Why Do People Struggle in MLM Home Business?

Why Do People Struggle in MLM Home Business?

MLM Network Marketing Training-MLM Success-The 5 Biggest Reasons People Struggle in Network Marketing

The Many Reasons for MLM Failure.

There are many people out in the industry that are having some real struggles in their recruiting efforts, and it seems to be something that is industry wide…

Many people are saying it is the times… the economy… it was September 11… It is harder than it used to be… people have changed… many reasons I have heard…

But in reality, people are people, and always will be, and few things ever change… there seems to be something I have noticed though that is happening that can KILL your recruiting…

It seems to be happening more to the folks that have been in MLM for a while, than the new folks… and it is hurting a lot of paychecks…

There seems to be a poisonous lack of belief in what folks are doing…

And this had me puzzled, as it seems stronger than usual… and today I felt lead to write about this, and why I believe it is happening…

There are 5 basic reasons why folks are struggling today when recruiting, and it does not matter who it is, male or female, or how successful you have been or have not been.

But is also involves not only BELIEF… but also the word EASY…

Recruiting is easy, if you believe it is, and you believe in what you are doing, but if you don’t… then the fruit of that is struggle… and there are many people who use this as an excuse to ever get the results that they want… it is very convenient to but into what others are saying…

Here are the 5 reasons that folks are struggling today in Network Marketing:

1) “Its easier to Believe that it WON’T happen… than it WILL…”

That is so true… many folks fall into the trap of believing what WON’T happen… vs. what WILL… and many are sabotaged by the easier route and effort of believing…

I call it “The Path of Easiest Belief”... the path most take in this industry…

And through Life…

It is easier to hang onto the excuses that we have and believe that recruiting won’t work, than taking the time to GROW ourselves into the level of belief that ATTRACTS Success, vs REPELS it… and when you have that kind of belief, your prospect can feel it radiating from you and your voice… and presence…

Are you taking the EASY Route?

2) “It’s Easier to Believe what is considered Normal than Abnormal…”

Success is abnormal.

Most people in life don’t Succeed… they Succumb… to the Lies from other people… about how you can never build a business in MLM… only the “Lucky Few” ever get to the top… and if you do succeed… it’s abnormal… you are going against the grain…

I prefer to call it “Growing against the Grain”… you must grow beyond those “Normal people” that are holding you back…

Recruiting is a process based on Communication… and your Belief and Conviction of that Communication… and what is considered “Normal” in life…

Is easier to believe in Normal.. than what is considered “Abnormal”…

Are you just Normal… or flat out Abnormal and refuse to believe and succumb to the lies?

3) “It’s easier to believe what you have been told a lot, than told a little…”

“You will never do it.”

“It’s too hard.”

“Recruiting is bugging your friends.”

“You don’t have what it takes.”

“Recruiting and MLM is waste of time… “

“When are you going to get a REAL job?”

That is what we all hear… (smile)… but what we need to hear is:

“You can do it. You have what it takes. Listen to those who have succeeded… not those who have succumbed…”

Are you?

4) “It’s easier to believe in others… than you…”

We when recruiting, believe that others are smarter than we are, more educated than we are, more savvy than we are, and they know more about ourselves than we do… and it impacts our recruiting tremendously…

We have many people who influence us, and we care about… but here is the million dollar question…

Can they take you to where you want to go in MLM?

Or…

Can they STOP you from going where you want to go in MLM?

Both answers are called a CLUE!

5) “It’s easier to LEAVE… than BELIEVE…….”

Most folks don’t stay.

At what they do in life… and Network Marketing

Why?

In recruiting, we take this ‘Leaving” belief with us… as we see most folks leave their success path in most of what they have attempted in life…

It’s easier to create an EXCUSE… than to keep going and create a new BELIEF…… and we fall prey to that in MLM…

Are you recruiting prospects with an EXIT sign in your eyes?

Deep down… are you expecting you will eventually leave this industry , because it is easier to Leave than believe? Do you honestly doubt it will work?

Understand… people FEEL first… then HEAR…

What are your prospects feeling from you? A solid “Hard Core Belief” in what you are doing… or a solid “Path of Easiest Belief” that they are turned off by?

Believe that recruiting is EASY… and Recruiting will be… believe that is it HARD… and it WILL be…

Believing in recruiting may be a little hard for you now…but it is a whole lot easier than struggling through life…the rest of your life… just to be
“Normal”…

Is that what you REALLY want for you and your family and your Network Marketing business?

Your Call…

Blessings…

MLM Opportunities- The Top 7 Things You Need to Look For

7 Things To Look For In An MLM Company

7 Things To Look For In An MLM Company

MLM Network Marketing Training MLM Opportunities- The Top 7 Things You Need to Look For

The MLM Decision.

So, you have decided to jump into the Network Marketing Industry, and join a company. Great Move! It will open up doors in your life that you never knew existed!

But you may be thinking- what do I look for? What should I be asking? What should I be trying to find out?

The first thing you need to do, is ask yourself a question. “What type of product would I like to market? A tangible product, like vitamins? Or would I like a more intangible product like internet malls or legal services?”

Once you decide that, you can have a direction to look towards and decide on.

Then you can start looking at MLM companies and doing some research. Research is KEY to finding out about Network Marketing Companies and what they have to offer. Start looking on the internet, and also call your Better Business Bureau, and see if there have been any complaints about that company.

The questions you should be asking are these:

1) How long has the company been doing business?

Many start up companies will not be around next year. Most MLM companies after three years are gone. If you are looking at a start up company, make sure they are well funded, and have good management to get it through the rough spots typical of MLM start ups. As a general rule, 3 years should be a minimum of considering a company.

2) What is the reputation of the owners and management?

Many great MLM companies that could have been superstar companies are no longer around because of the decisions the owners made. This is true of real estate companies, and any other entreprenurial ventures. Check the owners out. Ask questions, and do some research on them as well. You will be glad you did if they have a past of questionable integrity.

The Million Dollar Network Marketing Question.

3) Do they pay their checks on time?

Find out if they have missed any paycheck. If they have, this is NOT a good sign, and I would suggest to look at another company. This one has some problems you may not want to be a part of in the future.

4) Are people making money?

How many people are truly making money? Many times, hype can blind the truth. Do some research and find out if it is easy to make money with their pay plan, and if a lot of folks are. If many people are, that is a good sign. If it is a start up, and not many are making a lot of money yet, see what kind of compensation plan they have, and if it is “distributor friendly.” If it seems hard to ake money with the plan, then you have some thinking to do. It should be easy to make money in MLM.

5) What kind of market is out there for their products and services?

Here is a litmus test question for products: Would you buy these products outside of Network Marketing? if you would, you have a good product, and probably a great market for it. If you would not, then you need to see what the true size of the marketplace is for the line of prodcuts. And, also, how many other like products are already out in the marketplace? Make sure that the market for the products is big, and available for you to market.

6) What kind of training and tools so they have?

Do their tools look professional? Does the website look like a professional website? Do their brochures, cds, and videos look and sound professional? If you are going to market products using these tools, make sure that they are of the quality that you can be proud of, and readily hand out. What kind training materials do they have? When are the trainings? Do they hold training events? Are there training conference calls and webcasts? Make sure you will have a training path to walk when you join a company.

7) Can you talk to some of the successful folks in the company?

You can tell a lot when looking at MLM companies, by talking to some folks who are successful. Do they try and hype you or honestly interested in your questions? Do they talk about themselves and all they have accomplished or what you can accomplish? Do they answer your questions, or dance around them? This will tell you a lot about what kind of people this company attracts, and what kind of culture that it has in the filed. Talks to at least three-five people. That will give you some feel for the company.

These are some of the things you need to consider when looking at Network Marketing companies. Do your homework, and don’t make a totally emotional decision.

Here is a million dollar question: What does your gut tell you? It is usually right. Especially about Network Marekting and MLM Opportunities.

blessings…doug

MLM Network Marketing Training -The 5 Traits of a GREAT MLM Consultant

mlm five consultant

The MLM Consultant.

Consulting in MLM has gotten to be a big business in Network Marketing. Being one myself, I have found that there are good ones out there, and then there are well, not so good ones. You must know what to look for, before you spend a dime with them.

Many MLM Consultants are actually Network Marketers that say they are consultants. You must understand that consulting is a career and profession that demands many things, but being a Network Marketer does NOT automatically qualify one as an expert. Even if they have had great Success in MLM, that may be due to being in the right place at the right time, with the right people. That happens in Network Marketing often.

Here are the 5 things to look for in a good MLM Consultant:

1)A Track record that is available for Inspection.

Any good consultant, no matter the industry, will keep their track record available for any kind of inspection by a future client. They have nothing to hide, nor do they want to. The results they have accomplished speak for themselves.

Ask them if they have some clients you could talk to, or get some kind of testimonial. Track records in consulting can mean the difference between spending money and getting little, or spending money and getting a lot. Check what they have DONE, not what they said they have done. You will be glad you did.

2)Check for their Credentials.

What kind of solid credentials do they have that would warrant you spending money with them? What kind of education about MLM do they have? What kind of experience do they have in Network Marketing? Do they have the right business experience? Have they ever run a business before? What kind of degree do they have if applicable?

Credentials are important in modern day consulting, and not only for you, but also for the results you seek from an MLM Consultant. Most consultants have a portfolio they can show you. Ask for it, and study it. You will be glad you did.

3)Look for Professionalism.

Professionalism is a MUST in any field of consulting. Do they come across as a professional? Do they speak as a professional? Do they communicate in a professional manner? How do they handle themselves? How do they handle other people?

Do they return phone calls in an efficient manner? Do they keep their phone appointments? Are they prepared for the appointment? Do they follow up in a professional manner? Are they pushy, or have your best interests at heart? Do they come across as honest and with integrity?

Being a professional speaks well of a consultant. But here is the KEY- are they CONSISTENT in all of the above? And do they do it with a smile on their face? These questions will tell a lot about an MLM Consultant and how they will handle things in any future endeavor.

The MLM Consultant Asks the Right Questions.

4)Do they ask questions that are focused on your problem, or questions that are focused on being a consultant?

There are many questions that consultants ask that are all part of being a consultant. You want the kind of QUESTIONS that zero in on the solution to YOUR problem, not what they have learned to ask as a rote exercise. You are looking to hire them to solve a problem, not be a consultant. Make sure their questions are focused on moving you forward, not just creating conversation.

Brutal? Yes, Honest? Totally. MLM Consultants are not cheap, and if you are going to spend money, make sure that you get what you pay for, and get your challenge resolved. That is what MLM Consultants get paid for- to solve problems, not to engage in a fruitless boiler plate exercise.

5)Have they actually spent any time working Network Marketing and understand the culture, the philosophy, and what the REAL dynamics are to create Success in a group, and an MLM company?

I am amazed that there are “consultants” out there that have never spent an hour in the MLM field. They have never recruited anyone. They have never sold a product in MLM. They have never held a Company Event for a team. They have never done a presentation around a kitchen table, or a home meeting. They have never explained an MLM Comp plan to people before, nor do they know how. But yet, they sell themselves as an MLM Consultant.

Make sure that there is SOME experience in the field, as that alone brings a wealth of knowledge that many do not have. It is not easy building a successful MLM group and business.

If you have not done it, then you are coming as an MLM Consultant, from more of a position of weakness than someone who has, and can explain what it took, and how to do it. It makes a lot of difference in understanding the business of MLM as well.

Experience is a MUST and that includes also working in an MLM Company in some form. That can be as simple as being part of an ‘Inner Circle” team that was familiar with the workings of a Network marketing company. Having worked for an MLM Corporation is a big plus as well.

These are the 5 Traits you should look for in an MLM Consultant.

There are more you need to consider, but these are the 5 MAJOR ones when considering MLM Consultants.

Home business and MLM consultants can be worth their weight in GOLD.

MLM Compensation Understanding Your MLM Compensation Plan

Compensation StructureMLM Network Marketing Training – Understanding Your MLM Compensation Plan.

What Is Your MLM Plan?

Money.

That is what drives the MLM industry…the quest for a better life, a better future, and a better income.

Why did you join your Network Marketing company?

For something to do?

Yeah…right.

That is why 99% of all folks who enroll in MLM companies join…for a better lifestyle…and the hope of making more money is what drives the industry…

Every company has a way they pay their distributors, known as a “Compensation Plan”..or “Comp Plan”. Your company has one and that is how you are paid…by the volume you have created by the Comp Plan.

You go out, and create Volume of sales, and you get a certain percentage of the sales. Most plans focus on the sale, or movement of products and services to the marketplace, and that is what drives the wealth vehicle.

There are different types of Comp Plans, and there are many more Hybrid forms…but generally there are 5 different types, and you need to really understand the Plan that your company has.

The 5 Basic Kinds of Compensation Plans.

1) The Stairstep
2) The Unilevel
3) The Binary
4) The Breakaway
5) The Matrix

1) The Stairpstep is a simple plan that has requirements that you must meet to get up the “Stairs of Success”…each stairstep is a promotion based on Volume usually, and each promotion you make more money. Usually you must qualify each month for the rank you obtain to get paid at that rank. And the stairstep usually has a number of levels it pays down to.

2) The Unilevel is a simple “Number of levels” that the company will pay you, and usually there is no promotion or rank. You make money by getting a certain override off of the volume, and usually there is a requirement of volume to qualify for a check.

3) The Binary.

The Binary is an interesting design for a Comp Plan. It usually has 2 “legs” that you can have “Business centers” in, and you have a volume requirement to get paid on each leg. There is what is called “balance” in the Binary…you must balance the volume form each leg to make sure you don’t have a runaway leg…one leg explodes, while the other one sits idle…you must balance the two, and you usually can override the same volume a number of times with different business centers.

4) The Breakaway.

This plan has become somewhat unpopular in the MLM industry, as you lose the business you build, once it gets to a certain level of success, and it “breaks away” to no longer be a part of what you get paid on. It usually is a stairstep type of Plan, but I have seen it in others as well.

5) The Matrix

The matrix is a computer driven plan that people are put into your group by computer, and they go in the next available slot. Usually this plan is combined with some form of a Binary, and it does work well if there are a lot of people that are recruited. When you recruit someone, the computer searches down for the next open slot, and positions them there. There are some plans that allow you to override the computer’s selection if you want them to go a particular place in your downline.

Don’t Complicate the MLM Comp Plan.

Ok…so now you must see what kind of plan you have…see your upline if you have any questions at all, and get familiar with the plan you have and how it works.

INFERNO Secret:

DO NOT get too complicated on telling the plan to someone. Keep it simple and make sure they understand that they CAN MAKE MONEY with it…as that is their greatest concern.

Generally, when you talk about a Comp Plan, you will want to mention 4 general areas about it that many people will want to know about….

1) The First area is Retail Profit.

You must show the prospect that they can earn a retail profit with your products and services…usually it about 50%…

2) The Second Area is Team Overrides.

This is where, just like a Real Estate broker, or Insurance Broker, you can develop a team of Reps and help them become successful, and get paid a certain % of override off of them, just like the Real Estate and Insurance Brokers do.,,,,,

You are sort of a “Master Broker” for your company, and help others do the same thing. This is where most people have trouble with MLM….they don’t understand that what we do is just like a Real Estate or Insurance Broker…only better.

3) The Third Area is Leadership Bonuses.

This is where you help develop Successful leaders in your group, and you get an additional bonus or override form your group….you get rewarded by helping others develop their Leadership….the most fair compensation in the world.

4) The Fourth Area are Rewards…like trips and cars.

This area is a favorite among Network Marketers…..once you have reached a level of success, many companies will give you an additional car payment money, and also take you on trips that you can qualify for…a great incentive to work!!!

Be sure you understand the components of your Comp Plan…this was just a VERY General Overview, and that is all.

Again…..KEEP THE PLAN SIMPLE.

The More Simple you keep it, the more powerful it becomes in your MLM Business.

Blessings…

How Do I Get My MLM Home Business On the Internet?

How To Get Your MLM Business On The Internet

How To Get Your MLM Business On The Internet

MLM Network Marketing Training-How Do I Get My MLM Business On the Internet?

The MLM Website Question.

In fact, many people are even asking the question whether they should have a website. Whether you are a consultant, florist, designer, builder, architect or a doctor, consider the many advantages a website provides:

1. Make money – Set up an on-line store or get paid for advertising from other companies

2. Save money on advertising – Instead of paying for large ads, simply advertise your website

3. Be flexible in your message Change the content as your business changes. No need to re-print expensive brochures.

4. Exposure to new customers – You will reach more local clients as well as interstate and global markets

5. Having more professional image – Keep up with the times and your competitors

6. Save time
– Don’t spend hours on the phone, direct customers to your website

7. Keep your business open 24/7 – Provide customers information when THEY need it. If you don’t, someone else will.

So what does it really take to get your website set up?

The Network Marketing Website Secrets.

Step 1 – Register Your Domain Name OR Not.

The big question is whether you need to register a domain name or not. The simple answer is NO, but a better answer is YES it is a good idea.

What Is a Domain Name?

The purpose of a domain name is similar to that of a street address or telephone number. The domain name directs customers to you on the Internet. The domain by itself is not your email or web address. The domain does form the base from which these addresses are derived.

For example:
Company Name: Websites 4 Small Business
Domain Name: web4business.com.au
Web Address: http://www.web4business.com.au
Email Address: sales@…

Do I Need to Register a Domain Name to Have a Website?

NO, you don’t need to have your own domain name. Your website can be created and hosted without it. Your website address will look something like this:

http://www.web4business.com.au/JBCleaning
OR
http://www.ozemail.com.au/~JBCleaning

The only advantage of not registering a domain name is that you will save yourself A$70 per year (it costs approx A$140 for 2 years to register a ‘.com.au’ domain name).

The Disadvantages of NOT Having Your MLM Domain Name Include:

1. If you decide to change your Webhosting company or if that company goes out of business, you will lose your website address. Your website can be transferred to a new company, but your address will change. And that means re-printing stationery and re-doing all your advertising, notifying all your customers etc.

2. Website addresses that contain information other than your company name are long and hard to remember and do not appear as professional. Compare these two and see which one you are more likely to remember:

http://www.ozemail.com.au/~JBCleaning
OR
http://www.JBCleaning.com.au

So it is a good idea to register an MLM website domain name, even if it is just to protect yourself for the future. Say for example, your business name is JB Cleaning and you decide not to register your domain name for now.

Along comes Joe Bloggs who opens his own cleaning business and registers JBCleaning.com.au domain name. After a year you decide you want to have your own domain name, but since Joe Bloggs already owns it, you won’t be able to register it. Not to mention your customers who know your business as JB Cleaning may visit his website, thinking it’s your web address and instead hire Joe Bloggs Cleaning.

Step 2 – Plan your MLM website.

Planning Your Website Is a Two Part Process:

(a) Decide on the website design (colour schemes, buttons, special effects etc). This is your website designer’s job. However, you may have a preference for a certain colour or look. To help you choose a design, you may wish to check out other people’s websites or work with your web designer’s pre-set templates.

(b) The content. There are many items you may wish to include on your website. The most common ones include:

1 Product/Service Details
2. Contact Information
3. Pricing
4. Testimonials
5. Frequently Asked Questions
6. Response Form, such as “Join Mailing List”
7. On-line Magazine or Newsletter
8. Resources & Articles
9. Guarantee
10. Survey
11. Events Calender
12. Search My Website Form
13. Refund Policy
14. Privacy Policy
15. About Us Information
16. Site Map
17. Copyright information
18. Useful Links
19. Media Information
20. On-line store
21. News
22. Directions to Your Bricks & Mortar Premises

Step 3 – Choose a Web Hosting Company.

What is a Web hosting Company?

A Web host is a company that provides server space for your Network Marketing website. You can think of a web host as a commercial building. The web host provides space for your website just as a commercial building provides space for your shop or office. You can build your own building and you can host your own website, but because of the cost and expertise required it is easier to rent the space. We recommend taking a look at these cheap dedicated servers that can help your business get organized.

Which Company Should I Choose?

Web hosting companies are not created equal so you need to take a number of things into account when selecting one. A proven track record, experience and reliability form the foundation of any successful business partnership.

The MLM Website Issues.

Some of the issues you should consider when choosing a webhosting company include:

1. Support – Does it provide comprehensive Technical Support – 24 hours a day, seven days a week?
2. Reliability – Does it have multiple large-scale links to the internet to provide a fail-safe path to your customers from anywhere in the world?
3. Security – Does it have a robust security system that minimises risk of web site intrusion?
4. State-of-the-art – Does the company utilises leading edge technology and is supported by a large-scale uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system.
5. Scalability – Does the product range and services offered allow your business to grow without impediment by making it easy to upgrade and add components to existing product levels.

Step 4 – Getting People to Your Site.

The marketing of your website is important if you want to draw visitors to your site. If you don’t promote your website no-one will ever see it. There are a number of different ways of advertising your website. The best strategy is one, which integrates your existing promotion methods with your website.

1. Office Stationery – Including your web address and email address on your stationery is probably the easiest way to draw attention to your site. It’s cost effective and gets your Internet presence out there in the market place.

2. Business Cards – When printing business cards you should include the individual’s email address and main address of your website.

3. Radio Advertising
Radio Advertising should include your web address. Don’t include the http://, try “Visit us on the internet at w-w-w-dot-qikphone-dot-com-dot-au”. If your budget is limited, you may wish to consider community radios.

4. Email and Mail-Outs
Let your current customers know the details of your website. You can either send them an email or a letter/postcard. Keep your website’s content up-to-date and they will keep coming back!

5. Print Media
Print advertising should include a generic email address for the company and include your website address. Normally positioned at the bottom right or bottom centre of your advertisement.

6. Search Engines & Directories

People looking for your website who don’t know the URL are most likely to use an on-line search engine to look for your organisation or the kind of products and services you offer. There are over 300 major search engines and directories, but you should concentrate on the larger, more commonly used ones. These include: Google, Yahoo, Altavista, Anzwers, Inktomi, Infoseek, Lycos, Excite, HotBot, MSN, Dogpile, AllTheWeb etc.

7. Links from other MLM websites

A good way to attract visitors to your site is through the use of hyperlinks placed on other sites. If you know of another site which has a list of links and you think your website would be a good addition, let the website owner know. You might also offer to provide a link from your site back to the other site. This will encourage the webmaster to include your site. You should also seek out partners for trading links including vendors, suppliers and providers of complimentary products.

8. Link Exchange
Another way to getting a link is through a system called Link Exchange, a free public service designed to help websites advertise each other. With Link Exchange, you agree to display advertising banners for other Link Exchange members and they agree to display banners for you. The System is automatic, you simply add a piece of HTML code to your web page and Link Exchange will display an advertisement for another website. The disadvantage with Link Exchange is that you don’t get any control as to where your banner ad appears or the type of banner ads that will appear on your website. It is not possible to guarantee that a competitor of yours may have their banner ad displayed on your site.

9. Paid Banner Advertising/Affiliate Marketing Programs

Various sites give you the opportunity to purchase banner advertising on their site. Some sites will charge you a flat monthly fee while other sites will charge you based on the number of people who see your ad.

Step 5 – Monitor Your Site’s Statistics

Your MLM website’s statistics should show who visits your website, where in the world they come from, how they are finding your site and what pages are being viewed. Knowing your customers is the first step in effective marketing. Most webhosting companies will provide access to this information free of charge.

Step 6 – Maintaining Your MLM Website

It is important to update your website regularly to keep your customers interested. One of the great advantages of having a website is that you can change its content virtually overnight at minimal cost (unlike re-printing brochures and flyers).

This is just a brief overview of the process involved in getting your website up and running. In future articles we will cover each step in more detail.

MLM Network Marketing Training- RE-INVENTING THE COLD CALL: THE MOVIE STAR WAY!

By Mr. Cold Call

The MLM Secrets. In my office, I have a fabulous collection of framed autograph pictures of movie stars like Harrison Ford, Jack Nicholson, Farah Fawcett, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Drew Barrymore and even talk show host Jerry Springer (I’m a former employee of the show). Those who enter my office for the first time, both business contacts and friends, say, “WOW! How did you get those pictures!”

You should see their eyes and how they light up like a light bulb. I’ll tell you one thing; it’s a great ice-breaker! Keep reading. Then I thought to myself,  “Mr. Cold Call, what a great idea!”

Are you asking yourself, what is he talking about?” Then it hit me, my signature technique, The Mr. Cold Call Movie Star Technique™ was born. This technique is part of my non-traditional view on cold calling and sales prospecting called “The Mr. Cold Call Approach™.It blends humor, creativity and persistence to get a hold of C-Level and Senior Level Prospects. The Mr. Cold Call Movie Star Technique™ involves recognizing people who have been either pictured or quoted in an online or offline medium.A few more detailed examples include the following: ·

People On The Move Sections ·         Industry Leaders profiled on a website or in a newspaper or magazine ·           Names mentioned in advertisements ·           Awards found in press releases ·           Management listed on company websites Why contact these people for MLM?

This approach helps to reduce and remove your prospect’s level of resistance. It helps to making the dreaded task of cold calling actually FUN and something to look forward to each day! You will find that utilizing this approach helps to change your prospects attitude in a more favorable way. I mean people buy from people they like and people love to buy. Also, why wouldn’t these people take your call? I mean, who doesn’t like to being recognized? We all want our 15 minutes of fame right? This philosophy ties into Andy Warhol’s most famous words, “In the future everybody will be famous for 15 minutes!”

So, I’m proposing that anyone in sales seriously consider using my Mr. Cold Call Movie Star Technique™.So let me guess, you are really excited now right? What now? How do you get started for MLM? Keep reading.Great sources to find these leads include your local newspaper, a local or national magazine or even your local business journal! Be creative in your search, use google.com or yahoo.com to locate specific opportunities to find additional leads. You will never have any problem finding these types of leads and you will never run out of places to look. That’s another reason why I love this approach, the opportunities are endless! One of most strategic places to begin your search is to visit PRnewswire.comm.

What exactly is this site and why use it? PR Newswire is a press release service that companies use to distribute their news to large media outlets. What’s great about this site is that you can search over 50 industries, search by state, search over 40 subjects and even search by keyword. Since, breaking news may affect your industry, especially in the areas of prospecting for new business, you find important leads such as: ·

Personnel Announcements (if there is a promotion, maybe they are expanding the department ·           New Contracts ·           Acquisition, mergers and takeovers ·         New products and services ·           Real Estate Transactions ·           Awards ·           Joint Ventures

All of these areas mentioned above are opportunities for you to contact these companies to see if they may need your products and/or services. It’s an opportunity to be a creative thinker, it’s an opportunity to use a creative approach to win a sales prospect, it’s an opportunity to standout amongst a crowded room of sellers. Welcome to my world. The question that you may now be asking, “How do you open the call using my technique?”

Keep reading.Let’s say for example you do a search, and you come across a press release on a new product that will be introduced on a national scale in the next few months. The prospect that you may be calling may already be working with your competiton, however, you don’t know that for sure right? In business, you are either proactive or reactive; my advice is it’s better to be proactive. It’s easy to say someone else has called on them, but I can guarantee you that you no one has approached them in this way! Thus, when you use my approach your prospect will remember you so that when you do call back they won’t forget how creativity you were in contacting them. This will give you a strategic advantage in case they are not happy with their current vendor. Those that excel at selling do so by thinking out-of-the-box. What a better way to think creatively then by using my Mr. Cold Call Movie Star Technique™?

The MLM Cold Calling Script.

When you contact this prospect try saying the following, “Yes, I’d like to speak to the movie star (use their name here)?” Your prospect will most likely laugh and say something like, “Movie star, ha-ha, that’s me!” My name is ………and I work for (list your company here) and we specialize in …………..and I saw your name mentioned in a press release issued the other day.

Your prospect will say something like, “Yeah, we issued that the other day.” You then say, “I actually didn’t think you would take my call?” They then respond, “Why is that?” You then say, “I thought you would be out signing autographs!” Your prospect will find this very funny and then you continue to go on (while they are laughing) with your sales pitch. Here you can state the reason for your call and that you have some creative ideas that you wanted to run past them that would help to compliment their existing marketing program (just one example).

This technique works great either on live call or just as effective on voicemail. In many instances, I have found that when you leave a voicemail message, they end up playing your message for their entire office. What a compliment! Keep in mind that your sales prospect gets tons of voicemails, why not be a little different right? Okay, so you want an example voicemail now? You can’t wait right? Let’s take the same example above and try saying the following on a voicemail, “Movie star (list their name), I didn’t expect you to take my call, you’re probably out signing autographs. This is Daniel Arenzon calling from (list your company) and I saw your name mentioned in an article about your new product that will be introduced in the next few months. When you get back from your autograph sessions can you call me back at (list your phone number) I wanted to run a few ideas by you that your competition is not doing and that you could be doing to increase market share of this product. I’ll be expecting your call today, thank you!”

I have never received a negative response using this technique. Every sales prospect loves it and they always tell me how creative I am. What they are really saying is that I want to do business with you! One more thing, have I said how much I LOVE USING THIS TECHNIQUE! Have I made it clear how much MY PROSPECTS LOVE TAKING MY CALL! Why?

BECAUSE IT”S SO DIFFERENT! Being different is a necessary element that will separate you from others who contact the same prospects. I encourage you to use my soon to be famous, MR. COLD CALL MOVIE STAR TECHNIQUE™.I suggest that you give this technique an honest try. When I say a good try, I mean devote a few hours each day for an entire week. This is just one of many creative techniques that I teach in my Mr. Cold Call Teleseminars.

Mr. Cold Call has developed a series of non-traditional cold calling and sales prospecting strategies to effectively reach key business decision makers such as CEO’s, VP’s, Directors and Business Owners. His techniques have been tested and proven as a result of making over 80,000cold calls working for companies such as CBS MarketWatch, Futures Magazine and Dartnell Publishing. MR. COLD CALL has been quoted and featured in a variety of sales publications including an audio program produced by Selling Power Magazine called, “Accelerate Your Sales.” Arenzon has personally spoken at companies such as Brown & Bigelow, Smith Barney, UBS, Inter-Tel, First Southern Bank, Merrill Lynch, Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell Realtors, Apricot Office Supplies & Furniture, New York Life Insurance, American Express, Pre-Paid Legal Services, New England Financial, A.G. Edwards, Morgan Stanley and Docutek Imaging Solutions

MLM Success Training / MLM Leadership Training / MLM Recruiting

Home Business Training -MLM Recruiter? MLM Sponsor? MLM Baby Sitter? MLM Mentor?…..

home business baby sitter
home based business baby sitter

Home business training

is a MUST.

That is Priority One.(CLUE!!!!)
You must get them trained… a recruiter rarely takes the time for that because recruiters are focused on recruiting, not growing… signing them up, not growing them up… a Leader always grows people…

INFERNO Secret:

Growing people produces the biggest harvest in this MLM business…. (CLUE!!!!!!)

Be a great sponsor and take your new distributors where they want to go, but remember to also take them to the level of success you want them to lead them to…

3) The MLM Baby Sitter
Ahhh…… this is the sponsor who does everything for their downline, and completely disables their distributors and cripples their growth…

You want to do it all… you don’t think anyone can do it as good as you, and so, you do it all… and what happens

INFERNO Secret:
Baby Sitting creates a downline of babies… they never grow into their greatness in this business… they crawl through this business… and eventually out of it…

You as a Leader must become a great sponsor… but understand there is a HUGE difference between Sponsoring someone…. and Spoon Feeding them….

Create a GROWTH environment… not a Kindergarten….

As you mature your people in this business… so matures your business ultimately…

4) The MLM Mentor
This is the Pinnacle of the Role you play in the development of your Leaders… but here is a tip…

 INFERNO Secret:

Mentor those who DESERVE it… not those who DESIRE it….

Your ultimate goal as a sponsor is to create a non-stop success machine. The only way you can do that is to choose 4-5 people in your group to mentor for greatness…

Choose people who have really stepped up to the bat and proven they are SERIOUS about their building this business… make sure they have shown you that they are worthy of you taking them under your wing and paying very special attention to them…
Take them under your wing for a year and solidify and grow them into their greatness… not by totally building it for them, as there are some things they must learn from experience, but totally supporting them in all phases of their business and growth through training, building, supporting, and BEING THERE for them... and creating an extraordinary relationship that will last a lifetime…

Mentoring is not for the weak-hearted…..

it takes effort, discipline, a lot of caring…. and also a ton of giving on your part…
You will have trying times, just like in any relationship… but you must understand that if you mentor a select few folks, they can create an enormous business with you, and will be maximized in this industry… and will stay with you during the tough times… (and there will be some…)

   The Recruiter grows “In-discouragement”…

   The Sponsor grows Independence…

   The Baby Sitter grows Dependence…

   The Mentor grows Interdependence…

INFERNO Secret:
The Power of MLM lies in Interdependence…..

And, it is true….

Home business reality:

There are many Leadership factors involved in building a downline, but none are more frustrating than the roles a Leader can play when recruiting and engaging a new person in this business…

We have a tendency to go from one extreme to the other… ignoring the new person to practically living with them… and everything in between…

There are 4 basic “leading” roles that you establish with your new person. As a Leader, you may move through all of these roles with each person you bring into your MLM organization.

   1) The Recruiter…
   2) The Sponsor…
   3) The Baby Sitter…
   4) The Mentor…

1) The MLM Recruiter
So what exactly IS the difference between a recruiter and a sponsor?

INFERNO Secret:

I have always taught that recruiting is getting them in and sponsoring is keeping them in. One is a defined process for getting them signed up; the other is growing their greatness in this business…

I never really got into a hairsplitting term… call it what you want… but understand…

Network Marketing Recruiting is the Process of getting to the point of being their sponsor and a lot people who recruit folks in this business forget the sponsor part….

MLM Recruiting
can be simply running the numbers, but that is how the average distributor does it…. A Leader recruits to become a great sponsor and to build a long term relationship… recruiting is the first phase of the Leader Role,….

2) The MLM Sponsor… is the second.
When you have recruited them into your business, now you are their sponsor…

INFERNO Secret:

There is a reason why the word sponsor and responsibility have the same root word… it is your responsibility to become the Leader they need to create an environment for greatness…. and for creating independence in your people.

ALL great Leaders in this industry have mentored a select few special people in their downline to extreme success… in MLM and Network Marketing for a successful Home Based Business.

Home Business Training-The Three Focuses

home business focus

home business focus

Home business is a great profession.

Home Based business owners need many things.

They need time.

They need drive.

They need effort.

They need also FOCUS.

There are three focuses you can have on working this great business. Each one will bring you success, but only one will truly create momentum.

And in this Nugget, I want to share with you the way to ignite a fire of success in your business and drive it to the heights of any success you seek!!!!

The First MLM Focus is:

1) “RETAILERS”

This will create a steady paycheck for you and will move a lot of product. Retailing can be a slower way to work this business, but many people are happy with an extra $1,000.00 a month and want no more.

This group of folks are the majority of people who WORK MLM, not play with it. They are PRODUCT-focused, and that is what they take to the marketplace… products and a story to tell.

If you want a steady paycheck, make sure you have retailers and lots of them.

The Second MLM Focus is:

2) “BUILDERS”

These are the people in your group who “see” the big picture and know that it is BUILDING a business that will create volume and bigger paychecks.

Builders understand that recruiting is of HUGE importance, and they recruit retailers, as well as other builders. Builders also understand that with this focus, they are focused on the Business PROCESS… not just the PRODUCTS.

Builders see a longer term business as well… with big volume and big paychecks.

The Third MLM Focus is…

3) “DRIVERS”

This is the group that “gets it.” They understand that in order to create momentum, you must DRIVE the business, not just build it. They are not focused on products, nor process, but POWER. The Power that emerges from a clear vision of the future. And they focus on recruiting builders and other drivers.

Retailing and Building are ACTION focused.

Drivers are MINDSET focused… and go after the picture they hold in their mind of what they want out of life, and will not be denied in any way, shape or form.

The 3 Big Traits of Drivers are:

  1. “Relentless pursuit.”
  2. “Build people, not just a business.”
  3. “Leadership… and it shows in all they do.”

Drivers are also focused on WEALTH creation, not just a paycheck.

It is the Dream of a larger lifestyle for themselves and their team that drives them. They understand one phrase… and have it engraved on their heart:

“Whatever it takes.”

The Million Dollar Network Marketing Question:

Retailer?

Builder?

Driver?

You decide what you want this business to give you… and you will find your focus in MLM and Network Marketing Home based business!
