3) Share information with people that most do not know about and you can be seen as the “Revealer.”

There is so much great content out on the web. Find the little known information on obscure blogs and posts, and videos and especially in NICHES. Get to know the  bloggers and writers. Do not send out the same information that has been out there. Be fresh-and new and unique. Be seen as the ‘go to person” when new information in your niche is added. Take the time to do this-it pays off.

4) Recognize the contribution and conversation of others and make sure you PARTICIPATE.

Attention is a hook. It is what hooks people to take a further look.  What is YOUR hook?
Make it that you appreciate and recognize the efforts of all in the conversation. Don’t placate, but admire. Don’t kiss up, but step up and say what is of Value and what has HELPED YOU personally.

5) Come up with a phrase, hook, logo, icon, or avatar that is magnetic.

Many people have a phrase that they repeat over and over. Or a hook that works- copyblogger. Or a logo that is unforgettable. Or an avatar of you that makes people take a second look.

Do you ever struggle with contacting people in social media for your home business?

Do you ever have to think of something rto say and not look foolish when contacting people for your network marketing business?

Is there a favorite line that you use in social media to open up conversation?

Many people make some mistakes in their quest for opening up conversations with people in the social sites. They often say and do things that turn people off. What are some of the reasons that people do say things that do NOT work?

They are 1 of 3 things:

a. Too anxious.
b. Too cocky.
c. Too timid.

There must be a balance between the three. You cannot come across as you are talking to them as if you WANT something from them. Thye will sense that. It is even that way on mobile devices as well. You CANNOT be focused on getting something from them. You must be focused on GIVING something to them.

People want to know you are not “after” something but are putting your own interests after them.
Many folks are way too aggressive in their approach and in their communication. RELAX. Take the pressure off.

Opening Lines in social media should be friendly, encouraging, and magnetic. And they should FEEL friendly, and be cordial.

Here are three rules for opening Lines that we have found that works and works well:

1) Focus 100% on something the prospect has done or said.
2) Seek friendship -NOT a distributorship.
3) Be brief and warm and take pains to RELAX the person you are reaching out to.

Oh- and don’t come across like you have “agenda” on your forehead. That is NOT a good thing as you probably have found out already.

Here are 7 ways to reach out to people and relax them as well as draw them to you:

1) “Glad to see you here-how long have you been on this social site?”

This is a generic opening line that will work with almost anyone. Keep it focused on finding out about them-not selling them. Ask questions and then ask more.

2) “I recently ran across a post of yours and loved it.”

You create in influence that way. You are seen as someone “who gets it.” You are seen as a learner.
You are seen as “the next generation.” Than others will be promoting you as a way of saying thanks. BE ENCOURAGING- no matter what.

3) “Here is a post that I thought you would appreciate on ——”

This is a great way to open up a conversation. Go to their profile. Research it. Find a post in their interest. Then share it with them.

4) “ I see you know about ——may I ask you a question-maybe you can help me.”

People love being asked about their authority niche. Make it a sincere question. Let it be a simple one to answer. Thank them for any and all comments..

5) “You and I are friends with —-and thought that we should connect…”

Find people that you both have in common. Tap into other people’s friends or followers. Share a commonality from the very start. Let the common connection birth another one

6) “WOW! You have a great looking blog! Love the look. Did you design it yourself?”

People with blogs- visit them. Comment on them. Promote their content. Share the link on other sites. Ask their input on their blog about a post they wrote. They will do the same for you.

7) “I see we have <             >  in common as an interest. Would love to learn from you.”

People love to be seen as a teacher. This elevates their image. It also elevates their interest in you.
It also elevates your communication IMPACT with them.

MLM Building an Unstoppable Downline.

In 2007, I sent out an email with this article in it. It got a lot or response and I wanted to share this “ClassicFire” article with you about building a team. I think it will help you and you will enjoy it.

Folks today in Network Marketing and home business are selling their downline short in what they can actually accomplish in a big way. It seems that :

1) Most leaders do not Dream BIG enough to geet them or their team excited.

2) Most Leaders do not think Empowered enough to move their team to greater heights.

3) Most Leaders think Enough…is Enough…when it’s not enough and not even close to being enough.

And because of this lack of Power and Energy in their Mindset and Heartset, their downline falls to the words of negative Folks who only want to stop their Success and Team building due to jealousies, and fears within themselves. Aand with the team members never knowing the greatness that lies within THEM – you as a Leader need to expose and grow that greatness in your people one day at a time and one conversation at a time.

The First thing you need to do as a powerful team building Leader to build an unstoppable and BIG downline is called:

Establishing Expectancy.

People have a tendency to rise to the level of what is expected of them if it is articulated as well as made clear of what you want to happen.

But, it must be:  An Expectancy with Magnetic POWER, and Massive Purpose in it, and driven by a Pure Passion, and Blueprint Plan.

How do you Establish Expectancy? So simple but rarely is it ever done…you simply have a “Starting Point meeting” with them, and say.:

” I see great things in you, and even if you don’t see them now, you will…Lean on my vision as yours develops, and we will grow into it together. I expect you to be very successful in this business, and I know you will surprise yourself down the road at what you will accomplish…I believe in you….and if you don’t, lean on my belief while yours grows, and we will travel this road together…I expect you to Let you become successful, and not hold yourself back like most do in this business…We are going to think big, and do big! Fair enough?”…

This is what we call Igniting the Success Spark and the Possibility of Unstoppable Progress in building your team.

Once you have met with your group or new team member, and set their goals, and find out what their dreams are and set a plan of action,(this is another training for later) then you must do what we call— “Unstop the Unstoppable”. 

Most people “Stop Up” their “Ability Pipeline” by clogging it up with the scum of Doubt, Self Sabotage, and Fear which all are Leadership Cancers

To Unstop the Unstoppable, you utilize what we at PassionFire call the “5 P’s of Building an Unstoppable Downline…”This comes after you establish what you expect from you folks

The 5 P’s are:

1) Place.

You must place the seed of Greatness and Success in your groups minds and heart as a Leader. You must do that from the start, by verbalizing it, and constantly keeping it in the forefront of their mindsMost have never heard the phrase..”There is greatness inside of you!”..use it fluently.

2) Plant.

Once you have placed, you plant and grow it, by watering it with Belief, Recognition of Effort, and Encouragement that builds the seed and sprouts even stronger…a seed that has been planted will grow accorsding to it’s environment…make it a growth environment1

3) Promote.

You must promote the Attempts and even the smallest success to the group as a whole…in Public, On Conference Calls, and in Writing, Everywhere and All the Time…why?

Secret: Once a Public Recognition happens, others will want to become a part of that as well, and will rise to the level of expectancy. People will do more for recognition than money…Thats Leadership 101.

4) Empower.

Once you have set the Tone and pace for the group to grow, you must Empower your group by using the word “unstoppable.’ You are becoming unstoppable. We are becoming unstoppable. The momentum is becoming unstoppable. And if it still a ways off. “I can see on the Horizon we are nearing the Unstoppable Phase.” Empower your people with the Word, and Having a Virtual Unstoppable Attitude and Focus and Presence about you, they will catch on if you “own it,” they will see it, and start to see the Power that truly lies within themselves..

5) Progress.

Once your group has “bought in” or “enrolled” in the Unstoppable Vision, then it’s time to pour the Kerosene of Leadership on the Flame of Success by creating a virtual FireStorm of Events that demands activity, and creates every opportunity possible for exposure to your business for you people. Hold a recruiting “special event “once a week for 6-8 weeks, and create a major sense of urgency and if they have enrolled into becoming an ” Unstoppable Starter”(did you catch that?)…they will pick up the ball and run with it.

By duplicating your Unstoppable Focus and Mindset and Business, and sharing the
same principle and ideals with their new people…But you must Place and Plant
first

Secret: Most Leaders set their distributors up to Fail…not to Succeed. Success starts with an Expectancy of growing to become Unstoppable. No Expectations…No Realizations.

Unstoppable is something YOU first must Buy Into. Before you can ask others to take ownership in, you cannot give away to your group what you don’t own.

Make a list…of the 5 things that could stop you and then on a separate page make a list of the reasons why they will NEVER stop you -then tear one of the papers up. There is your destiny.

Do you have targets set for your social media work in your home business?

What do you think of goals for your network marketing business? are they important?

What about developing a social media PLAN that will work?

Today I want to talk to you about Social Media Success and TARGETING with your home business. There are many ways to do that, and many ways NOT to do that. But most never set social targets goals. they just wing it.

I would suggest that you not only set social media mlm target goals, but set them WEEKLY.

Even with Mobile, you need to set some form of PLAN and TARGETS at least to know if you are getting close to the mark of Success, we also suggest you to search for commercial mailboxes for sale and get one for your business.

Here are 4 quick tips on how to create a powerful success with your home business in social media:

1. Set Social Targets.

I would suggest that you know how many new twitter followers you want to get a week or month. Set goals for Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube, and any other site that is in your niche. This will empower you to FOCUS your business and start building a huge following. Put a plan together that you do DAILY for 15 minutes. It will make a HUGE difference as 15 minutes is all it takes. BE VISIBLE- but plan on how that will happen. Whether we like it or not, an abundance of followers equals credibility on social media platforms like Instagram. Luckily, there’s plenty of companies like Upleap that can help you get more Instagram followers.

2. Develop a Social Target Plan.

HOW are you going to get the new goal you just set for twitter? HOW are you going to get the new friends on facebook, Pinterest, and Google+? You MUST put a plan together in order to obtain your social goals.

In my last post, “Developing a Social Media PLAN,” we talked about developing a PLAN that works. I suggest that you read it and learn how to set a Social Plan.

 3. Create an “EmotiveBranding.”

This is what you are PASSIONATE about and a brand in social media that evokes an emotion and MOVES PEOPE towards you. It can be 5 words. It can be a sentence. It can be a phrase. But what are YOU Passionate about in your home business? Emotionalize that aspect and create a Brand theme that will draw people towards you and your business. make yourself UNFORGETTABLW with our social brand.

 4. Put your website and blog on SUCCESS STERIODS.

Your website is your office and living room. It is your neon sigh saying “This is WHO I AM!” Is it saying what you want? Make sure your keywords are tight as well as relevant. Make sure that your back links are building. Make sure that you use ALL media on your website or blog, not just text. make sure that you are interactive and have GREAT content people want to read. This includes video and audio. Offer something FREE to your visitors. Do these things and you will see a huge difference in your traffic and people asking about you.

Set some goals NOW for your Social Targets for facebook, twitter, and LinkedIn. Put them in writing. NOW START engaging them in your mlm network marketing home based business.

What is your PLAN for your network marketing business?

Are you looking for a Social Media PLAN for your mlm?

You MUST have a “road,” “path,” or “blueprint” to engage in any successful venture in
your home business.

As it is often said, “If you fail to plan, then all you are doing is planning to fail.”

That is so true.

So understand that a PLAN is very important in Social Recruiting for 3 reasons:

1. It FOCUSES you and keeps you on track.

2. It increases your AWARENESS to DO SOMETHING that works.

A PLAN is worthless if it is not WORKED. That is why that Scott and I decided to offer his plan, but make it very adaptable to what you feel you can do. Many will not do all what he does on a daily basis.

That is OK.

But the one thing that it will do is GET YOU GOING and keeps you in movement.

Motion is IMPORTANT in a PLAN, but Movement is IMPERATIVE.

This PLAN will move you towards more leads, more candidates, more recruiting,
and more business.

The word P.L.A.N actually is a MAP, (Massive Action Plan) or contains a LIST of Actions that will MOVE YOU FORWARD, step by step, in Social Recruiting.

What Does P.L.A.N. Stand For?

P.L.A.N stands for:

P = Prospects a Day.

This is how many prospects you want to find a day in social media. This allows you to pick
the numbers that WORK FOR YOU. Scott’s numbers may be a bit aggressive for you,
but then maybe not. You may want to UP YOUR SOCIAL GAME and get in with
the big boys and girls of recruiting. Prospects are the LIFE BLOOD of this business. Make a Decision that you will make a goal to obtain a certain number of prospects daily and DO IT.

L = Listening.

This is Social Listening and Looking for potential prospects utilizing social media online software. There are more Listening strategies, but you can start by using:

Google Alerts,  www.socialmention.com, www.backtype.com, (just acquired by  twitter) www.search.twitter.com, and www.scour.com. This will help you determine who is talking about your brand, your topic, and product niche you are marketing.

The people talking about those things are the people that you need to connect with. CONNECT with the people who are talking about your niche. Keep an ongoing list
of the prospects that you want to follow, friend, and connect with from Listening. THAT alone can lead you to unlimited and incredible contacts.

A = Actions Taken.

These are the daily actions that you take in social media to create the High Quality Exposure you seek to potential candidates. These include posts, comments, videos, tweets, connection requests, friend requests, instant messaging, texting, joining new groups,
creating new groups, creating social blitz ads, writing facebook notes, and any
other action you take in social media that will create NEW Connections, Conversations,
Presentations, and Conversions.

N = New Connections.

These are the new connections and conversations that you start, with new social
candidates that you are looking for. These come from many places in social
media as well as new groups and communities you may join. New Connections are the spark that light the flame of social recruiting success and builds it into a raging inferno.

You make your daily action list and simply do the actions.

Then you reconnect and continue the conversation until they attend a presentation and
then move to conversion.

Do you take responsibility for the Success of your home business?

Are you taking responsibiltiy for your teams Success in your network marketing business?

Are you ready to do that for your mlm?

Let’s take a look at the word RESPONSIBILTY.

Leaders get the word RESPONSIBLE. At least the successful ones do.

They know that Leadership will never happen without it. If a leader does not accept what Leadership is about – taking responsibility for a Vision –the  the odds of a Leader moving people towards that Vision is not going to happen. Leaders have an innate understanding that Leadership DEMANDS someone taking the reigns and moving there masses towards the goal and destination.

There are many ways that a Leader can accept Leadership Responsibility, but the main way is to take responsibility for the Success of the team’s growth. Team growth is critical, and if that does not happen, then the business will suffer. Leading, among other practices is directing and guiding. If a Leader cannot be responsible for guiding people, the what good is it?

The Leader also must take responsibility for the actions that will create the Success that they are looking for. A Leader cannot move the masses without moving into the zone of action that will produce the results they are looking for. And if a Leader does just that, and takes the actions needed for growing their team, they will see great things start to happen on their team, and new leaders start to show up.

Leaders understand there is a weight of responsibility, and do not shirk from it. They
know that someone has to take action to make anything happen, and they accept that
task willingly. They know what they are responsible for as well as what they
are not.

For example, leaders know that ultimately they are not responsible for their distributors’ success.

They are responsible for educating them to do this business, preparing them for the challenges that might arise, and supporting them along the way, but each distributor must engage and embrace their own success.

It’s not unlike being a personal fitness trainer. The trainer can teach her clients how
to lift weights, why to lift and when to lift, but they must do the lifting and the grunting. If she lifts the weights for them, she’ll get the benefits, not them. They’ll lose interest and say, “Weight lifting doesn’t work!” — sound familiar?

Leaders strive to build permanent downlines always. They are willing to dig the pond,
fill it with water, stock it with fish and teach you to fish, but the new distributor must cast the line.

Responsibiltiy is crtical for the leader, and even though they will not DO the business for their team, they set up the environment so the team’s odds of success are increased dramatically for their mlm network marketing home based business.

Leadership often is talked about and bantered about, but many folks do not understand the essence of Leadership. Leadership is the focus of Team Building. Team Building is one of the most critical actions that you take in order to build a long lasting business.

Leadership is often the focus of trainings in the home business profession, but the essence of the training is more motivational than educational. There is a huge difference between training leaders and powerful Leadership Training.

They are NOT the same thing. If you understand that you can train leaders, but not give them Leadership Training, then you will have discovered the errors often given to Leaders in weekend trainings.

Understanding the essence of Leadership is critical but also the power of defining Leadership. If you were to define Leadership, how would you define it? Many people define Leadership in network marketing as directing and guiding a team. That is true, but there is a more focused definition that you can use that is applicable to what our profession is about.

If there was only one word to define Leadership in ACTION, this would be it.

Put simply, leaders are creators — they create something where there was nothing before.

They crystallize the future into a tapestry woven with the threads of dreams, belief, and action.

Leaders create magnetic direction, powerful influence, hope, possibility, and environments for growth that grow teams as well as leaders.. Leaders have the extraordinary ability to see the invisible — the art of vision. Seeing the Invisible in the mind and knowing it can be created is part of the mystique of powerful Leaders.

They take a thought, and by sharing it with others and asking their help, bring it into existence. They create compelling visions that people can believe in — in Network Marketing, it’s often that most important of beliefs which can change our lives for the better.

Do YOU have a Vision for your team and Leadership?

Change is a sister word to Create. Leaders are change agents — they create positive change in people’s lives. They know that change must occur to increase or expand anything. Change creates new directions and perspectives which are what Network Marketing is all about.

You can then share them, tweet, them, and pin them so they can see that you are promoting them. Tis will not only get their attention, but also they will appreciate you.

It lets them know you want to connect on a more powerful basis with them and learn from them which anyone will be drawn towards.

Looking to someone as a Resource is a powerful way to Compliment them and get them to start a conversation with you. It is also a great way to create a connection that they will want to stay connected to, versus just on occasion.

You need to become a Success Resource, but also create the conversation with prospects that they are also a resource for many.

3. “This has really made a difference in my thinking. You have a gift that is obvious. I would love to connect with you because you are the type of Leader I would like to share with some folks I know. Can we connect on skype?”

4. “I totally agree with you. This makes so much sense. I also enjoyed your series of videos, as it helped. I would love to interview you for a project that i am doing on Success and Leadership.”

This will gie you a chance to really get to know them in a way that will become more personal, and you can talk to them about Success and Leadership by asking questions. Then you can later ask them for help in locating some “talent” in their city they live for you. They will listen to what you have to say.
