You must be consistent in sales,

Sales are the only thing that creates volume. And volume is a good thing. it is what you get paid on.

You must be consistent in recruiting,

That is how you build your team…and volume…and activity…and of course..long term growth.

You must be consistent in training.

No training, no duplication.

The Home Business Secret.

But you also must be INSISTENT as well.

1) You must Insist to yourself that you will succeed.

2) You MUST insist to yourself you will create a large business.

3) You must insist with people that their life could be better.

No exceptions.

Consistency can be seen, but Insistency can be FELT.

Your prospect will feel your insistency you place on yourself, and respond to that in a positive fashion.

People like to follow people who are insistent that success show up in their life.

If you Insist, people will ASSIST you in your MLM endeavors.

owners can run up against a lot of things.

Including resistance.

Home based business builders understand that is part of the process.

Many people resist change because they were taught to do that. Most people resist change because of lack of control. or lack of understanding or assumptions. People are naturally resistant to change because of how they grew up or fear of the unknown.

 There are many reasons. What about YOU? Do YOU do that?

Then there is THE RULE.

Here is a sad rule of life that we all in Network Marketing must accept:

“Most people resist change in their life.”

You will find this out quickly in MLM.

Why?

The Past MLM Experiences.

Mainly, when change has entered a person’s life in the past, it usually came in the form of a loss, not a gain.

It carried with it Pain, not Pleasure.

And most people equate change to something negative, verses positive.

Change then becomes “Chains” that people carry around with them, because they are “Chained” to the Past, to How things are, to Fears, Doubts, and Insecurities, and they are too heavy to carry around with you in Network Marketing…

And they have a tendency to resist any growth at all in their life, because they are afraid that it will produce Pain, or create a Loss…

They replay the past over…and over…and over…and over…until their past becomes their future, or at least a lot like it. They want to grow, but only if they can stay where they are.

Which does not make any sense…

Because Growth is a FORWARD function, not a backward one…

The Realities of Network Marketing Resistance are REAL and ones that cannot be argued.

Folks who resist change…

Usually work for someone else…

Usually end up with less in life…

Usually make excuses, not money…

Usually look for things to NOT work…

Usually complain more than those who don’t resist…

Usually see less of the world…

Usually are less inclined to join things…

And Usually are more negative than those who don’t resist…

People who resist Change let “Life Happen” to them, verses ” Happen to Life”. It may even be subconscious, but it is there.

The Two Most Powerful words in MLM.

In Network Marketing, you must change their negative picture of change by asking the Two Most Powerful Words in MLM:

“What If?”…

What if it DID work? How would your life change?”

“What if I am right, and you could live the life you truly want?”

“What if you did succeed… how would your life be improved by it?”

And if they are still resistant to change, sell them the products, and get some referrals…

…and move on.

There are only two kinds of people you will run across in MLM…

To be blunt, they are in every business…

Every Church…

Every Family…

You will find them…

There are More than just One in MLM.

And you will find that there is more of one than the other…

Ok… who are they?

People that are OPEN to the Idea of MLM.

People that are Open to new ideas are generally more ambitious, energized, and successful. They look for things TO work, and they bring an energy to things that most of the world will not.

These are the folks that are the LEADERS of the world, and usually do well in MLM if they apply themselves. They love change, and understand that change brings with it Growth, which is important to these folks. They cannot stand the status quo, and their favorite word is MORE .

And if you have not figured it yet, RECRUIT the folks who are OPEN

You know what OPEN stands for?

” Opportunity (and) Possibility Empowered Naturally”…

THAT is why they are powerful folks… they Empower Opportunity and Possibilities!!!

Open…

or Closed…

You Will Find Them Both in Home Business.

You will run into both in Network Marketing. Don’t take it personally if a person is closed to what you have to offer. They are closed to growth and expansion in their life for the most part, and probably will remain so.

Don’t waste your time trying to recruit them…get them as a customer…and see if they know anyone is is open to MASSIVE SUCCESS!

Is it vitamins?

Cosmetics?

Noni Juice?

Internet Products?

Make up?

Telecommunication services?

Travel services?

Wholesale Purchase program and Service?

The Real Network Marketing Deal.

If you are going to succeed in MLM, then you must know a few things…

What you market to the masses… the products you sell…

Are the COMPANY’S inventory, not yours.

YOUR Inventory is NOT the products you order from the company. Thay are the products that belong to the company, even though you may purchase them they are still the products of the company.

The compnay manufactures/developed them, and you simply are a messenger for the compnay to talk about them to others.

What is your REAL INVENTORY?

PEOPLE are your inventory… PERIOD!

Your Prospects, your Customers, and your Downline.

Let me repeat that…

Your Prospects, your Customers, and your Downline.

One more time…

Your Prospects, your Customers, and your Downline are your REAL Inventory.

And they always will be. What is your inventory looking like? No business can operate without enough inventory.

“Where ‘s the MLM Beef?”

If someone is struggling in this business, many times I will ask them to “Show me your inventory”… and they will look puzzled.

I will then precede to tell them that most folks who are struggling in MLM have a LOW Inventory of People…

And what business would last if their inventory constantly ran low?

And you must restock your inventory from time to time as well, as some inventory will become “outdated” and useless to your business…

As many distributors will as well…

If you are struggling in your business, take a look at your inventory. You may find a CLUE there.

Value is a part of our culture, and we must show value to the prospect in our Network Marketing Company, Products, and Comp Plan.

No Value… No Volume baby.

Let me ask you some questions:

Would you buy a house that you saw no value in?

How about a car?

How about a thousand dollar suit?

How about a Dress?

Would you even buy a pair of shoes that you saw no value in?

I didn’t think so…

Neither would I.

And no one is going to be recruited or buy a product that they see no value in for their life and future.

It’s ALL about Value in MLM Recruiting.

People want to know what’s in it for them.

They want to know there is value for their lifestyle in MLM.

Value in the Company.

Value in the Products.

And Value in YOU!!!

Give the prospect REASONS and BENEFITS to enroll in your company, or buy your product.

What do your products do that bring Value to a person?

What does your Business have that will bring Value to a person?

What do YOU have that will bring value to working with you?

You need to answer these questions…

” And the Value to you and your family is…”

“What this means to you is…”

” How this will enlarge and increase your life is…”

Remember:

No Value… No Volume.

NO Exceptions.

If you remember this Ruls you will start to see some massive things happen.

If you utilize this Rule your business iwll explode.

If you ignore it…you will see the the NO VOLUME happening.

That is not a good thing for your home based business.

Home business owners need to focus.

One ONE thing.

It is amazing.

One thing can change everything.

One thing can set things in motion-even home based businesses.

I hit this realization about 4 years into this great home business profession.

Knowing and understnadung things are crticial to the “filter” you have to process this business.

Some folks GET IT…others still have not.

What ONE THING am I talking about?

Do you know what business you are REALLY in in MLM?

Most would answer Nutrition, or Telecommunications, or Make up, or Wholesale Purchasing.

Even some might answer “people business”, or marketing, or even distribution.

Some people might answer that we are in the “dream” business, which to some degree holds some truth.

Others might answer that we are in the “talking” business, as we talk to people in Network Marketing.

The Leadership Factor.

And still, others might answer that we are in the “Leadership” business, which again, is partly correct.

But understanding which business we are in is EVERYTHING, as your approach to this business will ultimately lead to what is felt by the prospect.

Many folks are confused as to what business they are in, so the confusion is felt in their words and actions.

If you were working at a company, and you didn’t know what business they were in, would you last very long if you did not find out?

Would you be able to function in the capacity that you needed to?

You MUST Get This.

It is the same with Network Marketing... if you don’t “get it”, then the prospect never will… for they will feel the lack of focus on your part, and be hesitant to follow you…

And you will not be able to function as effective as you need to due to your lack of total understanding of what we really do in Network Marketing…

So what business are we REALLY in?????

The MLM business Leaders know they are in is the business of “Touching and Changing People’s lives”.

That’s it.

You are a Network Marketing change agent, and that means you are an agent to help create change in people’s lives, and improve them dramatically.

Your Goal.

And your goal, and ONLY goal is to change lives so you can

and EMPOWER them…

As they are what we all want in and out of life… in some format.

MLM Training – The 5 Secrets to Starting a Recruiting Conversation

building is about CONVERSATION.

The words you use- and do not use- can determine much of your home based business success.

In network marketing, you must FIRST come across a certain way-whether social media, facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, or just over the cell. You must sound comfortable and make the prospect comfortable.

Opening up conversation with people is for many an uncomfortable task.

It shouldn’t be.

Conversation is the secret to this business, and there are 5 very easy ways to open up a Network Marketing conversation with someone that you would like to meet.

But I must warn you!

DON’T come across like you are “up to something”.

People will read right through that. Keep your focus on serving the masses, and helping people solve life problems with your business and products, and simply wanting to meet a friend you have not met yet.

These ideas are very basic, but few do them when they are out and about.

Here are 5 ways:

1) “Compliment them on something they are wearing or carrying“.

People like to be noticed. Simple and plain. They like to be noticed for what they are “displaying” about themselves. What they are wearing or carrying is telling you a little bit about who they are…

I always start a compliment with a question:

“Would it be ok if I paid you a compliment about something I have noticed about you?”

Or if it’s a guy….

“You know, I don’t give out a lot of compliments, but I like that suit you have on. Very professional. Good cut.”.

This will set up anticipation, and not come across like you are phony, or insincere which many folks do…they have the wrong intentions when they compliment someone.

Plus people will feel good that you noticed!

2) “Ask for directions”.

I use to do this all the time when in a mall in a town I was new to. I would ask if they knew were a particular store was, or a place to eat.

Then I would say I am from out of town, or new to this neighborhood, and asked if they lived around here.

Then I would ask them if they had a family,hobby…etc.

Then I would say….”Maybe you can help me…you may know who I am looking for…”

3) “Ask what they do for a living”.

One of the most powerful things you can do when Networking, is ask a person “What do you do?”

Then ask another question about what they just said.

Then ask another question about what they just said…..and you will start finding out about them and who them might know to help you.

“Gotta card?” is a great way to extend this conversation into a later time.

4) “Carry a book on Success or Leadership and casually ask people if they had read it”.

Then ask them if they like to read and if they read Success and Leadership books. If they do, discuss the last one they read, and one they would recommend.

Get them talking about Success and ask them if they are a Student of Success. You will be surprised at the people you meet that are! And looking for a new future!

5) “Ask for their name after giving yours”.

This one is so simple, but few do it.

“Hi, my name is Doug. How are you? I apologize for asking this, what is your name? I have never had the pleasure of meeting you.”

This is such a simple way to meet people. You even apologize for bothering them for their name, which is a soft way of asking for it, and you almost always get it this way!

Open up as many MLM conversations as you can, and your home business will skyrocket!

Oh…here is one final opener:

Smile.

Look in their eyes.

Nod your head.

Stick your hand out to shake theirs.

And say…”I am sorry,but I don’t know who you are. My name is Mary, I am with ABC Company. May I have your name ?”

Open your eyes wide..

And SMILE as you are starting to build a successful Home based business!
