MLM 4 Step Telephone Process.

Do you make telephone calls for your home business?

What does a good phone call sound like and go like?

These are questions that need to be addressed as the phone still is the # 1 tool that a home business professional has in their arsenal to succeed. If you are not having the success you are looking for on your phone calls, you my want to consider this 4 step process in making phone calls for your home business.

Here is a 4 Step process for every phone call you  make, and you need to be aware of it:

1) BREAKING THE ICE.

This step is simply the first 30 seconds to a minute and getting the conversation warmed up. It usually contains questions and phrases like:

“How have you been?”
“What’s going on?”
How are the kids?”
“How is work?”
“Just wanted to call you to let you know…”
“I was thinking about you and just wanted to check in…”

2) CONNECTION.

After you have broken the ice, and the conversation has warmed up, then you naturally start the Connection step. You Connect with friends and family with topics like:

Your last conversation.
Their children.
Their spouse.
Latest news.
Their life happenings.
Their job.
Their hobbies, interests, faith, etc.

3) THE MESSAGE.

You have broken the ice, connected with them, now comes the Message. This is the REAL REASON for the phone call. You are going to deliver a Message to them about something that you want them to know, think about, do, go to, learn about, or just to let them know you were thinking about them.

Your Message is one of Helping the prospect as well as:

Making Life More Comfortable, bringing a New Hope to people’s lives, Transforming their Destiny, Creating a Totally Secure Future, Enlarging Lifestyle, and Living a Richer Life.
Your Message for Retailing is One of benefits of the product, Value to the consumer, and helping you.

The REAL Message you are bringing is:

You are a great person and deserve the best that life has to offer.
I want to make you FEEL better about yourself, and feel like a Million Dollars after this call.
I want you to feel APPRECIATED, APPROVED OF, A PART OF, and ACCLAIMED.
I want you “POUR OUT” Encouragement, Empowerment, and Belief.
I want to MAKE YOU GLAD I CALLED!

Mastery Secret: Make the person ecstatic that you called.

4) THE DIRECTION.

Here are some questions that need to be asked:

Where do we go from here at this point?
Is it that you will call them later in the future?
Do you have a specific target that you want to establish?
Do you have an action you want them to take?
Did you set a time for a future call?
What is the destination of where you want them to go?

What NOW happens?

Have you ever been discouraged in your home based business you are working?

Are you fighting discouragement now in your network marketing enterprise?

Often, discouragement can be like a cancer that you do not know that is happening. I have seen this take so many good people out of this business. They had GREAT potential but yet, they did not stay on the business.

WHY?

Well, to answer that, you really need to look at the REASONS why people get frustrated and discouraged. It is quite revealing how it happens, what makes it happens, and even how to over come it. But one thing I know- you CAN and WILL overcome it if you allow yourself to do that. I think you should also visit birrongsurialpacas for more information.

What IS discouragement and what prompts it in the home business profession?

It starts with an understanding of what discouragement really is, and what creates it, and then what to do to get rid of it, and ALL MLM Leaders need to know this.

First off, all discouragement is really and simply an emotion that replaces courage, or the will to continue. Discouragement has a “STOP” impact on all of us, and it stops us from moving forward.

And just like the negative and potentially poisonous words displace, distrust, or dislike, this emotion creates the opposite of what once was. It is the Silent, Deadly Thief in a Distributors life, and you must know how to handle it if you are ever going to  build a great team. It is easy to do- if you know WHAT TO DO and what causes this emotion of STOP.

Through our research and 26 years in this profession, we have found that there are basically 5 things that create discouragement in this business, and all else revolves around them:

1)Questioning yourself.

All discouragement starts with simply questioning yourself whether consciously, or subconsciously. Those deadly words -”Can I really Do this?” echoes in their heart and you really start to doubt you and your abilities and this alone can sabotage a career in direct sales. I have seen it too many times.

2) Lack of Results.

This is a biggie. RESULTS RULE in most cultures in the home business profession. You can eject yourself from this business with no results or at least small results that do not get any bigger. And all this starts with questioning YOU, your ABILITIES and TALENT, which sabotages your actions, which cripples your results.

3) Expectations too high.

This is done almost daily in this profession and it is a killer of results and even bothering to attempt any actions. It can be a de-moralizer, and a de-motivator as well.  The new person does not yet have the skill set to build a million dollar business, but expects to, and when it does not happen quickly as they expect or have been led to expect, they think they cannot do this business. They CAN but they have to develop the belief and skill set- something someone forgot to tell them.

4) Listening to the Wrong People.

This can discourage quickly especially if Influencers in your life are being negative towards your new home business.  People that the new distributor knows becomes negative and the distributor is not inoculated to fend off the poison arrows of negative and stopping words and conversations.. (This is a Must!)

5) Loss of a Vision OnFire.

People start a hone business to Increase, Empower, or Improve something in their life. All Leaders know this. After you have been in a while, you can lose the Fire for your Vision, because slowly, silently, Doubt has crept in, created by distractions, or Lack of Focus, or lack of Empowering Relationships…growing into a Discouragement Tumor, then Cancer. And then because of the lack of Fire being fanned, it slowly….goes out.

 5.  “Can you see yourself or someone you know becoming successful in something like this?”

This profile will help you ascertain who truly has an interest and doesn’t in network marketing.

What do you do AFTER the 5 questions are asked? Here is the next move or action you need to take:

Hand out the Information Packets.

These simply contain brochures, audios and any other information piece you think they need…and include Success information as well. I have always suggested including a quotes page or booklet as a gift they will appreciate.

 Socialize again and answer questions, and set follow up appointments.

Ask — ”Which part did you like the best?” or “What made the most sense to you?” or “What really got your attention?”

And then set up times to follow up one on one…for your mlm network marketing home business.

If you are planning on sending invites out for your in home meeting, send them an invitation in the mail about your meeting, PLUS in an email as insurance, 2 weeks before your in home meeting happens. There are amny different types of invites but we like to send what we call MAGNETIC INVITES.

For example, a rep for a nutrition company would send something like this:

“You are cordially invited to a Private Business Reception at my home on Wed. the 22nd, to celebrate the opening of our new business in the <Healthcare Industry.>  You will learn how important <Healthcare> is today for our personal lives, littel known tips that will help you with <                 >  and also how to take advantage of a Trillion Dollar industry that is growing rapidly. It starts at ——–pm, and will end in about an hour or less. Food and drinks will be served and there will be free gifts and prizes given away. Please RSVP. I look forward to seeing you!”

This invite is short, to the point, and tells them what it is all about. PLUS it assumes they are coming. There are many ways to write an invitation, check with your sponsor to see what he/she recommends. One of the best ways to insure they read your invite is to social them, email them, and snail mail them. it is effective and powerful for an in home invite.

ALSO– Dont forget to buy the food and drinks for the Reception!

Don’t over do it but be generous. Sodas and finger foods are nice, and all that is really needed. This is NOT a banquet, but a nice reception to celebrate your mlm business. By the way, word of advice: NO ALCOHOL. This is a business meeting and you want to set  standard with you and your team of professional business. What you do AFTER the meeting is your personal business.

And dont forget to Follow up with a phone call!!

 “Hello Nancy? This is Doug, I need your help on something. I recently sent you an invitation to a reception at my home, and I am following up because I really need  you there as a friend. Can I count on you being there for me?”

KEY Phrase: ”Can I count on you being there for me?” will double your attendance at your meetings, as most people id they know they are being counted on will show up.

7 Ineffective Ways to Generate MLM Leads From Social Media

Are you wasting your time on social media with your home business?

Are you frustrated with your results in your network marketing prospecting on social media?

Maybe you need to think and do something different for your mlm lead generation.

I cannot remember where I got this article, but whoever sent it to me did all of us a huge favor. This post is one of the beter ones I have seen about wasting time and effort in social media and what to do about it.

This article I KNOW will help you tighten up your lead generation in social media.

1. Not being where your target customers are.

It’s not important to maintain a presence on just any social media network in order to engage with potential and current consumers; you have to be where they actually are. If you are posting content and updates blindly to Twitter, but members of your target market aren’t present there, what’s the point?

The first step in effective use of social media for lead generation is to research and determine which social media sites your target audience is active on a regular basis. That way when you do share content and information, you can know you’re working to build awareness for your blog, product, service, and other types of content you offer on a regular basis.

Awareness is a key preliminary stepping stone for lead generation, since prospects likely go through a period of learning more about your business and deciding whether or not they should research your company further.

2. Not providing valuable content.

If you’re just pushing out content about your product and why it’s so “awesome,” more than likely, people will not want to share or engage with it. If someone is following your brand on Facebook, it’s probably to see what valuable content and offers you can offer them. Rather than product-focused content, focus on content rich with tips and tricks which can help to relieve your target customers’ pain points.

When you target the content you’re offering to the different marketing person as you have defined for your business, then your prospects will be much more likely to engage with your brand and therefore, more likely to complete a lead-capture form for a piece of your content. In short, providing targeted, useful content will help you generate more qualified leads who may genuinely be interested in what you have to offer.

3. Not using calls-to-action or sharing targeted links to landing pages.

I could have sworn the most effective use of social media for lead gen is the ability to share links to your content, blog, and cool offers? Don’t just say you have a great blog or that your fans should check out your awesome new ebook, link to it, and use an enticing call-to-action to do so. You’d be surprised how commonly businesses neglect to do this.

Furthermore, share targeted links. Don’t talk about how your followers should register for your upcoming webinar and link to your website’s homepage that has no mention of the webinar. Instead, link to a targeted landing page where visitors to register. Even better, target specific content to different platforms. Create special offers for Twitter followers that are different from your offers to your Facebook fans.

4. Not leveraging social media real estate.

When people visit your pages on social sites, they probably want to learn more about your brand and its offerings. On Facebook, you can provide as many links as you would like in the Info section. On Twitter, you can use the short bio to share a link that is integral to your
service. Same with LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, and other platforms you may be a part of. Use that real estate wisely; it’s there for a reason.

While social media is a great platform to help you generate leads, you still want to create a connection between the educational content your prospects are downloading and the recognition that your business does more than give out free stuff. Make sure you’re effectively leveraging the real estate of your social media accounts to create that brand and product awareness, too.

5. Not integrating email and social media.

Email marketing and social media are great friends, not enemies. They work together well, help each other out to promote content, and share one another’s information on a regular and
consistent basis. You should promote your presence on social media sites through buttons on each email as well as share links to email opt-in forms for social followers to sign up to be a part of your email database.

When you combine the power of your lead generation tools, you’ll create a more strategic effort and a better chance of reaching and nurturing your potential customers through multiple fronts, allowing them to choose how they engage with you, consume information, and decide if they would like to move further down the sales cycle.

6. Not displaying highly visible social share and follow buttons.

So you have your website and blog and all this great content, but can people easily share it? Be sure to place easy-to-see and -use share and follow buttons on all your content in order to
increase its reach. The more your fans share your content with their networks,
the more potential new leads will see it!

7. Not analyzing the effectiveness of your social media efforts.

You may be on the latest and great social platforms, sharing awesome content, listening and engaging with your potential audience, and collecting that valuable lead information, but how do you determine if it’s working as well as you want it to? You should be regularly
analyzing how much traffic and leads you’re generating from each social platform you’re participating in as well as how valuable it is.

This will allow your team to evaluate its efforts and make adjustments if needed. For instance, you may want to spend more time engaging the community that tends to convert into more qualified leads. Or perhaps you’ve discovered that Facebook fans prefer different types of offers than Twitter followers. Use this data to perfect your future lead gen efforts in social media to do more of what works and less of what doesn’t.

MLM Training on Three Way Calls.

Are you using three ways in your home based business recruiting?

Do you understand how to bring an mlm three way to a close in network marketing?

Do you know what to do after that in mlm?

Many do not and that is the reason for this post. I want you to GET how to end a three way and what to do after that. Three way calling is an art, and can be a lot of fun if done correctly.

Part THREE of How to DoThree Way Calls in your Home Business MLM:

 “The Summary” or Next Move: Back in your hands

Summarize what the prospects have agreed to, and thank them for their time. Tell them you are looking forward to seeing them at the event.  Get off the phone immediately to keep it brief!  This is not the time for you to tell them anything more about NETWORK
MARKETING. Let the event/conference call do the work for you!  If you tell them too much, they’ll have no reason to come and find out more.

“Lisa, how about if I pick you up at 6:00 PM? (Or call you at 7 pm?) Great.
I’ll let you go because I’m… (Walking out the door; putting dinner on;
getting the kids in the tub; helping with homework; etc.)  See you at six!” (Or whatever has been agreed to).  Leave them curious and excited!

If for whatever reason they are not interested:

“I want to thank you for your honesty. It is refreshing!  Maybe you can still
help me. We are still looking for a leader/people to try help us get this
powerful message about a new way to market Video Telephone technology that
brings families and business together inexpensively. Do you know anyone who works on a car or even drives a car?  I could really use some support!”

Now… What happens if your sponsor is not available for three way calls and you find it has been 48 hours or longer since you gave them a CD or DVD, and it’s time to call them?

“Lisa?  This is Diane.  I wanted to call to thank you for the time we recently spent together talking about your future.  Also, I wondered if you had ten
minutes to: (visit our website/ listen to a Conference call/ watch this quick
DVD/ or join me on a brief call /webinar Monday (or whatever night) night that features some of the top people in our company talking about the business.)  I can call you and simply let you listen. 

No pressure, I just wanted you to get some more information..  I really want you to see this company and products through your eyes, not just mine.  May I call you at 9:00 Tuesday night for about ten minutes?  Again, no pressure…
just thought you’d enjoy it!”

Listen to the call together. By using the Conference Call as a three-way call, you are effectively
demonstrating to them the power of the three-way calling with the SHARE the business step.  Additional follow up three way calls with the upline team may be necessary as well to continue moving them towards their Decision.

Here is some homework: Practice the three way call with your sponsor or with someone that will help you. LEARN the steps and get comfortable with the process and the do one LIVE with your sponsor.
