6) Let yourself grieve for a bit if you need to do that….call someone who has been there and get some understanding….

7) Get back to work asap….MASSIVELY to replace the one who “got away”…

Home Business success.

There are 7 days to a week, 12 months to a year, and 60 seconds in a minute. This is all part of our life culture, and our life we live. MLM has the same pattern of structure in this industry.

There are 5 basic parts, or steps, that drive the business of MLM and each module has it’s own importance. We will cover all 5 in great detail in PassionFire, and you must become very familiar with the modules. They will bring great success to you and your business, or great frustration, that all depends on YOU.

The parts of MLM have a Power to them that you can make work FOR you….or AGAINST you….that is totally your decision.

Most people in MLM and Network Marketing bring a certain pattern of thinking and living to their business, and these modules dove tail nicely in their pattern of life. And each module has it’s own purpose, and success. Each is a part of the whole, but if worked in sync, then these modules can create a “flow” of work and success in your business that will amaze you.

The Modules.

Ok…what are they?

1) Prospecting
2) Contacting
3) Presentation
4) Next Move
5) Decision

Lets cover them individually.

1) Prospecting

Simply, if you don’t have people to talk to about your products and services, and business, you are unemployed in this industry. You must have people to share your product stories and successes with, so they can become a customer, and maybe a distributor.

Prospecting will be covered in depth in PassionFire, but it all starts with someone to talk to, and someone to share your message with.

2) Contacting

If you know people, and have a list of potential customers and distributors, but you never call them, then you have what I call a “wish list inventory”, as success will only be a wish on your part.

You MUST engage them in conversation and use that as a vehicle to share your message with them. You have made a list of prospects, but now you must have a point of contact with them, and that usually starts with a conversation.

3) Presentation

You now must move forward from the contacting phase and move into the education phase, or the presentation. This will be where you educate them on the company, products, and the business, and do it in a manner that excites them and grabs their attention. All of this you will learn in PassionFire.

You must use the presentation as a way to establish a connection with the prospect to the business or products. Get their questions answered, and here is a secret:

Don’t make the presentation a dissertation. It is NOT to dump everything you know in a single sitting. It is simply to create a level of knowledge and excitement in the prospect so you can move them forward in the process.

4) The Next Move

This is where you decide what the next move will be, and where you go from there. Do they want to try the products and services? Do they want to attend a meeting? Do they want to have a 3 way with your upline? And again, all this will be taught in PassionFire. …

5) Decision.

Here is where you complete your paycheck.

No decision…no paycheck.

You MUST get a decision, no matter what it is, and you will be taught different ways to get a decision in MLM, and very effective ways to persuade softly.

This whole process of Network Marketing is simple, but deadly….first you get someone to talk to, then you contact them, if they have an interest than you educate them, and then see where they are interest wise, and those that do have a solid interest, move to more education, and finally get the decision that is right for them…simple, and deadly in effectiveness..

Phrases are critical.

So is reality.

Most people do not deal with reality in MLM.

They view MLM as something that it is  not and work it as if it was a hobby not a business. That is not the thing that will create success in a home  business.

In reality, most folks in Network Marketing don’t understand that we are in the business of NETWORKING! And we all need to get “out there” and become more visible to the public and even strangers.  

INFERNO Secret:  

Hermits don’t do very well in this business.  

What would happen to your business if you would happen to run across someone that could explode your business, and when you talked to him or her…you blew it by saying and asking the wrong things?  

The answer would be: nothing.  

You would have no change to your business, and no change to your future. Another waste filled conversation dropped in the recruiting abyss of “could have beens”.  

There are so many people out there looking for you! You must find them and talk to them in a way that draws them towards you, and not away!   How do you do that?  

GET OUT THERE AND NETWORK! MEET PEOPLE! GREET PEOPLE! ASK QUESTIONS! GET THEM TALKING! NETWORK! 

But when you do, make sure that you ask questions that are going to “position you” as a professional, not another “Amateur MLMer”.

There is a reason why the first word in Network Marketing is NETWORK! That is what we do!  

You “Work your NET!”  

At the Chamber of Commerce, Trade Shows, Parties, Seminars, Civic Functions…the list is endless…  

Here are some questions that have worked for many and I encourage you to use them when you start your Magnetic Networking:  

1) “What is your connection to the host of this party/conference/meeting?”

2) “How did you get involved with this organization/association/group?”  

3) “Tell me about yourself…”  

4) “Tell me about your family….”  

5) “What is it that you enjoy most about this time of year(season)?”

6) “Who do you know that might want to know how to….”  

7) “Who do you know that might know about recreational activities/restaraunts/sports/events in this area?”  

8) ” Bring me up to date on your family/career/hobby since the last time we chatted….”  

9) “Describe that for me…that sounds interesting…”  

10) “What and who does that involve?”  

11) “That is so interesting…help me understand how that works…”

12) “How did you…meet/come up with that great idea/become interested in becoming an architect/starting your own business?”  

13) “Do you ever read Success and Leadership books?”  

14) “If I were to refer someone to you, what would your perfect customer look like?”

requires NEW CONVERSATION.

Home based business in mlm requires NEW prospectis to talk to.

 What you say at the beginning of a conversation is critical. \

They are known as “Ice Breakers.”

They break the ice and get the conversation going. How you do it and what you say is is critical to your success.

Opening up conversation with people is for many an uncomfortable task. IT shouldn’t be.   Conversation is the secret to this MLM business, and there are 5 very easy ways to open up a conversation with someone that you would like to meet.  

WARNING in MLM.

But I must warn you!  

DON’T come across like you are “up to something”. People will read right through that. Keep your focus on serving the masses with Network Marketing , and helping people solve life problems with your home business and products, and simply wanting to meet a friend you have not met yet.

These ideas are very basic, but few do them when they are out and about.  

Here are 5 ways:  

1) “Compliment them on something they are wearing or carrying”.  

People like to be noticed. Simple and plain. They like to be noticed for what they are “displaying” about themselves. What they are wearing or carrying is telling you a little bit about who they are…I always start a compliment with a question:  

“Would it be ok if I paid you a compliment about something I have noticed about you?”  

Or if it’s a guy….“You know, I don’t give out a lot of compliments, but I like that suit you have on. Very professional. Good cut.”.   This will set up anticipation, and not come across like you are phony, ar insincere which many folks do…they have the wrong intentions when they compliment someone. Plus people will feel good that you noticed!  

2) “Ask for directions”.  

I use to do this all the time when in a mall in a town I was new to. I would ask if they knew were a particular store was, or a place to eat. Then I would say I am from out of town, or new to this neighborhood, and asked if they lived around here.  

Then I would ask them if they had a family,hobby…etc.   Then I would say….“Maybe you can help me…you may know who I am looking for…”  

The POWER Home Business Question.

3) “Ask what they do for a living”.  

One of the most powerful things you can do when Networking, is ask a person “What do you do?”   Then ask another question about what they just said.  

Then ask another question about what they just said…..and you will start finding out about them and who them might know to help you.  

“Gotta card?” is a great way to extend this conversation into a later time.  

4) “Carry a book on Success or Leadership and casually ask people if they have read it”.  

Then ask them if they like to read and if they read Success and Leadership books. If they do, discuss the last one they read, and one they would recommend.

Get them talking about Success and ask them if they are a Student of Success. You will be surprised at the people you meet that are! And looking for a new future!  

5) “Ask for their name after giving yours”.  

This one is so simple, but few do it.  

“Hi, my name is Doug. How are you? I apologize for asking this, what is your name? I have never had the pleasure of meeting you.”  

This is such a simple way to meet people. You even apologize for bothering them for their name, which is a soft way of asking for it, and you almost always get it this way!  

Open up as many conversations as you can, and your business will skyrocket!  

The MLM Standard Ice Breaker.

Oh…here is one final opener:  

Smile.

Look in their eyes.

Nod your head.

Stick your hand out to shake theirs.

And say…”I am sorry, but I have not met you. My name is Larry, I am with Amps Company. May I have your name ?”  

Open your eyes wide..   And SMILE HUGE!

You must be consistent in sales,

Sales are the only thing that creates volume. And volume is a good thing. it is what you get paid on.

You must be consistent in recruiting,

That is how you build your team…and volume…and activity…and of course..long term growth.

You must be consistent in training.

No training, no duplication.

The Home Business Secret.

But you also must be INSISTENT as well.

1) You must Insist to yourself that you will succeed.

2) You MUST insist to yourself you will create a large business.

3) You must insist with people that their life could be better.

No exceptions.

Consistency can be seen, but Insistency can be FELT.

Your prospect will feel your insistency you place on yourself, and respond to that in a positive fashion.

People like to follow people who are insistent that success show up in their life.

If you Insist, people will ASSIST you in your MLM endeavors.

Insisting on Radical Success is what the wealthy do. That is something everyone should learn in MLM>
