MLM Network Marketing Training-Breakthrough Thinking: Success Secrets for High Achievers from a Three-Time Olympian

MLM Network Marketing Training-
Breakthrough Thinking:
Success Secrets for High Achievers from a Three-Time Olympian

by Ruben Gonzalez

What would your life be like if failure was not an option?

Would you like to perform at your peak more often? What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

In the next few minutes you will learn how I programmed my mind to make my Olympic Dream come true – three times! I will share some techniques with you that can change your life. So here we go…

Four years after making a decision to begin training for the Olympics, I had the honor of competing in the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics in the luge. I went on to compete in the 1992 Albertville Olympics and I just competed in the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics at the age of 39.

How does someone who didn’t even take up the sport of luge until he was 22 years-old become a three time Olympian? As I tell thousands of people in my speeches, I’m not a big shot, I’m just a little shot that keeps on shooting.

I am proof that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things if they just put the right things into their minds.

Olympic Athletes consistently use specialized techniques to program their minds to achieve peak performance. The following simple techniques, performed consistently over a period of time, will change your outlook in life…and ultimately, your outcome.

Acquire the Mindset of MLM Winners

If you adopt these beliefs, you will win much more often.

1 – Failure Does Not Exist

Just because I crashed the last five times on the luge track doesn’t mean I’ll crash the next time. Every time I come down that track I am a better racer because I have more experience than the time before.

When Thomas Edison was trying to find the right filament to make the light bulb work, a reporter asked him how it felt to have failed thousands of times. Edison said that he didn’t fail…he just discovered thousands of materials that didn’t work.

There is no such thing as failure. You either get the desired outcome, or you learn. No matter what the result, you win. The past does not equal the future.

By thinking this way, you don’t allow discouragement to get a foothold in your mind.

2 – If It Is To Be…It Is Up To Me!

Every single one of the people in the biography’s I’ve read, overcame some major challenge. Struggling through those challenges is what made them great. A piece of coal has to experience a huge amount of heat and pressure in order to become a diamond. We are no different. Every time we face a challenge, we have a choice to make. Will we get bitter or better? Decide to get better, face the challenge because it’s there to make you stronger. You’ll need that strength further up the road when you’ll be facing even bigger challenges.

Don’t ever make excuses. Whenever you make an excuse you are giving up control. When you rationalize, you are actually telling yourself “rational lies”.

Believe that you are in charge of your life, you are totally responsible and you create your own results. You are in control of your life and you have the power to change your circumstances.

3- Get Out of Your Comfort Zone!

When I decided to learn the luge, I told everyone I was aiming for the Olympics. I wanted to put myself in a position where it would be very difficult to quit.

When I first went to Lake Placid, I honestly didn’t know what I was getting into. I just took a leap of faith and believed the net would appear. I’ve taken a couple of thousand luge runs in my career and I’ve faced fear before every run. What kept me going? The Olympic Dream. The desire to become an Olympian gave me the courage to face my fears.

Commit to stretching. Put yourself on the line. Commit to do things beyond your current abilities. That’s how you grow and that’s how you get better and stronger.

4 – Just do it!

When the luge team went to a new track we would walk the track with the coach. We would make a game plan about the best way to drive the track. I then visualized and mentally rehearsed taking the run many times, until finally I had to hop on the sled and go down the mountain. The first few runs are always pretty brutal, but as we learn the track, our times improve dramatically.

Scary? Very. But it’s the price I paid to get to the Olympics.

Commit to act – even if you don’t know everything. You don’t wait till all the lights are green before taking a road trip. If you wait until you know everything before acting, you’ll never do anything. Take a chance. Act on faith.

5 – Be True to Yourself

Always act from Personal Integrity. Be true to yourself. If it doesn’t feel right in your gut, don’t do it. Don’t ever go against your personal values. No victory is worth not being able to look at yourself in the mirror.

6 – There is Always a Way if You Don’t Quit!

Robert Schuller says, “Mental toughness is developed through consistency of effort.”

On the road to the Olympics, many athletes much faster than me quit along the way. How do you think they felt when they watched the Olympics on TV? The price of getting your dream is big, but the pain of regret is hundreds of times bigger.

Commitment is the glue that holds everything together. Commitment is the most powerful tool you have as a human being. Commit to practice until you are good. Even if you fear what it takes to get to your goal (as I feared the luge), do it anyways. Commitment will pull you through.

Commit to do whatever it takes (as long as it is moral, legal and ethical) to succeed.

The difference between people is there are those who are interested and there are those who are committed. The key to success in life is going from being interested to being committed. Once you are committed you will produce results. At the point of commitment, you mentally “burn all the bridges” and you do whatever it takes to make it happen. THAT’S when you become unstoppable!

Chase your dream, go for the gold, and never ever quit.

Make it happen! I believe in you.

MLM Network Marketing Training- Get More Personal in MLM

MLM Network Marketing Training– Get More Personal in MLM

by Josh Hinds

Most folks who know me know that when people write me I always like to write back and show how much I appreciate the message. I do stay busy, but taking the time to write back is something that’s very important to me.

Well friends, the other day I slipped up! (See, even I can admit my mistakes… lol. After all, that’s how we grow isn’t it?).

You see I received a message from a person that had two parts to it. The first part a very kind note letting me know how much she enjoyed the newsletter, while the second part was asking about purchasing a sponsorship ad in the newsletter.

The MLM Hurry It UP!

I must have been in a bit of a hurry at the time so I only wrote back regarding the sponsorship part of the note (I am not making an excuse for myself here. Lack of time is simply no excuse when building relationships… professional, personal or otherwise.

(That’s a rule you’ll want to take to heart, I assure you).

When I first replied, I didn’t even realize that I had been so hasty about it. Then luckily (I’ll explain why it was lucky in a second) the person wrote back to tell me that I had not taken the time to give thanks and that I had only mentioned the sponsorship part in my reply to her.

She went on to tell me that she understood, but did offer the great advice that I should be a bit more personal.

You see, while that is exactly how I am virtually all the time, it didn’t matter because in this particular circumstance it was my first correspondence with her, and she had no basis for judging me except by this first impression.

She had absolutely no way of knowing that I do try to be personal. That was my job, and yours, to portray yourself with the actions you show others. I love the saying, “Your actions speak so loud I can barely hear the words you say.” Wow!

How fitting is that to the situation I found myself in?

The Network Marketing View.

Looking back, I am so thankful that she took the time to remind me. Had she not I might have slipped up again! (Heck, I’m only human right? 🙂 You see, folks, in our busy, hectic, day-to-day schedules we all get in a bit of a hurry.

Maybe you’re selling a product (You are at least selling yourself) and without even realizing it, you walk into a person’s office or house and jump right into your Network Marketing sales spiel.

If you do this I am certain that you’re missing the boat! People want to know us prior to doing business with us (or extending a friendship to us as the case may be).

When we first fill this basic human need, we are in a much better place with regard to being able to give them what they need.

Believe me, it is a position that is worth putting forth the effort to be in… for MLM Success and Network marketing mastery.

Your friend in success,

Josh Hinds

Home Based Business Training-Top Ten Tips for Terminating MLM Telephone Terror

by Wendy Weiss

What can strike terror into the heart of even the most successful sales professional or MLM entrepreneur? What can crush self confidence, destroy self esteem and leave even the most seasoned prospector quivering with humiliation and defeat?

The Terror of Cold Calling. But fear not! Here are:

Top Ten Tips for Terminating MLM Telephone Terror!

1. Make telephone calls

Few things are more terrifying than the unknown. The fear you create for yourself is far worse than the reality of cold calling. Once you start making telephone calls and continue making calls, it gets easier. You will overcome your fear by doing.

2. Make a lot of telephone calls

If you have only one prospect to pursue, that prospect becomes overwhelmingly important. If you have hundreds of leads, no one prospect can make or break you. The more calls you make, the more success you will have.

3. Prepare

Prepare for cold calling the way you would for any major presentation. Know what you want to say, how you want to say it and how you want to represent yourself, your company, your product or service. And, most importantly, know the goal of your telephone call.

4. Practice

If you are new to MLM cold calling or uncomfortable with cold calling, practice your pitch out loud. Role-play with friends or colleagues. Practice various sales scenarios. This way you will not have to worry about what you are going to say, you will be prepared and you can focus in on your Network Marketing prospect.

5. Start with less important leads

It will be good practice and less stressful. Once you feel more comfortable, start working on the more important leads.

MLM means CALM DOWN! 6. Stay CalmYou will, for the most part, be talking to people who will appreciate your call. If a prospect is rude, remember: don’t take it personally. They may just be having a bad day. Move on.

7. Realize your priorities and your prospect’s priorities are different

You want an immediate “yes”…your prospect on the other hand may want to finish a report, finish a conversation, start their vacation….etc. Be very careful not to read negative or extra meaning into early conversations with your prospect or your prospect’s secretary.

If, for example, your MLM prospect’s secretary says that your prospect is “on the phone,” “in a meeting,” or “out of the office,” that does not translate to, “My prospect knows that I am calling and is avoiding me.”
Wendy Weiss, The Queen of Cold Calling, is a sales trainer, sales coach and author specializing in cold calling and new business development. You can learn more about Wendy by going to her website at wendyweiss.com and be sure to sign up for her newsletter for more tips on cold calling.

8. Accept that some things are out of your control

If a prospect says “no,” ultimately, that is out of your control. But what is within your control is continuing to prospect and continuing to make calls. It is also within your control to improve your cold-calling skills, attend seminars, read books or hire a trainer — fewer prospects will say “no.”

9. Play Arlene’s game

The object of Arlene’s game is to focus on rejection. The goal is to reach 100 points. You get 1 point for every rejection. Give yourself 1 point for every “no” answer. If your prospect says “yes,” that’s a bonus! Focus on acquiring points. The more calls you make, the more points you acquire. When you reach 100-You Win! Give yourself a prize!

10. Have fun!

This is not life or death — it’s only a Network marketing cold call. The fate of the world does not rest on you and your telephone. You will not destroy your company or ruin your life if a prospect says “no.” Loosen up, be creative, have some fun!

MLM Success Training / MLM Leadership Training / MLM Recruiting

Home Business Training -MLM Recruiter? MLM Sponsor? MLM Baby Sitter? MLM Mentor?…..

home business baby sitter
home based business baby sitter

Home business training

is a MUST.

That is Priority One.(CLUE!!!!)
You must get them trained… a recruiter rarely takes the time for that because recruiters are focused on recruiting, not growing… signing them up, not growing them up… a Leader always grows people…

INFERNO Secret:

Growing people produces the biggest harvest in this MLM business…. (CLUE!!!!!!)

Be a great sponsor and take your new distributors where they want to go, but remember to also take them to the level of success you want them to lead them to…

3) The MLM Baby Sitter
Ahhh…… this is the sponsor who does everything for their downline, and completely disables their distributors and cripples their growth…

You want to do it all… you don’t think anyone can do it as good as you, and so, you do it all… and what happens

INFERNO Secret:
Baby Sitting creates a downline of babies… they never grow into their greatness in this business… they crawl through this business… and eventually out of it…

You as a Leader must become a great sponsor… but understand there is a HUGE difference between Sponsoring someone…. and Spoon Feeding them….

Create a GROWTH environment… not a Kindergarten….

As you mature your people in this business… so matures your business ultimately…

4) The MLM Mentor
This is the Pinnacle of the Role you play in the development of your Leaders… but here is a tip…

 INFERNO Secret:

Mentor those who DESERVE it… not those who DESIRE it….

Your ultimate goal as a sponsor is to create a non-stop success machine. The only way you can do that is to choose 4-5 people in your group to mentor for greatness…

Choose people who have really stepped up to the bat and proven they are SERIOUS about their building this business… make sure they have shown you that they are worthy of you taking them under your wing and paying very special attention to them…
Take them under your wing for a year and solidify and grow them into their greatness… not by totally building it for them, as there are some things they must learn from experience, but totally supporting them in all phases of their business and growth through training, building, supporting, and BEING THERE for them... and creating an extraordinary relationship that will last a lifetime…

Mentoring is not for the weak-hearted…..

it takes effort, discipline, a lot of caring…. and also a ton of giving on your part…
You will have trying times, just like in any relationship… but you must understand that if you mentor a select few folks, they can create an enormous business with you, and will be maximized in this industry… and will stay with you during the tough times… (and there will be some…)

   The Recruiter grows “In-discouragement”…

   The Sponsor grows Independence…

   The Baby Sitter grows Dependence…

   The Mentor grows Interdependence…

INFERNO Secret:
The Power of MLM lies in Interdependence…..

And, it is true….

Home business reality:

There are many Leadership factors involved in building a downline, but none are more frustrating than the roles a Leader can play when recruiting and engaging a new person in this business…

We have a tendency to go from one extreme to the other… ignoring the new person to practically living with them… and everything in between…

There are 4 basic “leading” roles that you establish with your new person. As a Leader, you may move through all of these roles with each person you bring into your MLM organization.

   1) The Recruiter…
   2) The Sponsor…
   3) The Baby Sitter…
   4) The Mentor…

1) The MLM Recruiter
So what exactly IS the difference between a recruiter and a sponsor?

INFERNO Secret:

I have always taught that recruiting is getting them in and sponsoring is keeping them in. One is a defined process for getting them signed up; the other is growing their greatness in this business…

I never really got into a hairsplitting term… call it what you want… but understand…

Network Marketing Recruiting is the Process of getting to the point of being their sponsor and a lot people who recruit folks in this business forget the sponsor part….

MLM Recruiting
can be simply running the numbers, but that is how the average distributor does it…. A Leader recruits to become a great sponsor and to build a long term relationship… recruiting is the first phase of the Leader Role,….

2) The MLM Sponsor… is the second.
When you have recruited them into your business, now you are their sponsor…

INFERNO Secret:

There is a reason why the word sponsor and responsibility have the same root word… it is your responsibility to become the Leader they need to create an environment for greatness…. and for creating independence in your people.

ALL great Leaders in this industry have mentored a select few special people in their downline to extreme success… in MLM and Network Marketing for a successful Home Based Business.

Home Business Training-The Three Focuses

home business focus

home business focus

Home business is a great profession.

Home Based business owners need many things.

They need time.

They need drive.

They need effort.

They need also FOCUS.

There are three focuses you can have on working this great business. Each one will bring you success, but only one will truly create momentum.

And in this Nugget, I want to share with you the way to ignite a fire of success in your business and drive it to the heights of any success you seek!!!!

The First MLM Focus is:

1) “RETAILERS”

This will create a steady paycheck for you and will move a lot of product. Retailing can be a slower way to work this business, but many people are happy with an extra $1,000.00 a month and want no more.

This group of folks are the majority of people who WORK MLM, not play with it. They are PRODUCT-focused, and that is what they take to the marketplace… products and a story to tell.

If you want a steady paycheck, make sure you have retailers and lots of them.

The Second MLM Focus is:

2) “BUILDERS”

These are the people in your group who “see” the big picture and know that it is BUILDING a business that will create volume and bigger paychecks.

Builders understand that recruiting is of HUGE importance, and they recruit retailers, as well as other builders. Builders also understand that with this focus, they are focused on the Business PROCESS… not just the PRODUCTS.

Builders see a longer term business as well… with big volume and big paychecks.

The Third MLM Focus is…

3) “DRIVERS”

This is the group that “gets it.” They understand that in order to create momentum, you must DRIVE the business, not just build it. They are not focused on products, nor process, but POWER. The Power that emerges from a clear vision of the future. And they focus on recruiting builders and other drivers.

Retailing and Building are ACTION focused.

Drivers are MINDSET focused… and go after the picture they hold in their mind of what they want out of life, and will not be denied in any way, shape or form.

The 3 Big Traits of Drivers are:

  1. “Relentless pursuit.”
  2. “Build people, not just a business.”
  3. “Leadership… and it shows in all they do.”

Drivers are also focused on WEALTH creation, not just a paycheck.

It is the Dream of a larger lifestyle for themselves and their team that drives them. They understand one phrase… and have it engraved on their heart:

“Whatever it takes.”

The Million Dollar Network Marketing Question:

Retailer?

Builder?

Driver?

You decide what you want this business to give you… and you will find your focus in MLM and Network Marketing Home based business!

MLM Network Marketing Training- The MLM Secret of Getting the Decision and Closing the Prospect.

MLM Network Marketing Training- The MLM Secret of Getting the Decision and Closing the Prospect.

By Doug Firebaugh

This is where the rubber meets the road. This is where you MAKE YOUR MONEY!

Picture going through your prospect presentation. You’re really nailing the presentation — going through your series of “Next Moves” to keep your prospect involved and increase their knowledge and interest in your opportunity.

Then comes…

Decision TIME in MLM.

INFERNO Secret:

No Decision. No paycheck.

The last thing you want to hear at this point is a “Maybe.”

INFERNO Secret:

Maybes in this business will KILL YOU. You MUST get Prospects Off the Fence!

The Decision is where the Involvement is either crystallized or told goodbye. You cannot make money in this business without bringing them to a Decision.

INFERNO Secret:

On the Fence = Off the Pay Plan.

In Network Marketing- NEVER Close.

So you want to try to bring them to a decision. And the most common way to do that is through “CLOSING”…

NEVER CLOSE! You will lose out in the long run…

Why?

The last word in Close is Lose…and if you or your distributors don’t close your Prospect, you will think that you have LOST.

But in reality you have SUCCEEDED!

How?

You got a Decision. And you lead your prospect to the decision that was right for them.

INFERNO Secret:

This business is NOT for everyone. Your job is not to Close people, but to help navigate them to a decision that is right for them…

How?

By using what we call “Navigators”…

What are they?

Phrases to help LEAD people to the decision that is right for them.

Think about it…you don’t want people to sign up who will be a headache down the road. So sell them a product, get referrals, and Move Forward…

The Master MLM Navigator Questions.

Here are what we call the “Master Navigator Questions”…

Start with…

You know, all I want is what is best for you…and is right for you. This was for me, but you’re not me. I am not here to convince you of anything…only to see if this is right for you…

Then ask…

  1. Does this make sense? (answer)
  2. What is the one thing that really got your attention? Yeah…a lot of folks like that part…
  3. I’ve got an idea…let’s do this…let’s get the paperwork out of the way so we can get you on your way…

What you have done is create an environment TO HELP THEM MAKE A DECISION!

Not CLOSE THEM!!!

People will appreciate this so much more than CLOSING them, online or offline…even though getting the decision online simply requires them taking action of some kind…

MLM Navigator 2

You know…I can tell you know whether this is right for you or not…I have a question…Can you see yourself being successful in this business???? (answer)

Well…I’ve got an idea. Let’s do this…

Now what happens if they say “

No…it’s not for me?”…you say…”GREAT! I am glad you took the time to make an informed decision that is right for you — I appreciate your honesty, but I hope you will be a cheerleader for me! I need your support! And I know you will continue using the Product.

Question — if you were me and you were new in this business, who would be the first 2 people you know you would call?

MLM Navigator 3

“Strength = Asset” Navigator…

Let me ask you a question? You have skills, assets and strengths that you can bring to the table to help any company succeed. Would you agree?

I have skills, assets and strengths, especially in this business, that I bring to the table that can help any company succeed…Let me ask you a question…

Combining YOUR strengths and assets with MY strengths and assets, what kind of business do you think we could build together?

Great…I have an idea…let’s do this…

There are a lot of other navigators, but these are a start…

INFERNO Secret:

Navigation is LEADING…People follow strength…Be a Leader with Navigators instead of just getting them to sign an application. If you’re a leader, you will get plenty of apps…

Best of all — the Decision is simple to get…

INFERNO Secret:

You MUST help and guide people to a decision that is right for them.

If they do not join you, they will REFER you to folks precisely because you didn’t try to pressure them to do something that was not for them. Get them as a customer…and get referrals…and you’ll achieve success in MLM and Network Marketing.

MLM Network Marketing Training- MLM’s – Are They a Viable Online Business?

MLM Network Marketing Training- MLM’s – Are They a Viable Online Business?

by Ann Rusnak

You’ve seen those ads “Make $10,000 instantly with a  Business on the Internet” . Okay, that’s an exaggeration. Ads promising wealth on the Internet usually belong to people participating in Multi-Level Marketing/Networking (MLM/NM) programs.  Trying to fulfill that promise of wealth and financial freedom.  The focus of this series has been on how you can profit from the Internet Revolution. It is only appropriate that we devote an article to Multi-level marketing/Network marketing.

Three Things First before continuing.

  1. We do not endorse or promote any Multi-level marketing opportunity on our site.
  2. I know several l people using these programs with success and will be more than glad to refer you, if you think a MLM opportunity is for you.
  3. There are low-lifes in any industry.  MLM/NM is no acceptation.

MLM’s are being promoted as the best fit for an Internet business.  The two were made for each other.  Multi-level marketing programs are legitimate home business models.  They are under the scrutiny of the Federal Trade Commission.

People make their money when products are sold.  Sometimes they are confused with pyramid schemes. A pyramid scheme is when money is transferred from a lower level to a higher level.  The people closest the top  benefit from the people on the lower levels contributing money.  The lower levels will never see the full benefits of the money the contributed to join.  Some pyramid schemes will disguise themselves as MLM by selling some type of product or services but the price to join is way and above the actually value of that product.  It’s not the selling of the product that brings in the money, it’s when the people join.

What are the Advantages of an MLM

A properly run MLM system is a win-win for both company and distributor.  When you sign up with a Multi-level marketing company, you are considered an independent contractor.  That makes you your own boss.

First advantage is you’re the boss of your business.  You set the hours you want to work.

Other advantages include.

  • Low entry barriers.   You don’t need a college education or any particular education to begin your business.
    Start-up costs are low.
  • You can work out of your home.
  • You don’t need to quit your current job. You can build your MLM business until it can replace your current income.
  • Residual Income. You keep earning a percentage of your downline sales.  As long as they are selling products.
  • You are rewarded in proportion to your efforts.
  • Multi-level marketing companies have pre-defined business and marketing plans.
  • They also manufacture the product and drop ship it to your customer.
  • Many of them handle the paper work.

What are the Disadvantages.

Alienating your friends and acquaintances.

These are the people your upline will have start marketing to first. Your upline will have you contact these people to try to “recruit” them into the business.  I am sure all of us have been approached by somebody to join their program. The big emphasis is on financial freedom for joining.  Some of these companies want you to use the so-called “Curiosity Approach”.  This approach certainly puts my guard up.

A better approach would be to a call your friends and let them know you looking at MLM company to make some extra money. Ask if you could drop of some products from them to  try and get their opinion on them.  This will be a good indication of how well your products will sell.

You need to be a Self Starter and able to lead and motivate others.

To earn the residual income, you must recruit people.  This is where you make the BIG money. You have to stay on top of your downline to make sure they are actively recruiting. You need train and motivate them.  Your upline should provide you with the training you need.  Don’t count on somebody to motivate you though.

Financial Commitment.

Some programs require you to buy a certain amount of products every month to stay active and eligible for the program.  Make the company is offering products that you are going to use.  If you don’t like the product, look for a company with products you do like.

WORDS OF WISDOM

MLM as an ideal type of Internet Business.

This is one of the biggest selling points in joining a Multi-level marketing company. You get to have your own Internet business.  Check out the Rules and regulations very carefully. Some companies have very strict restrictions that your business is nothing more than a glorified online ordering form with no way for you build the business online.   Many make it easy for their distributors to run their businesses online.

Some companies provide templates to set up a website.  Others let you create your own web site.  I haven’t come across one company that approves of spamming.  The more flexibility you have to market online, the better the chances you have of someone finding your site and buying.  Especially if you can optimize your  web sites for the search engines

The URL or web address.

There are companies that make your name a part of their web address. For example. www.mymlmcompany.com/myownname.html.  You can have a little print of this on your business cards as your web address. Some one visiting the site could bookmark and come back easily. You still get the credit for the sale. Others allow you to have your own domain.  There are MLM companies that you just direct people to the main site. They usually require a passcode to enter or to purchase. Even if someone bookmarked the page, without the code they can’t enter. You could easily loose the sale. The Internet is about convenience.

One company I researched actually gave you three options to ensure the right person got credit in case you forgot the passcode number. You searched for their company id number by  their name, email address or their business name.

The System

There are some MLM companies that say the have a proven system for success.  Most of the time it is not the company but the distributors that have developed this system.  A lot of them are nothing more than motivational systems with very little training on growing your business. There is big money in motivational materials.  You may have to spend hundreds of dollars a month on these systems. How much product are you going to have to sell to afford the training system?    Is there any emphasis on selling the products and obtaining customers or is it on recruiting people and getting them on the system.    Does the Multi-level company produce their own business support materials?  If so, why is emphasis on buying distributor produce business support materials?

I compared training programs  of the #1 affiliate program for 1999 The 5 Pillar Program to the # 1 MLM company.  What a shock. Both companies offer quality products.  Joining the 5 Pillar Program is Free.  Hundred for the other.  The #1 MLM company systems cost about $225 a month for the basics including a passcode protect web page. That doesn’t include recruiting or showing the plan supplies.  That is just the training/motivational system. You need to sell about $2000-$4000 in products a month to support the basics.   This system is not put together by the company but by the distributors.  All the training material, software, manuals are free in the 5 Pillar Program.  You also get weekly coaching through a newsletter.  There is also email support. The 5 Pillar program also offers lifetime customers and commissions.  5If you need a website, the 5 Pillar program offers the service to register your own domain name, build a site with unlimited pages and host it for the year for under $100 (US).

Multi-level marketing was once an alternative for people who wanted to start business but didn’t have the capital, knowledge, or time to start one.  Franchises had become too expensive for the average person. Many have been able to obtain financial freedom through network marketing.  You can still achieve this freedom today.

The Internet has opened up many other possibilities to own a business online with a low cost start-up. Multi-level marketing can be the best option for you to have an Internet based business.  You just need to do some investigation. Ask lots of question. Don’t let anybody pressure you to join.  There will be a lot of emphasis on recruiting. The Direct Marketing Association  advises to take a balance approach. It’s important to have customers as well as downline. There must always be a legitimate product being sold and compensation on the sale of that product.

Customers will give you the immediate income and distributors will give you the residual long term income.://www.directselling.org/career.stm

MLM Network Marketing Training- Will Seminars Get You Clients?

MLM Network Marketing Training- Will Seminars Get You Clients?

More Articles by C.J. Hayden
I often suggest public speaking as a powerful way to show prospective Network Marketing clients what you can do. Many professionals and consultants have built successful practices by giving free presentations to associations, businesses, and educational institutions. But what about producing your own MLM seminar, where you arrange the logistics and invite the guests? Does this work as a strategy for landing clients?

Offering a Success Seminar can be an effective means to become more visible to your target market. If you are a good (or even fair) presenter, and the right people come to your seminar, you will definitely get new customers. But to use seminar marketing successfully, you need to be very clear on your goals, and plan each seminar carefully.

The MLM Purpose.

If the purpose of your seminar is primarily to get clients, you shouldn’t be expecting to make money on the seminar itself. You may wish merely to cover your expenses, or maybe even spend a little extra. For this type of Success Training seminar, the key to making it pay off is to attract people who are good prospects for your business in the first place, rather than just filling the room.

Instead of making your MLM Success Seminar free, it’s a good idea to charge a small fee. That way, your prospective clients will perceive you as offering something of value. The fee will also discourage attendance by people who can’t afford your product or service. It’s the quality of the participants that matters, not the quantity.

If what you really want is for your seminar to turn a profit, you must recognize that by offering full-fee seminars, you are adding another line of business to your company. Operating as a seminar producer will require the same kind of planning and ongoing management as your existing business does.

It can be as difficult to make a profit on your first seminar as it was to originally launch your business. Many people won’t sign up for a seminar the first time they see it; others would like to come but can’t make the date. You’ll have a better chance of making money if you plan at the outset to offer your seminar on a regular basis. You may find, though, that this takes away too much time from your core business.

Promotion in Network Marketing

Whether the seminar you are planning is promotional or for profit, estimate your projected income and expenses before making a commitment to proceed. Base the income you project solely on the fee you will charge per person multiplied by the number of attendees you expect. Don’t include any projected spinoff business in your income estimate. If you land new business, you will still have to work additional hours to earn that compensation.

Typical expenses include design and printing of a flyer or brochure, postage, posting a notice on your website, purchase of mailing lists (if you don’t have your own), print and Internet media ads (including calendar listings), facility rent, audiovisuals, handouts, and refreshments. You should also consider the cost of your own time to design promotional materials, compile lists, compose e-mails, and make phone calls, as noted below.

In designing a snail mail or e-mail campaign for your Success Seminar, keep in mind that it is quite typical to get only one registration for every 100 pieces you mail, even with a pre-qualified list.

Subtract your projected expenses from your income, then make a rational decision on whether to proceed. If the purpose of your seminar is to get business, estimate how much spinoff business is likely. Before going ahead, ask yourself if there might be an easier or cheaper way to get that many new clients or contracts.

Making Money in MLM.

If your purpose is to make money, divide your expected profit by the number of hours it will take you to design, market, and deliver your seminar. Is that amount a reasonable level of compensation for you?

If your best guess at the numbers tells you that producing a seminar makes good business sense for you, go for it! Because people do business with those they know, like, and trust, seminars can help you build a solid client base. And because repeat contacts raise awareness, mailings and ads about your seminar will generate more visibility for your core business.

MLM Network Marketing Training- 10 Ways To Indirectly Get To The Top Of Search Engines

MLM Network Marketing Training- 10 Ways To Indirectly Get To The Top Of Search Engines
By: Kim Beardsmore

There are millions of web sites trying to get listed in the top 20 spots of the major search engines. That amounts to a lot of competition! I say if you can’t get listed at the top, indirectly get to the top.

How do you do this? Look up the top 20 web sites on the major search engines under the keywords and phrases people would find your MLM web site. The key would be to then advertise on those web sites.

The most expensive way would be to buy ad space on those Network Marketing web sites. If you don’t want to spend any money, you could use the ten strategies below. These strategies may not apply to every web site.

1. Participate on their discussion boards. You could post questions, answer other peoples questions, and join in on conversations. Just include your signature file and link at the end of your messages.

2. Ask the web site owner if they would like a free ebook to giveaway to their visitors. You could have them link to your web site or include your ad in the free ebook.

3. Submit content to their MLM web site. You could write articles for their web site and include your resource box and link at the end of the article. If they publish it, you’ll indirectly be at the top of the search engines.

4. Write an excellent article review of their web site, products or services. Then publish the review on your web site. E-mail the web site owner and tell him or her about it. They may link to your web site so their visitors read it.

5. Ask the owner of the web site if they would want to trade advertising. If you don’t get as much traffic as they do, you could throw in some extra incentives.

6. Propose a cross promotion deal with the web site. You both could promote each others products or services together in one package deal. This means a mention and link back to your web site.

7. Give the web site a testimonial for their MLM product or service. Include a little text link for your web site with the testimonial. You never know; it could end up on their ad copy.

8. Post your advertisement on their free classified ad section on their Network Marketing web site. You want to be sure you have an attractive headline so they will read your ad.

9. Post your text link on their free-for-all links page. You want to go back and post your link regularly so it stays towards the top.

10. Sign their guest books. You could leave a short compliment about their web site on their guest book. Just include your signature file and link at the end of your message.

MLM Network Marketing Training- Perseverance is the Secret to MLM Success

MLM Network Marketing Training- Perseverance is the Secret to MLM Success

Helga’s first try at establishing her jewelry store failed. After re-evaluating her experience, she opened another jewelry store. Helga is now the proud owner of three successful stores.Helga didn’t fail in her first attempt. Failure occurs when we quit or stop trying. Especially in Network marketing.

Helga has perseverance – “stick-to-itiveness.”Perseverance is the key to success. After thousands of efforts to make the electric light bulb, Thomas Edison said, I haven’t failed, I’ve identified 10,000 ways that it doesn’t work.” Mario Lemieux, Helen Keller, Abraham Lincoln, Marie Curie and an endless list of other great MLM achievers found that success inevitably arrives for everyone who perseveres.

Acquiring a desired job or promotion, or succeeding at business may present difficulties. But this is part of the learning process. Ultimately, people who persevere become successful. They learn from mistakes.Do you persevere? Or, after meeting rejection or difficulties, do you quit?

Test Your Perseverance Quotient

Rate yourself – on a scale of one to three, one being low and three being high – on each of the following:

  1. I believe in myself. I have clear career goals. I address my limitations. I bounce back from disappointment. I have the stamina to persist. My family and friends support me in my pursuit of goals. I can adapt to change. I focus and complete projects. My goals are consistent with my purpose and values.
  2. I can take unpopular actions when I believe I’m right.

Add your scores. The higher your score, the more perseverant you are.

Tips for Persevering

  1. Clarify your goal. Base it on your mission/passion, needs and abilities. Know why you want your goal and how you and others will benefit.

State your goal in the present. Write desired outcomes, what you want to accomplish. Be detailed, specific, positive.

Intend to achieve you goal. Outline goal, strategies and timeline for your home business. Know resources that can help you attain your goal, such as people, associations and the Internet. Break the goal into small steps, working backward form your desired outcome and achievement date.

Develop support systems. Meet regularly with positive, encouraging people who support your goals and celebrate your achievements. Select other sources of positive reinforcement such as books or tapes with uplifting themes.

Choose productive attitudes and behaviors. Don’t dwell in the past, worry about what might happen or view yourself as a victim.

Maintain optimism. Reinforce the positive in yourself and others. Expect good things. Watch self-talk. Replace negative thoughts or statements with positive ones. Keep a diary of each day’s good experiences.

Focus on what you can do. Acknowledge your accomplishments. Judge your accomplishments against personal standards of self-improvements.

Have the courage of your convictions. Don’t change for others or compare yourself with others.

Develop the will to risk. Don’t fear mistakes. Ask: What’s the worst that can happen?’ Decide whether you could live with the worst or take steps to reduce the chance of it happening.

Research your goal to reduce negative outcomes. For example, interview successful people who have achieved similar goals in MLM. Learn from their mistakes.

Live in the present. Don’t worry about what might happen. View mistakes as opportunities to grow in Network Marketing.

Let go of attachments. The more attached you are to something, the greater the fear of losing it.

    Maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Care for you mind, body, emotions and spirit. Schedule quiet times to think and reassess. Practice stress relievers such as deep breathing, exercise, meditation. Get sufficient sleep, eat healthy. Take time for fun and friends.

Practice imagery. Imagine yourself living your goal today. Hold your desired outcome firmly in your mind. See, smell, touch and hear aspects of your goal. Each morning upon rising, review your goal. Repeat the process at night.

  2. Persist. Focus on goals daily. With every “no” of defeat you’re closer to a “yes” of success. If you learn from set-backs and stay on course, success will follow. Every day, at regular intervals, ask yourself whether your activities are helping you attain your goal.

Believe you’ll attain your goal. Persevere. When your mind, emotions and activities focus on your goal, you can achieve the extraordinary.
