1. Product Trier.

This is where all product users start. They TRY the product. They like the product. But it all starts with the product. You MUST get the prospect to TRY your product through a sample or buying a retail product.

Sharing the product is the secret to starting a customer towards the path to becoming a distributor.

2. Product Buyer.

This is where they try the product and love it, and then buy it. They have proven they like what the product does, and want to own the product. This is a natural progression form trying to buying for those who like the product and want to make sure they don’t run out of the product anytime soon.

3. Product User.

This is where they have purchased multiple times and have proven to be a loyal user of the product. Many of them order auto ship or have a regular appointment with their direct sales consultant.

4. Product Sharer.

This step is where the customer starts to talk about the product to their friends and family and then shares some information with them. Then they get their direct sales/home business rep to talk to them and then sell them a product.

But….they have missed out on the business at this step!

5. Distributor or Consultant.

This is where the customer has shared the product with some folks and sees a potential business that they can build. And decides that is what they are going to do.

And then they do it. They move to start building their own customer base and distributor/consultant team.

This 5 step process of moving from a customer to a distributor/consultant is one of the most powerful ways to recruit. They are already SOLD on the product and they are already sold on the business model as they have experienced it.

If you focus on your customers and talk to them about who they know you can talk to about your products, you are halfway there to recruiting another distributor/consultant on your mlm home business team.
