MLM Training- Do YOU Come across like a Professional or Amateur?

mlm training

mlm training

MLM Training on Professionalism.

Do you practice professionalism in your home based business?

Are you looking profressional in your business image for your mlm business?

Would you consider yourself a professional and does your demeanor show it?

The world of network marketing and home business is demanding more and more that we come across like a professional. Many distributors do not. And that can cost you a LOT in your mlm recruiting efforts.

Why?

We all are looking for something that will explode your home business:

Locating HIGH QUALITY TALENT.

There are MANY similarities to corporate recruiting and home business recruiting. The engagement may be different, but the results are still the same focus in our home business effrots..The same goes for social media recruiting. Both corporate recruiting and home business recruiting have similar processes and both want the same thing:

Locating HIGH QUALITY TALENT for the corporation, as well as a good company for the candidate- that both will work out well in the future.

Is that not really what a network marketer does?

They want to locate high quality talent for their business, as well as make sure
that their business is a long term fit for the prospect. High quality talent for a home business GUARANTEES that  will have the greatest chance for Success.

So many times though, the exact opposite is true.

The home business recruiter is looking for ANYONE WITH A PULSE to recruit and will settle for most anyone with a BREATH. If a weak candidate will listen to their presentation, they will settle for that candidate.

And because of that, they recruit lower quality, ill fitting prospects into their business
that do not work, or even stay. They would have been better suited as only customers, which those alone are HIGHLY VALUABLE in a home business.

What would happen if a corporate recruiter approached their career that way?

Think about it…

What would their results be?

Not much.

What would their reputation be?

Not much.

Would they be able to keep their corporate clients happy?

Not much.

Would they have retention in their candidate selection?

Not much.

Would they be a corporate recruiter for long?

 Not much longer.

That is the same reason why that so many home business professionals do not create the Success they desire. They are NOT approaching their business at the level of professionalism, and the level of quality talent that they need to approach it.

And they end up with… NOT MUCH.

It is the same with Social Media Recruiting folks.

A Home business professional MUST approach their efforts with the right focus and philosophy, professional mind set, as well as effective strategies.

You MUST have the right professional approach, image, words, attitude, and demeanor. These things will help accelerate your home business success for your mlm network marketing business.

The 2 Types of Prospects and what NOT to Do

MLM Training- Are YOU Practicing “Net-DOG Marketing” Unknowingly?

mlm home business

mlm network marketing

MLM Network Marketing prospecting.

Are YOU practicing NetDOG Marketing?

Do you KNOW what that is in a home business?

Would you like to know what it is and STOP IT if you are in a network marketing business?

This business of MLM often has gone to the DOGS!

WHAT??????

It is time that you realized the “Rule of the Dog” in Network Marketing:

You are NOT a dog. Quit chasing after people like a dog – and start developing new relationships with people who are chasing you.

READ THAT AGAIN.

You are NOT a dog. Quit chasing after people like a dog-  and start developing new relationships with people who are chasing you.

Most people in this business chase people for phone calls, for appointments, and even dates
they can get together and talk.

That is one of the most powerful realizations in home business. Chasing people that you
want to recruit into this industry is:

1)   Demeaning.

You do not need to be demeaned in your efforts from people that will never understand. You are a Home Business Professional and you should realize that you are looking for the RIGHT leader- not just for someone that has a breath. Quit chasing the Neg-heads and start embracing new friends who want to talk to you that you can find online.

2)   Desperate.

When you are chasing folks, you are looking and coming across as desperate. Your intentions may be good, but your image is not. Chasing people always looks like you have nothing going on in your business, and this is one of your last prospects. You need to come
across as the exact opposite. You will be glad that you did, as it truly makes you look confident.

3)   Delusional.

If you think that chasing people to get them into your business is going to be magnetic, you are delusional. It will never attract quality into your business. And you will continue to be frustrated and discouraged.

Now let’s be clear about something.

You MUST follow up with everyone that you connect with. That is part of the foundational
Success process.

But you do not want to chase them.

That sends the wrong message and the wrong intentions.

Leaders do NOT chase. They simply reconnect and see if they are supposed to pursue it any further.

What is the dfference?

Chasing is letting the prospect set the time agenda and control the situation.

Letting the prospect chase you is you setting the time agenda, and controlling the
situation like all Leaders do.

That is why that you need to make that paradigm shift, and start to understand that thee
are people out there that truly are looking for you, and you just need to connect with them. That is why social media is so important in today’s business.

It allows you access to these folks and the ability to find them, befriend them, and then recruit them. It takes time, and it takes some learning, but it is so much more powerful than chasing prospects continually just trying to get them to answer the telephone.

Do NOT practice NetDOG Marketing in your mlm network marketing home business!

MLM Recruiting Tips.

Do you often feel the PAIN of someone telling you NO in your mlm home business?

Have you ever gotten discouraged when someone you thought WAS coming into your network marketing businessdoes NOT?

What would it be worth to you to learn how to get past that?

Let me tell you about the MLM Recruiting Law of Direct Proportion.

It is a Law that is so powerful that if you “Get It” you will move past the pain of “rejection” very quickly.

Here is how it works:

If you have 5 people in the pipeline and 3 tell you NO, what would happen on the inside?
Odds are, you would get a little tense as you only have 2 people left that are
looking at the business.

You get a little nervous and start worrying.

But if you have 40 or 50 looking at the business, and 5 tell you NO, do you really care?

NO. Not really if you are honest about it.

It does not create any type of worry or being anxious.

You have so many more possibilities that can say yes.

That brings us to the Law of Direct Proportion:

The pain of the word NO will only hurt in direct proportion to the number of people that looking at your business. The more people that you have looking at your business, the less the word NO bothers you.

It is called Painless Prospecting.

And you have to have some numbers looking at the business – thee is not doubt. But most
people are NOT taught that because their sponsor will be afraid they will scare
them off.

Let’s listen to the 7 Billion Dollar Mentor:

“If people would just be honest with their new distributors, they would fins their attrition rate, or people quitting, would be so much less. And they would even find their activity level increasing dramatically as they start working the
numbers that really will insure success, versus struggle. We did a study with
our team in the late 90s and found out some interesting things.

“The folks who had 5-10 people looking at the business, their average check was
about $750- 1000.00.

“The folks that had 10- 20 people looking at the business, their check averaged
about $2,500.00.

“The folks that had 20-35 people looking at the business their check was averaging at least $7,000.00 a month.

“But the folks who had 45 or more looking at the business, their average check was 15,000.00 +.

“There is a pattern here that I hope people can learn from. And there is no better way to get the numbers looking at your business then jumping into the social media on the internet. You can find an infinite number of leads on the internet that you can befriend and get the numbers up in your pipeline quickly. I have not done 7 billion in volume by accident. I would suggest you take this particular scroll to heart.”

Simple. You need more people looking at this business than you probably have. If you want
to learn how to create an infinite amount of leads on line, than you need to
become a Storm Warrior and embrace the social media like many already have.

The PassionFire site is a great training ground for those who are looking for more out of their business via online prospecting for their own network marketing mlm home business.

We are now holding initial conversations with some potential Leaders. I am not sure that this would be something right for you –or you for us, but would love to chat for a minute. 5 Powerful MLM Prospecting Scripts

A Powerful Social Media Recruiting  Formula

MLM Social Media- The “LOOKER” Social Media Recruiting Prospect

social media mlm

social media home business

Social Media Recruiting Training.

Are you recruiting people in Social Media for your home based business?

Do you use social media for your prospecting in your network marketing training?

Are you successful in your social media recruiting for your network marketing business?

There are 4 types of folks that you will find in your social media recruiting efforts. The first one is the LOOKER.

Let’s take a look at the LOOKER Type of Candidates in Social Recruiting:

1. The LOOKER.

This prospect in corporate recruiting is the person who is ACTIVELY LOOKING for a job or employment. In home business  mlm recruiting, this is a prospect that is LOOKING FOR CHANGE and LOOKING FOR MORE out of life.

They have their “radar” on looking for a FIT and a MATCH to where they see their lives are going.

They can be found on LinkedIn, Fast Pitch Networking, job boards, in discussion groups, asking for referrals, sending out direct messages, as well as just in social groups networking. They spend time not only on LinkedIn, but also facebook, follow
twitter feeds for possible job options, and check online career boards for possible options. They go to hotjobs.com, monster.com, careerbuilder.com, among many other career sites.

THAT is one of the biggest traits when it comes to LOOKERS. They are aggressively NETWORKING with other people, EXPOSING their names and profiles to get noticed. They are not afraid of placing their resume online and in public if needed.

In home business recruiting, Lookers make it known via comments and conversations that they are searching for a change in their life or want MORE out of life. It could be because of college tuition coming up, wanting a new home or car, or almost
anything that helps move their life forward to where they want it to go.

Lookers know what they are looking for, where they must go to possibly find it. They are very social and social media savvy in nature. They spend more time on social sites then the average person, can smell insincerity through their computers, and
known what they can bring to the table skill set wise as well as education.

Traits of a LOOKER.

The traits of a Looker are:

  •          Aggressive.
  •          Sharp.
  •           AWARE.
  •          Know what they want and how to get it.
             Relationship based.
            Teachable and Willing to Learn.
            Timing is NOW not tomorrow.
Leadership skill set can be strong.
            Ambitious and growing.
Dissatisfied and Discontented, but  not Discouraged.
            Sense of Urgency.
            Loyal and demands loyalty.
  1. These folks are easy to recruit for a home business. Even if they are looking a corporate position, they still can be easy to recruit.

The Social Recruiter  says, “Surprisingly, many of the Lookers actually are open to a more non traditional career path- even some part time. When I discovered this, I thought that was amazing. I only offer full time employment. But if I was in a home business, I would spend a lot of time looking for those kinds of candidates. They make themselves known and make it a point to get to know others. They are natural networkers and go getters.

Some are motivated by unjustly being fired, some because they want a career change, some because they
want better money or position, and others because they want a more suitable corporate culture to work in. They are front and center and let you know it. But again, you only get ONE SHOT at this type of candidate.

You MUST use the words and phrases that will get their attention the RIGHT WAY. Many people in social media I have observed, truly say a lot of the wrong things that push the candidate away. They could have had a powerhouse of a Leader with amazing connections at their call, but did not know the right approach or social focus to PULL them in. It is critical that you know this. Otherwise, you will never get the time of day
from them.”

How about YOU? Are you making that mistake?

Lookers are looking for a MATCH.

It is the same in home business and mlm. Lookers are looking for a MATCH.

They are lookingfor a match to where they want their life to go, and a possible business vehicleto get them there. That is the reason that if you are talking to a Looker, then you need to talk “match.”

“I am looking for a match for my company and someone who is looking for a match for their future.
Someone who would be a great fit for us and our company would be a fit for them.”

 You get the point.

This is how you hold conversation on the social sites. Talk “Match” and “Fit” with Lookers. That is the language that will pull them towards you. It rings in their heart as a conversation they would like to explore.

Lookers are VISIBLE and VALUABLE.

Lookers are the “Hunters” in Social Recruiting and they actively go out and “hunt” for the right job or the right business for their life. They are ACTIVE Networkers and are powerful Connectors. They are active in social media as well as offline.

They spend a LOT of time connecting with who they perceive the “right people”- someone who can help them locate the position or career they are looking for. They are often powerful Leaders with a vision for where they are headed. And many are looking
also to “expand” their horizons with something different-like a part time business they own in mlm or network marketing.

Many Lookers today are looking – with one eye for employment online- and with the other eye looking for possible alternatives. YOU offer the alternative with a home business.

You will find MANY Lookers at LIVE Social Networking Events including: “meetups,” “tweetups,” and “Mashups.”

Look for them and connect to them for a conversation of possibilities for your mlm network marketing home business.

MLM Training- Most Powerful Closing Question You can Ask Your Prospect

mlm network marketing

mlm home business closing

MLM Closing Tips.

Do you struggle with your “closing” as many people call it for their network marketing business?

Do you have a “pat” way that you close your prospect or do you try different things in your home based business?

What would be your closing ratio for your network marketing business when you ask for the order?

Many distributors struggle and do not need to.

First off, I do not call what most call “Closing the Prospect” Closing.

I really shy away from it, as it has a tendency to cast a negative message unknowingly to yourself. When you use the word “Close” it has a tendency to be a win or lose proposition.

You win.

Or…

You lose.

Nothing much inbetween. You either CLOSE them or you do not.

I prefer something more…well…GENTLE and something that will not be seen as a “transaction for MY gain” as often it comes across like that. I have seen “closers” that ALL they focus on is what THEY can get out of the prospect, not what the prospect can get to improve their life.

In network marketing, I have found throughout the world in my travels, EVERYONE feels the same way about this- they DO NOT want to FEEL like they have been CLOSED.

I had a leader out of Perth Australia recently say that the biggest complaint he hears from his team’s “closing” is that is was way too MANIPULATIVE and pressured.

Hello.

That is how many distributors/consultants come across. They are trying to manipulate the prospect into their business and do it quickly.

You are going in a losing proposition that will never build a long term home based business.

Ok, then what can we do to close the mlm home business prospect?

We came up with what we call The “You are Probably Waiting” Navigator.

What is a Navigator?

Great question.

I do not like to call these phrases or questions “Closes” as it is NOT what they are. They are “Navigators” that navigate the prospect to the decision that is right for them.

Closing ENDS things.

Navigating CATALYZES and OPENS things to happen.

So what did we come up with that was so powerful?

A very simple question that lays it out and the mlm prospect appreciates your honesty.

Here it is:

“You are probably waiting for some fancy, well rehearsed, manipulative close….something that is really tricky. That is not who I am. I respect your decision and want only what is best for you and your family. Look, either you see this or you don’t. Question is, do you believe we would make a GREAT TEAM if we started working this together?”

That’s it, ands has worked wonders through the years. Online as well as offline. And I would suggest that you spend some time practicing it, and getting it down in your own words.

If you do, don’t be surprised if you start seeing some amazing results in your mlm network marketing work at home business.

Is Pinterest Traffic Worthless?

4

How would you like to discover the Power of Pinterest for your mlm home business?

Would having an understandinf of what kind of traffic you can build with Pinterest be of worth for your network marketing home business?

Here is a powerful post by copyblogger on Pinterest Traffic which I DEARLY loved for network marketing and home based  business.

And I am a big fan of the copyblogger site and newsletter, so I highly recommend that you check it out as I have learned a lot the last 4 years from Brian and his team.

Here is the post for your work at home business and Pinterest:

You’ve seen tons of articles raving about it.

How it’s driving more traffic than anything in the known universe. How you need to be “pinning” and have “pinnable stuff” or you’re going to fail at this magical new social network. How it’s the greatest thing since, well, the last greatest thing.

And you want someone to be straight with you. So here’s the truth …

Pinterest traffic is worthless.

But so is all traffic — unless you do something with it.

Seeing patterns that aren’t there

The problem with most of what’s being written about Pinterest traffic is that it’s pointing out the wrong things. What passes for “reporting” is someone opening Google Analytics, seeing a spike in referrals from Pinterest, and writing an “OMG! Lots of Traffic” post.

Very few are taking the time to do any due diligence on the larger picture.

Are people clicking through, or is the “traffic” just a remote call to the pinned image? Where are your visitors going? What are they doing?

You have to ask real questions, and look for real answers, not patterns based on what others think they’re seeing.

And the wonderful thing about running a business online is that almost everything is testable, trackable, and adjustable.

What’s really going on with Pinterest traffic?

Data doesn’t lie (at least when you’re using it correctly).

Understanding your data — traffic, patterns, and conversions — is critical to your content marketing strategy.  Especially when it comes to a new traffic source.

At Copyblogger Media, much of what we do is guided by data — traffic patterns, market analysis, feedback, customer input, and conversion scenarios.

And the increased Pinterest traffic we receive is treated no differently.

We watch, track, analyze, and correlate to figure out how best to capitalize on this new traffic source. Here are a few things we’ve discovered …

Traffic:

  • In the last three months (Jan 1-Mar 28), Pinterest helped traffic grow on each of our sites.
  • For Copyblogger, Pinterest was the #3 referring website, bested only by Facebook and Twitter.
  • Between January 1st and March 5th, when the 15 Grammar Goofs That Make You Look Silly infographic was posted, Pinterest sent close to 15,000 visits. Based on the number of times it was pinned, this told us that fewer than half of the people who pinned the image actually clicked through.
  • In the week following that infographic, Pinterest sent 2.7 times as much traffic as the three months before.
  • Individual post activity seems to hold a long shelf life when it’s popular on Pinterest. Often, a tweet is lifeless within a day, where a pin can continue pulling traffic for weeks after being published.
  • During this same three-month period, Pinterest was the #29 referring site for StudioPress.
  • While the amount of raw Pinterest traffic — the number of visits — is smaller for StudioPress than for Copyblogger, visitors to StudioPress stay much longer and visit more pages on average. For example, the average visit duration for a Pinterest-referred visitor on Copyblogger is 0:00:32, compared to an average of 0:05:28 on StudioPress.
  • Pinterest visitors check out 1.16 pages on average after clicking through to Copyblogger, compared to 6.34 pages on StudioPress.
  • The bounce rate for Pinterest visitors on Copyblogger averages out to 91.7%, StudioPress is 49.9% on average. This is much higher than our site averages, and higher than most other traffic sources.

Visitor Flow:

  • Infographic pins have exceptionally high bounce rates and very short visits, usually less than a minute. However, other pins (such as the 56 Ways to Market Your Business on Pinterest post) that led to straight copy had much longer visits and lower bounce rates.
  • On that Pinterest marketing post, the majority went on to the main page, followed by the Internet Marketing for Smart People, Genesis, and SEO site quality pages.
    Check Out Your URL
  • On days when Pinterest activity was particularly high, traffic increased to each of our product sites from Copyblogger.
  • 89.6% of Pinterest-referred visitors to Copyblogger were new to the site. Only 44.4% of Pinterest referrals on StudioPress brought new visitors.
  • The StudioPress top Pinterest-pulling post included an infographic about How Developers are Driving the Business Adoption of WordPress.
  • The vast majority of other StudioPress popular pins were all themes or showcase websites. These pins, on average, showed very low bounce and exit rates, with most continuing on to the themes page, the showcase, the blog, or the features page.
  • On average, they also showed fewer new visitors, which historically correlates with low bounce rates on our properties.

OK, so what does all of this mean for you?

In short, it means:

  1. You need to have specific goals for using the traffic from Pinterest.
  2. Work with the traffic as you would from any source — driving it to landing pages and through a conversion path.

For example, we’ve optimized certain pages on Copyblogger to drive visitors to our list and product pages. We’ve found that the traffic from Pinterest can be also driven to those sources, if a clear call to action is present.

On StudioPress, optimizing showcase pages to drive traffic to the related themes has shown an increase of on-page time and conversions — especially for repeat visitors.

So, even though the traffic from Pinterest for StudioPress was much lower than for Copyblogger, the overall bounce rate was also lower, on-page time was higher, and conversions were better because the path was more predictable.

Armed with that data, we can better utilize the traffic on all of our sites through tracking and testing.

And so can you.

Our analysis shows us a number of best practices for converting Pinterest traffic:

  • Infographics and smaller images command more click-throughs because they’re unreadable from the Pinterest site.
  • Infographic headlines are key to getting people to click through.
  • Compelling subjects covered with too-small-for-Pinterest font choices are ideal.
  • People who do move around your site upon arrival will likely follow a predictable path (for example: a showcase theme pin leads to a page path that is more likely to start with the themes gallery than the blog).
  • You can control how traffic responds by making a specific call to action on your pin’s landing page.
  • Longer visits on pins that bring repeat traffic is an important metric, since on commerce-driven sites you may need to get someone to your page a few times before they buy.
  • Pinterest doesn’t sell stuff — you do. By funneling the traffic properly, you can convert visitors into customers.

Traffic from any source is only worthwhile if you have specific goals for it. You can use Pinterest for customer engagement, personal branding,  or as an entry point to your conversion funnel.

This is a great post on Pinterest and I found it fascinating. I would encourage you to check out how to recruit on Pinterest with Pinterest Recruiting! This is only one of many posts that will be coming for your Pinterest Recruiting education for your mlm home based business.
