a powerful phrase to transition into more of a recruiting conversation.

“The reason I wanted to share this with you is I have run across something that truly is amazing” is a powerful and personal way to come from the heart.

 “The reason I am reaching out and connecting is…” is a great social media/online way to connect and start the conversation about your business and products.

3) “Concerning using the phone with recruiting-Never let any initial telephone conversation go past 10 minutes….no matter what.”

There is a reason why this is co critical- even with online communication. If a conversation or call goes past 10 minutes, , you are showing the home business prospect that it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort and words to work this business. You need to respect their time, and that alone will make you more productive. Simply set another time to talk or to connect online if they have an interest in what you are offering.

WARNING: whatever you do, don’t come across as NEEDY and you are someone that  has a lot of extra time on your hands. You need to come across as BUSY, ENGAGED in your business, and you have other calls  to make and appointments to go to, or social threads to atend.

4) “Concerning any kind of Appointment: Never let an appointment – online or offline–go past 30 minutes….no matter what.”

If an appointment goes past 30 minutes, , you are telling the MLM prospect it takes a lot of time, effort, and words to work this business. In my 14 years full time, I never had an appointment go past 30 minutes.

Here is a shocker: Even if the home business prospect wanted to sign up, I was the one that asked asked for more time- every time. “I would love to get your name in the computer and order done…but I am going to have to have a few more minutes…is that ok?” If you Value their time,  they will value your leadership and presentation.

5) “Whether online or offline–When presenting, you MUST make sure you are focused on that they are looking to see how you and your business is going to bring VALUE to their life and family. In MLM Recruiting–It is ALL about VALUE.”

Here is a question i have asked many places: Would you want to buy a pair of new shoes if you saw absolutely no value in them?

Of course not.

The network marketing prospect will not sign up either without what they see as VALUE.

 You need to use what I call “Value Building Phrases:  

“How this brings Value to you and our family is…”

“What this means to you and your future is….”

 “How this will dramatically improve your life is…”

 “The Value to your income would be…”

Use “Value Building Phrases” in every presentation you do-online of offline.

11 MLM Recruiting Tips.

 Have you ever wondered what the REAL mlm recruiting tips are that REALLY work when you are with someone?

Are you willing to keep your mind open and GROW a little here?

These 11 recruiting tips are GOLD as they Will tell you what you will NOT learn elsewhere, and yes, online recruiting is great. But Offline recruiting is getting to be HOT again, so here are some tips that I KNOW will help dramatically improve your online and offline recruiting in your network marketing home business.

1) “When with a prospect, when meeting with them locally, keep your body language open.”

I have found that many times, we have a tendency to cross our arms, as well as our hands, or even cross our legs, because we are nervous and often come across as guarded. Folks, it sends a totally wrong silent message to the prospect that is sitting in front of you.. It makes the prospect more guarded and often more nervous.Whatever you do, keep your limbs open and a smile on your face, and tell the prospect silently but powerfully that you are glad they are there.

2) “When you are talking to a prospect on the phone, simply match their pace of talking. This will do wonders makng the prospect more comfortable.”

If you have put someone in the funnel online, and then get them on the phone, when someone is a slow talker, slow down your talking a bit. But on the other hand, if they are a more rapidfire talker, speed yours up a little bit. This is what is called  “mirroring” the prospect, and draws them towards you quickly and quietly. Psychologically, matching their pace of speech feels ten times more comfortable to the prospect in your MLM recruiting efforts.

3) “When you call the people on your warm market list, have only one name in front of you at a time. It will  intimidate you a whole lot less, as well as it can totally focus you on your recruiting efforts.”

Here is a tip: When you are calling someone, keep the name of the prospect you are calling written down on a card. And have that card – and NOTHING ELSE – sitting in front of you. And as you talk with them then take notes of what they are saying, so you can remember. If you are making a call, and see only one name to call in front of you, you will not get overwhelmed with a long list of  numbers sitting in front of you. Plus you will be solely and totally focused on the mlm prospect. You can also use your computer as well to do this. It is a great way to keep on track and improve your recall of the talk.

4) “If you are doing a public meeting, look directly into the eyes of who you are talking and is sitting in front of you. Don’t look past them and talk over their heads. Keep your presentation personal and warm.”

When doing a public presentation, many times we have a tendency to focus more on the presentation, than the prospect. You can keep the prospect “with you” by one little secret: Look in their eyes when you are talking, no matter how large the group is. And then move on to the next person in front of you and talk to them, looking into their eyes as well. Touch everyone you can with your eyes if at all possible.

Here is a Million Dollar Secret: Hold a conversation WITH the crowd, don’t just do a presentation. TO the crowd.

5) “When doing any type of a  public meeting, start using the prospect’s/guest’s name. You need to introduce yourself to the prospects before the meeting begins, or have them wear name tags and call their name out during the presentation.”

Nothing in the world keeps the audience more focused than calling out their names in a Network Marketing recruiting presentation. The prospects  will all take notice and sit up and be especially attentive, as they realize that ….you may call on them! This even works ONLINE as you read the name of the attendees. This little tip keeps the crowd focused, and more importantly–listening- for THEIR OWN name to be called out and recognized in front of the whole crowd.

6) “No matter what- NO EXCEPTIONS: NEVER carry your own issues and life problems into a recruiting event -online or offline. You are NOT there for YOU–but there to provide a SOLUTION for THE PROSPECT’S problems.”

You may not be aware you are doing this–but any kind of Negatives  -spoken or unspoken from you -will quickly and absolutely shut down a prospect. Many home business professionals do it. Here is a secret: Stay UP, Stay Totally Optimistic, and always answer about how things are in your life: GREAT! Remember: The prospect has his/her own life challenges, and has come there looking for powerful life changing solutions, not more problems. Hello.

7) “When you are making a phone call or doing a presentation of any kind–Always be polite and tell them why you are there, or why you are calling.”

“Here is what I said for years- and I made over 100,000 phone calls: The reason I am calling…” It is a very powerful, professional and super clarifying phrase. Another great phrase is: “The reason I brought this up…” It  is a great statement to transition someone into more of a recruiting focused conversation. “The reason I wanted to share this with you is I have run across something that truly is amazing” is one of the greatest ways to come totally from a place of help and service.

8) “Even if the prospect wants the call or conversation to go longer, never ever let any telephone call go past 15 minutes….no exceptions and no matter what.”

Understand the psychology behind this rule. If the call or conversation goes longer than 15 minutes, you are quietly sending the signal that it takes a lot of time and a lot of words to do this business. You MUST show respect for their time, and make yourself as well a lot more productive when recruiting. Set another time to call them back if they show an interest. And here is another secret: No matter what–Don’t come across as you are NEEDY and you just happen to have a lot of time on your hands. Come across as VERY BUSY, VERY ENGAGED, and you have other calls to more people to make.

9) “Whem you are meeting someone- online or offline –never let an appointment or presentation go past 45 minutes….no matter what- NO EXCEPTIONS.”

If an appointment or presentation goes past 45 minutes,, you are saying to the prospect that it takes a TON of time and EFFORT to succeeed in thus  business. I personally never had an appointment EVER go past 30 minutes and rarely 20. I made them value MY TIME as well as theirs. Even if they wanted to enroll right them and there, I always asked for more time with the prospect. “I would love to fill out the paper work and get you enrolled…but I am going to have to take a few more minutes to get that dine…is that ok?” If you show that you value their time, they will totally value your presentation.

10) “If you are online or offline doing a presentation, make sure you understand This ONE THING: They are looking to find out how your business is going to bring VALUE to their life and family. It is ALL STARTS WITH VALUE.”

I have a question for you: If you were shopping for a new pair of shoes, would you ever buy a pair of shoes if you saw no value in them? Of course not as it would be a waste of money. NOTE: The home business prospect will not take action either without seeing VALUE in your offer. Put VALUE Front and Center: “How this brings a lot of Value to you is…” “What this truly means to you and your family is….” “How this business will improve your life and income  is…” “The Value to your family’ future and lifestyle would be…” Use what we call “Value Building Phrases” in every presentation and conversation- online of offline.

11) “The Rule of BWPA: Be Where People Are. You MUST network where people are, NOT where you happen to  feel more comfortable going.”

Million Dollar Tip for working offline: There are more number of  prospects in one offline Networking meeting at the Chamber of Commerce meeting then 25 movies you will ever take the time to go see. You MUST take the time to fish where the whales are, not where the minnows swims and plays. It is just common sense: recruiting smaller minnows is easier and they can make great wholesale customers. But lets get REAL:  Big Enormous  Whales don’t get tossed and lost with every daily change of the tide.

BONUS TIP:   “If you are looking to build a business and team FAST–don’t just recruit your prospects. That is how most lose their people. DO THIS: Powerfully Connect their heart to the Amazing Possibilities of your business…. and then sit back and  let them recruit themselves. Paint a Picture in their mind of where you are going to take them”
