MLM Network Marketing Training-MLM Training- The 5 Secrets of SCORCHING MLM Training

Network Marketing Reality.

Network marketing training is imperative. You must have good training on many subjects, including Recruiting, Retailing, Prospecting, Contacting, Presenting, Getting the Decision, and Building a group. Those are just the start of a solid MLM Training program. You don’t need to be a marketing major but you will need elbow grease and the willingness to get out there.

But I have found after 22 years in this industry, that there are 5 main things that a great MLM Training program needs. Many folks who could have been superstars in the Direct Marketing industry never were, because of weak training.

There is a difference between Training and education. Education is classroom instruction. Training is in the trenches. It SHOWS the distributor what needs to be done, not just tell what needs to be done. So FIRST comes the education in a classroom style teaching, then comes the trenches and showing them how it is done. All great mlm training is done in this way, and it is a powerful way to empower your business.

What are the 5 things a KILLER mlm training should have?

1) A Duplicable Process.

This is common sense, and we have all heard it before. You need to have a step by step process that is easy to follow, and is a PATTERN that new folks can follow, and learn. we live in a sequenced based world, and we follow a sequence in everything we do. That is why that the process needs to be duplicable. If you cannot duplicate what you are doing, then you will have a hard time building any kind of a long term business.

2) Tools to Teach.

Every KILLER Training has Tools that the new person can use and master. These include cds, dvds, brochures, training manuals, online training, flash trainings, conference calls training, Saturday Training events, and one on one teachings.

There is a saying that I love- “It’s not just about Talent, but TOOLS.” MLM Training Tools are necessary to bridge the gap between inexperience, and experience with the new distributor. And one of the most powerful tools you can have at the start is a CD that you can listen to while in the car. This is a great way to learn the business, and ge the information inside your soul.

3) Complete Content.

Many companies I have been blessed to work with lacked COMPLETE training in their programs. They had some format of mlm training, but not covering ALL aspects of what a new distributor needs. This could include training even on what to do on a daily basis, product training, corporate training, compensation training, and even the start of Leadership training.

The question all trainig should answer is “What do I do next?” If that question is answered, then you can pretty much bet that the training program is close to complete if not complete.

4) A Success Path.

Every distributor needs a Success path. This is a Path that they travel, to hit the first goal or promotion in the Compensation plan. It has daily goals, daily activities, timelines, how many calls a day, how many sales a week, how many recruits a month, and how much volume a month. This Success Path will be a day by day, call by call, action by action plan that will actually steer the new peson to Success over a period of time.

A Success Path is only a Path, and not a magic bullet. It is up to the new person to walk it. Most new distributors will, if given the opportunity, and the road to travel.

Take MLM Training LIVE.

5) Role Playing.

There is NOTHING as powerful as Role Playing with the new distibutor. It gives them “Artifical Experience” that psychologically will prepare them for the real thing. It will help develop a “feeling” or “Pattern” of what to do and say, and handle any situations that come up. There is no feeling like when a new person “gets it” and understands what they are supposed to do, and how to do it, THEN doing it. It is imperative to Role Play with your new person. It gets them ready for the real thing, in a quick and powerful fashion.

These are the 5 Secrets of KILLER MLM Training, and what great training should have in Network Marketing training.

MLM Network Marketing Training-Clueless about Network Marketing?

Clueless About MLM?

Clueless About MLM?

MLM Network Marketing Training-Clueless about Network Marketing?

Clueless About Network Marketing?
By Cora L. Foerstner

A year ago, I began reading about real estate and residual income. My desire to become an entrepreneur was born. As I read, the term network marketing and its synonym multi-level marketing (MLM) kept popping
up. The authors of these buzz words didn’t bother
explaining or defining them. They assumed that I,
their eager reader, knew their meaning. I asked around, but no one had a clue as to what network marketing was. Thus began my quest to discover what I could about MLM, since its proponents boast that anyone could start a business for as little as a few hundred dollars. Finally, I struck gold. I stared open mouthed at my computer screen.

The name of the network marketing company jogged an old memory. In high school, I had known a young man who belonged to this company. A couple of times, he came to pick me up for a date, and before we left, he would clean my mother’s stove or refrigerator, showing her the miracles of his product. His goal, I assume, was to make money and dazzle me with his entrepreneur qualities. I was humiliated because my mother was taking advantage of him to get her kitchen cleaned and because this boy was embarrassing me – I wanted to go to a movie or to a party, and he was cleaning my mother’s appliances. I had the holy grail in my hand, but I felt apprehensive.

I told my colleague what I’d discovered. He shrugged and said, “It’s a pyramid scam.” But I found that the lure of residual income far outweighed my apprehensions. Today, I’m a proud network marketer, ready to give anyone, who is as clueless as I was about network marketing, my fledgling expertise.

Here’s the scoop. DEFINITION: Network marketing is a business that markets a line of products or several lines of products through independent salespeople. An independent salesperson is recruited; she, in turn, recruits other people; these people recruit others, and so it goes.

Each representative builds her own business with her recruits and their recruits under her, and she makes commission on the sales volume of her team. The people under the independent salesperson are called the downline. The potential for increasing the downline and earning money is exponential. SCAM or LEGIT BUSINESS:

When I was in high school and amorous young men were cleaning appliances, many fawned upon these companies. Let’s face it. There were lots of jokes. Most people didn’t make much money; they pestered their family and friends, and horror of horrors, they had garages filled with unused products that they had to buy to meet their quotas (a certain amount of the products a salesperson or team has to buy).

Times have changed. Today, major corporations and Fortune 500 companies, like AT&T, MCI, Citigroup, and IBM, have multilevel sales forces. The difference between network marketing and a pyramid scam is easy to explain. Network marketers sell products; they run businesses. A pyramid scam is a con. People give someone money in hopes that they can
get other people to give them money. The claim is that anyone can get rich just by finding other people to do the same. There is no product, no business. The people at the top make lots of money. The scam falls apart. This is illegal. People get arrested. THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY: Not all network marketing companies are created equal.

There are some excellent ones, some okay ones, and some down right awful, ugly ones. If you are looking for a network marketing company, you have to do your due diligence and make sure that you find an excellent one. Remember that you
are investing in your future. RESIDUAL INCOME: What network marketing offers is a way to create residual income, while working part-time.

Network marketing is not a “get rich quick” scheme. Those who succeed work hard, but they are creating something magical: residual income. You go to work, and you get paid. If you don’t go to work, you don’t get paid. This is linear income. Residual income doesn’t depend on you working. Think of an author, who writes a book and gets a royalty check year after year. Residual income, like royalty checks, keeps coming and allows people to retire, have the freedom to travel, and do other wildly pleasant
things.

MY 12 SUGGESTIONS FOR MLM NEOPHYTES FROM ANOTHER NEOPHYTE:

1. Don’t rush into network marketing. Look around and find a good company that suits you and your needs. Don’t get pressured into anything. Ask lots of questions of the network marketer you are talking to. Avoid high pressure people.
2. As soon as you finish reading this, run out and buy Wave 4: Network Marketing in the 21st Century by Richard Poe. I don’t know Richard Poe, but I do know that this book explains everything.
3. Find a company and product that you are EXCITED about. It’s hard to sell something you don’t believe in. Ideally, you want a product that people buy over and over again, month after month, year after year, and a company with values that are congruent with your values.
4. Look for a company that has
been around and proven itself. Someone who has been in network marketing and has experience might take a chance on a new company, but a novice should be more careful.
5. I’d suggested publicly traded companies. Their financial statements are public, and you can request their financial portfolio. Go to www.morningstar.com, or www.nasdaq.com, or www.valueline.com, or your favorite place and do some research. You just need the company’s ticket number, and you’re off and running. If you don’t feel confident doing this yourself, find a friend who knows something about stocks and financial statements, and ask her for help.
6. Check out the compensation plan. Is the commission fair? How often do it pay? Does excess sales money roll over? Does your team have to meet a quota? This could be a big drawback. If there are hefty quotas, you might find yourself buying products you don’t want. Poe’s book is priceless here; he explains the different commission plans.
7. Do you have to buy, store, deliver products? Most network marketing companies don’t do this any more. Most companies provide online or phone ordering, and the company distributes its products. You place an order, and they do the work.
8.
Training is very important. What kind of training program do they have? In network marketing, team members help each other build their businesses. In network marketing, if the people on your team are successful, you are successful.
9. How do you work your business? Face to face with people you meet? On the internet? Or a little of both? This is important. Are there hidden costs in marketing? Ask for details.
10. See if you can find any dirt on the company. Check with the Better Business Bureau. Are there complaints against the company? What kind of complaints? You can do this online. Know what you are getting into.
11. IMPORTANT: Make sure that you are willing to commit time and energy to building your business, 10 to 20 hours per week. If you have a family, make sure they are cool with this.
12.
Don’t quit your day job! At least not until you are making more money in network marketing than you are in your nine to five.

MLM Network Marketing Training- MLM Recruiting- The 4 Types of Prospect Personalities in Network Marketing

Doug Firebaugh

In MLM prospecting and recruiting, you will find many different types of folks out there. But we have found that there are basically 4 types of Network Marketing prospects. You need to understand a little about each. After having recruited personally over 350 people, and talked to over 10,000 folks, you learn a few things. Hope this helps.

The 4 Kinds of MLM Prospects.

Here are the 4 kinds of people you will run into when Retailing and Recruiting in Network marketing.:

1) The Complainers. (50%)

There is roughly about 50% of the population that falls into this category. And they are the ones that will be the most negative. The language of the complainer is simple: It is negative.

And they use words like:  “Never. Impossible”. “Scam”. “Rip Off.”  “Can’t”. “Broke”. “No way.” “Won’t”. “Used to be.” “No Use.” “Won’t ever happen.” “Fool.” “Can’t.” “Won’t.” “Lose.”

You get the idea.

And these folks are the ones that will find something wrong with just about everything, including what you are showing them.

“Oh come on! Don’t tell me you fell for that scam about anti aging- weight loss- energy gain- pie in the sky stuff! You are so easily deceived!”

And they will always give you reasons why the products will not work, the business will not work, the comp plan will not work, the distributors won’t work. And it goes on and on. Pray for them and see if they at least will try the product.

2) “People Who Think they Think”. (30%)

These are the mental robots of the world. They think they are thinking , but actually, everybody else is doing their thinking for them. Whatever “the crowd” is thinking, or believing, the “think they thinkers” are right in the middle of it, and that is dominating their life.

“OH! I saw on TV where these kind of products will kill you! There was 10 people who died of Vitamin C  pneumonia just last week! That stuff will make you sicker than a dog, or worse!! I know what I am talking about!”

“I heard about this kind of a business. Most people end up in jail, and I know someone who knows someone that got out just in the nick of time before the US Army invaded the company’s office with a full batallion of army tanks and paratroopers. They went straight into that big office. Actually it was a trailer in the desert so no one could find them! Is your company hiding too?”

They simply go along with what is called “Group Think”, and as you guessed it: Whatever the group is saying, so they parrot. And if you run into these type of people, understand that it is more important for them to be a part of the group and how they think, then to be exposed to something that could change their life!

The Thinker in Network Marketing.

3) “The Thinkers”. (15%)

These folks actually think for themselves, and they are quite independent. But the problem is:

The think. And they Think. And they think. And they Think. And they think.

And when you follow up with them, “Oh, I am still thinking about it”

And they think. And think. And think some more.

Many times, thinkers become parlayzed, because they THINK they will make a mistake, and then they THINK what will happen then.

Many are worriers because of what they are thinking, and there thoughts create the worry!

Get referrals. And give them 21 days to think about it, and if they are still thinking, then say ‘I am glad you are taking this so seriously. By the way, who do you know that would love to look younger-lose weight-like soft skin-loves the internet-earn an extra 500.00 a month?”

DON’T LET THE THINKERS THINK YOU RIGHT OUT OF THIS BUSINESS!

4) “The Doers”. (5%)

Simply, they are too busy doing to be slowed down with complaints, Group Think, and worrying over making a mistake.

They many times go- “Ready-FIRE-Aim!” They want to GET SOMETHING GOING!

“An imperfect plan engaged today is a million times more powerful than a perfect plan  engaged tomorrow.”- Bill Gates

Doers are simply focused on:

Creating. Building. Moving. Recruiting. Sharing. Talking. Meeting. Prospecting. Training. Learning. Increasing. Enlarging. Helping. leading. Attending.

Which one are you? You need to be a DOER!

A certain distributor asked a person to be on a recruiting call with her, because she needed someone to be on with her. “Just show up, and I will have my guest! Won’t try to sell you anything, but I need a guest on the call.”  Guess what?

They ended up signing up! Here is what she said:

“Hey, I need a favor. I gotta have someone on a conference call monday night so I will not look bad. Could you please help me for 10 minutes and you don’t have to say anything. They won’t try to sell you anything, just be my guest? It would really help me out!”

THAT is a DOER!  Your goal on every recruiting call should be to BLOW OUT THE LINES!

Study this training again, and make sure that you focus on finding Doers, not complainers in your MLM and Network marketing and powerful home based business

MLM Opportunities- The Top 7 Things You Need to Look For and Ask About.

MLM Network Marketing Training MLM Opportunities- The Top 7 Things You Need to Look For and Ask About.

Doug Firebaugh

The Network Marketing MLM Opportunity.

So, you have decided to jump into the Network Marketing Industry, and join a reputable company. Great Move! It will open up doors in your life that you never knew existed, and the personal development you will experience will be amazing.

But you may be thinking- what do I look for? What should I be asking? What should I be trying to find out?

The first thing you need to do, is ask yourself a question. “What type of product would I like to market? A tangible product, like vitamins? Or would I like a more intangible product like internet malls or legal services?” Once you decide that, you can have a direction to look towards and decide on.

Then you can start looking at MLM companies and doing some research. Research is KEY to finding out about Network Marketing Companies and what they have to offer.

Start looking and researching on the internet, and also call your Better Business Bureau, and see if there have been any complaints about that company.

The questions you should be asking are these:

1) How long has the company been doing business?

Many start up companies will not be around next year. Most MLM companies after three years are gone. If you are looking at a start up company, make sure they are well funded, and have good management to get it through the rough spots typical of MLM start ups. As a general rule, 3 years in business should be a minimum of considering a company.

2) What is the reputation of the owners and management?

Many great companies that could have been superstar companies are no longer around because of the decisions the owners made. This is true of real estate companies, mortgage companies, and any other entreprenurial ventures. Check the owners out. Ask questions, and do some research on them as well. What kind of reputation do they REALLY have? You will be glad you did if they have a past of possible questionable integrity.

3) Do they pay their checks on time?

Find out if they have missed paying any paychecks. If they have, this is NOT a good sign, and I would suggest to look at another company. This one has some problems you may not want to be a part of in the future.

4) Are people making money?

How many people are truly making money? Many times, hype can blind the truth. Do some research and find out if it is easy to make money with their pay plan, and if a lot of folks are. If many people are, that is a good sign. If it is a start up, and not many are making a lot of money yet, see what kind of compensation plan they have, and if it is “distributor friendly.” If it seems hard to  make money with the plan, then you have some thinking to do. It should be easy to make money in MLM.

The MLM Market Test.

5) What kind of market is out there for their products and services?

Here is a litmus test question for products: Would you buy these products outside of Network Marketing? If you would, you have a good product possibility, and probably a great market for it. If you would not, then you need to see what the true size of the marketplace is for the line of products. And, also, how many other like products are already out in the marketplace? Make sure that the market for the products is big, and available for you to market.

6) What kind of training and tools so they have?

Do their tools look professional? Does the website look like a professional website? Do their brochures, cds, and videos look and sound professional? If you are going to market products using these tools, make sure that they are of the quality that you can be proud of, and readily hand out. What kind training materials do they have? When are the trainings? Do they hold training events? Are there training conference calls and webcasts? Make sure you will have a training path to walk when you join a Network Marketing company.

7) Can you talk to some of the successful folks in the company?

You can tell a lot when looking at MLM companies, by talking to some folks who are successful. Do they try and hype you or honestly interested in your questions? Do they talk about themselves and all they have accomplished or what you can accomplish? Do they answer your questions, or dance around them? This will tell you a lot about what kind of people this company attracts, and what kind of culture that it has in the distributor field. Talk to at least three to five people. That will give you some feel for the company.

These are some of the things you need to consider when looking at Network Marketing companies. Do your homework, and don’t make a totally emotional decision. Do your research.

Here is a million dollar question:

What does your gut tell you about an MLM company? Listen to it. It is usually right, and probably is right on about what you are considering for a Network Marketing opportunity.

MLM Consultants- The 5 Things to Look for in a Great MLM Consultant

What to Look For in an MLM Consultant

What to Look For in an MLM Consultant

MLM Network Marketing Training- MLM Consultants- The 5 Things to Look for in a Great MLM Consultant

Doug Firebaugh

The MLM Network Marketing Consultant.

Consulting in MLM has gotten to be a big business in Network Marketing. Being one myself, I have found that there are good ones out there, and then there are well, not so good ones. You must know what to look for, before you spend a dime with them.

Many MLM Consultants are actually Network Marketers that say they are consultants. You must understand that consulting is a career and profession that demands many things, but being a Network Marketer does NOT automatically qualify one as an expert. Even if they have had great Success in MLM, that may be due to being in the right place at the right time, with the right people. That happens in Network Marketing often.

Here are the 5 things to look for in a good MLM Consultant:

1)A Track record that is available for Inspection.

Any good consultant, no matter the industry, will keep their track record available for any kind of inspection by a future client. They have nothing to hide, nor do they want to. The results they have accomplished speak for themselves.

Ask them if they have some clients you could talk to, or get some kind of testimonial. Track records in consulting can mean the difference between spending money and getting little, or spending money and getting a lot. Check what they have DONE, not what they said they have done. You will be glad you did.

2)Check for their Credentials.

What kind of solid credentials do they have that would warrant you spending money with them? What kind of education about MLM do they have? What kind of experience do they have in Network Marketing? Do they have the right business experience? Have they ever run a business before? What kind of degree do they have if applicable?

Credentials are important in modern day consulting, and not only for you, but also for the results you seek from an MLM Consultant. Most consultants have a portfolio they can show you. Ask for it, and study it. You will be glad you did.

3)Look for Professionalism.

Professionalism is a MUST in any field of consulting. Do they come across as a professional? Do they speak as a professional? Do they communicate in a professional manner? How do they handle themselves? How do they handle other people? Do they return phone calls in an efficient manner? Do they keep their phone appointments? Are they prepared for the appointment? Do they follow up in a professional manner? Are they pushy, or have your best interests at heart? Do they come across as honest and with integrity?

Being a professional speaks well of a consultant. But here is the KEY- are they CONSISTENT in all of the above? And do they do it with a smile on their face? These questions will tell a lot about an MLM Consultant and how they will handle things in any future endeavor.

4)Do they ask questions that are focused on your problem, or questions that are focused on being a consultant?

There are many questions that consultants ask that are all part of being a consultant. You want the kind of QUESTIONS that zero in on the solution to YOUR problem, not what they have learned to ask as a rote exercise. You are looking to hire them to solve a problem, not be a consultant. Make sure their questions are focused on moving you forward, not just creating conversation.

Brutal? Yes, Honest? Totally. MLM Consultants are not cheap, and if you are going to spend money, make sure that you get what you pay for, and get your challenge resolved. That is what MLM Consultants get paid for- to solve problems, not to engage in a fruitless boiler plate exercise.

5)Have they actually spent any time working Network Marketing and understand the culture, the philosophy, and what the REAL dynamics are to create Success in a group, and an MLM company?

I am amazed that there are “consultants” out there that have never spent an hour in the MLM field. They have never recruited anyone. They have never sold a product in MLM. They have never held a Company Event for a team.

They have never done a presentation around a kitchen table, or a home meeting. They have never explained an MLM Comp plan to people before, nor do they know how. But yet, they sell themselves as an MLM Consultant.

Make sure that there is SOME experience in the field, as that alone brings a wealth of knowledge that many do not have. It is not easy building a successful MLM group and business. If you have not done it, then you are coming as an MLM Consultant, from more of a position of weakness than someone who has, and can explain what it took, and how to do it. It makes a lot of difference in understanding the business of MLM as well.

Experience is a MUST and that includes also working in an MLM Company in some form. That can be as simple as being part of an ‘Inner Circle” team that was familiar with the workings of a Network marketing company. Having worked for an MLM Corporation is a big plus as well.

These are the 5 Traits you should look for in an MLM Consultant. There are more you need to consider, but these are the 5 MAJOR ones when considering MLM Consultants.

MLM Network Marketing Training-MLM Success-The 5 Biggest Reasons People Struggle in Network Marketing

Why Do People Struggle in MLM Home Business?

Why Do People Struggle in MLM Home Business?

MLM Network Marketing Training-MLM Success-The 5 Biggest Reasons People Struggle in Network Marketing

The Many Reasons for MLM Failure.

There are many people out in the industry that are having some real struggles in their recruiting efforts, and it seems to be something that is industry wide…

Many people are saying it is the times… the economy… it was September 11… It is harder than it used to be… people have changed… many reasons I have heard…

But in reality, people are people, and always will be, and few things ever change… there seems to be something I have noticed though that is happening that can KILL your recruiting…

It seems to be happening more to the folks that have been in MLM for a while, than the new folks… and it is hurting a lot of paychecks…

There seems to be a poisonous lack of belief in what folks are doing…

And this had me puzzled, as it seems stronger than usual… and today I felt lead to write about this, and why I believe it is happening…

There are 5 basic reasons why folks are struggling today when recruiting, and it does not matter who it is, male or female, or how successful you have been or have not been.

But is also involves not only BELIEF… but also the word EASY…

Recruiting is easy, if you believe it is, and you believe in what you are doing, but if you don’t… then the fruit of that is struggle… and there are many people who use this as an excuse to ever get the results that they want… it is very convenient to but into what others are saying…

Here are the 5 reasons that folks are struggling today in Network Marketing:

1) “Its easier to Believe that it WON’T happen… than it WILL…”

That is so true… many folks fall into the trap of believing what WON’T happen… vs. what WILL… and many are sabotaged by the easier route and effort of believing…

I call it “The Path of Easiest Belief”... the path most take in this industry…

And through Life…

It is easier to hang onto the excuses that we have and believe that recruiting won’t work, than taking the time to GROW ourselves into the level of belief that ATTRACTS Success, vs REPELS it… and when you have that kind of belief, your prospect can feel it radiating from you and your voice… and presence…

Are you taking the EASY Route?

2) “It’s Easier to Believe what is considered Normal than Abnormal…”

Success is abnormal.

Most people in life don’t Succeed… they Succumb… to the Lies from other people… about how you can never build a business in MLM… only the “Lucky Few” ever get to the top… and if you do succeed… it’s abnormal… you are going against the grain…

I prefer to call it “Growing against the Grain”… you must grow beyond those “Normal people” that are holding you back…

Recruiting is a process based on Communication… and your Belief and Conviction of that Communication… and what is considered “Normal” in life…

Is easier to believe in Normal.. than what is considered “Abnormal”…

Are you just Normal… or flat out Abnormal and refuse to believe and succumb to the lies?

3) “It’s easier to believe what you have been told a lot, than told a little…”

“You will never do it.”

“It’s too hard.”

“Recruiting is bugging your friends.”

“You don’t have what it takes.”

“Recruiting and MLM is waste of time… “

“When are you going to get a REAL job?”

That is what we all hear… (smile)… but what we need to hear is:

“You can do it. You have what it takes. Listen to those who have succeeded… not those who have succumbed…”

Are you?

4) “It’s easier to believe in others… than you…”

We when recruiting, believe that others are smarter than we are, more educated than we are, more savvy than we are, and they know more about ourselves than we do… and it impacts our recruiting tremendously…

We have many people who influence us, and we care about… but here is the million dollar question…

Can they take you to where you want to go in MLM?

Or…

Can they STOP you from going where you want to go in MLM?

Both answers are called a CLUE!

5) “It’s easier to LEAVE… than BELIEVE…….”

Most folks don’t stay.

At what they do in life… and Network Marketing

Why?

In recruiting, we take this ‘Leaving” belief with us… as we see most folks leave their success path in most of what they have attempted in life…

It’s easier to create an EXCUSE… than to keep going and create a new BELIEF…… and we fall prey to that in MLM…

Are you recruiting prospects with an EXIT sign in your eyes?

Deep down… are you expecting you will eventually leave this industry , because it is easier to Leave than believe? Do you honestly doubt it will work?

Understand… people FEEL first… then HEAR…

What are your prospects feeling from you? A solid “Hard Core Belief” in what you are doing… or a solid “Path of Easiest Belief” that they are turned off by?

Believe that recruiting is EASY… and Recruiting will be… believe that is it HARD… and it WILL be…

Believing in recruiting may be a little hard for you now…but it is a whole lot easier than struggling through life…the rest of your life… just to be
“Normal”…

Is that what you REALLY want for you and your family and your Network Marketing business?

Your Call…

Blessings…

MLM Opportunities- The Top 7 Things You Need to Look For

7 Things To Look For In An MLM Company

7 Things To Look For In An MLM Company

MLM Network Marketing Training MLM Opportunities- The Top 7 Things You Need to Look For

The MLM Decision.

So, you have decided to jump into the Network Marketing Industry, and join a company. Great Move! It will open up doors in your life that you never knew existed!

But you may be thinking- what do I look for? What should I be asking? What should I be trying to find out?

The first thing you need to do, is ask yourself a question. “What type of product would I like to market? A tangible product, like vitamins? Or would I like a more intangible product like internet malls or legal services?”

Once you decide that, you can have a direction to look towards and decide on.

Then you can start looking at MLM companies and doing some research. Research is KEY to finding out about Network Marketing Companies and what they have to offer. Start looking on the internet, and also call your Better Business Bureau, and see if there have been any complaints about that company.

The questions you should be asking are these:

1) How long has the company been doing business?

Many start up companies will not be around next year. Most MLM companies after three years are gone. If you are looking at a start up company, make sure they are well funded, and have good management to get it through the rough spots typical of MLM start ups. As a general rule, 3 years should be a minimum of considering a company.

2) What is the reputation of the owners and management?

Many great MLM companies that could have been superstar companies are no longer around because of the decisions the owners made. This is true of real estate companies, and any other entreprenurial ventures. Check the owners out. Ask questions, and do some research on them as well. You will be glad you did if they have a past of questionable integrity.

The Million Dollar Network Marketing Question.

3) Do they pay their checks on time?

Find out if they have missed any paycheck.

If it is a start up, and not many are making a lot of money yet, see what kind of compensation plan they have, and if it is “distributor friendly.” If it seems hard to ake money with the plan, then you have some thinking to do. It should be easy to make money in MLM.

5) What kind of market is out there for their products and services?

Here is a litmus test question for products: Would you buy these products outside of Network Marketing? if you would, you have a good product, and probably a great market for it. If you would not, then you need to see what the true size of the marketplace is for the line of prodcuts.

Make sure you will have a training path to walk when you join a company.

This will tell you a lot about what kind of people this company attracts, and what kind of culture that it has in the filed. Talks to at least three-five people. That will give you some feel for the company.

These are some of the things you need to consider when looking at Network Marketing companies. Do your homework, and don’t make a totally emotional decision.

Here is a million dollar question: What does your gut tell you? It is usually right. Especially about Network Marekting and MLM Opportunities.

MLM Network Marketing Training -The 5 Traits of a GREAT MLM Consultant

mlm five consultant

The MLM Consultant.

The MLM Consultant Asks the Right Questions.

Blessings…

MLM Compensation Understanding Your MLM Compensation Plan

Compensation StructureMLM Network Marketing Training – Understanding Your MLM Compensation Plan.

What Is Your MLM Plan?

Money.

That is what drives the MLM industry…the quest for a better life, a better future, and a better income.

Why did you join your Network Marketing company?

For something to do?

Yeah…right.

That is why 99% of all folks who enroll in MLM companies join…for a better lifestyle…and the hope of making more money is what drives the industry…

Every company has a way they pay their distributors, known as a “Compensation Plan”..or “Comp Plan”. Your company has one and that is how you are paid…by the volume you have created by the Comp Plan.

You go out, and create Volume of sales, and you get a certain percentage of the sales. Most plans focus on the sale, or movement of products and services to the marketplace, and that is what drives the wealth vehicle.

There are different types of Comp Plans, and there are many more Hybrid forms…but generally there are 5 different types, and you need to really understand the Plan that your company has.

The 5 Basic Kinds of Compensation Plans.

1) The Stairstep
2) The Unilevel
3) The Binary
4) The Breakaway
5) The Matrix

1) The Stairpstep is a simple plan that has requirements that you must meet to get up the “Stairs of Success”…each stairstep is a promotion based on Volume usually, and each promotion you make more money. Usually you must qualify each month for the rank you obtain to get paid at that rank. And the stairstep usually has a number of levels it pays down to.

2) The Unilevel is a simple “Number of levels” that the company will pay you, and usually there is no promotion or rank. You make money by getting a certain override off of the volume, and usually there is a requirement of volume to qualify for a check.

3) The Binary.

The Binary is an interesting design for a Comp Plan. It usually has 2 “legs” that you can have “Business centers” in, and you have a volume requirement to get paid on each leg. There is what is called “balance” in the Binary…you must balance the volume form each leg to make sure you don’t have a runaway leg…one leg explodes, while the other one sits idle…you must balance the two, and you usually can override the same volume a number of times with different business centers.

4) The Breakaway.

This plan has become somewhat unpopular in the MLM industry, as you lose the business you build, once it gets to a certain level of success, and it “breaks away” to no longer be a part of what you get paid on. It usually is a stairstep type of Plan, but I have seen it in others as well.

5) The Matrix

The matrix is a computer driven plan that people are put into your group by computer, and they go in the next available slot. Usually this plan is combined with some form of a Binary, and it does work well if there are a lot of people that are recruited. When you recruit someone, the computer searches down for the next open slot, and positions them there. There are some plans that allow you to override the computer’s selection if you want them to go a particular place in your downline.

Don’t Complicate the MLM Comp Plan.

Ok…so now you must see what kind of plan you have…see your upline if you have any questions at all, and get familiar with the plan you have and how it works.

INFERNO Secret:

DO NOT get too complicated on telling the plan to someone. Keep it simple and make sure they understand that they CAN MAKE MONEY with it…as that is their greatest concern.

Generally, when you talk about a Comp Plan, you will want to mention 4 general areas about it that many people will want to know about….

1) The First area is Retail Profit.

You must show the prospect that they can earn a retail profit with your products and services…usually it about 50%…

2) The Second Area is Team Overrides.

This is where, just like a Real Estate broker, or Insurance Broker, you can develop a team of Reps and help them become successful, and get paid a certain % of override off of them, just like the Real Estate and Insurance Brokers do.,,,,,

You are sort of a “Master Broker” for your company, and help others do the same thing. This is where most people have trouble with MLM….they don’t understand that what we do is just like a Real Estate or Insurance Broker…only better.

3) The Third Area is Leadership Bonuses.

This is where you help develop Successful leaders in your group, and you get an additional bonus or override form your group….you get rewarded by helping others develop their Leadership….the most fair compensation in the world.

4) The Fourth Area are Rewards…like trips and cars.

This area is a favorite among Network Marketers…..once you have reached a level of success, many companies will give you an additional car payment money, and also take you on trips that you can qualify for…a great incentive to work!!!

Be sure you understand the components of your Comp Plan…this was just a VERY General Overview, and that is all.

Again…..KEEP THE PLAN SIMPLE.

The More Simple you keep it, the more powerful it becomes in your MLM Business.

Blessings…
