The MLM Landmine.

There are many things that can take you out of Network Marketing, and MLM. I call them “MLM Land Mines.” These are things that can sneak up on you, and blow you right out of the water, and totally out of Success. If you understand these three things, you will find that Success will be much easier to obtain, and your Network Marketing business will be able to stay on track.

What is a Land Mine?

It is something that is used in a battle, that is buried underneath the ground, and when someone steps on it, it blows up. It is the same principle with MLM. You are in a battle yourself. It is a battle between Success and Mediocrity, and the battlefield is your thinking. It can be a fierce battle as Success intimidates a lot of people, and many times your friends will not want you to walk that Success Path in network marketing.

The three MLM Land Mines are easy to spot, if you know where they are, and what they look like.

So…what are they?

1) The Land Mine of Listening to the WRONG PEOPLE.

Many times, we can be really on a roll, and having Success in MLM, and when something goes wrong, then the people start talking. The Negative Crowd shows up, and starts telling you that they were right,and you are going to fail. They tell you that you are stupid for wanting more in life, and you should be happy where you are.

What Success do they have in their life that gives them the right to try and steal yours?

If you are not careful, their words will blow up your dreams, and you will end up discouraged and wanting to quit. NEVER listen to the Wrong People.

Who are the Wrong People? Negative, limiting, and never going anywhere folks who want everybody else to go nowhere. God bless them, but they are not focused on making a life, but simply living a life.

Beware of that Land Mine.

2) Doubting what your Dreams are telling you.

This MLM land Mine is a big one. Your dreams can tell you that you are on your way, and Success in Network Marketing is right around the corner, and then you start falling back in that rut of Doubt and Hesistation.

STOP RIGHT THERE!

Don’t take another step towards that MLM Land Mine. Evrything you need to Succeed in MLM you already have in your heart. Just put your business on “Automatic Dream Pilot” and let your dreams steer you around these Land Mines, and around what your thinking is telling you.

You WILL SUCCEED, if you simply let your Dreams pilot your Success Vehicle.

3) Thinking that you will give this business a certain amount of time, and if it has not happened by then, then it is not going to happen.

This Land Mine is one that has taken millions out of this business. And it is NOT the way you work Network Marketing.

You work MLM on IT’s TERMS, not yours.

You must give MLM the time that is needed to grow YOU first, then grow the business. A tree does not grow in 6 months, and an MLM business will not grow in 6 days. You must give it time, and the time that is required to Succeed.

The timing factor is different for everyone and where it may take one person 3 months to ignite a SuccessFire in their business, it may take you a year. Give to your business TOTAL committment, and and TOTAl decision to go the distance. And you will find that your Success path has been cut down considerably, as people respond totally different to a person that has an I will not be denied focus, and whatever it takes mind set.

Beware of these MLM Land Mines, and make sure that you steer clear of them. You don’t want them to take you out of the Success game, and out of the MLM Wealth Machine that is possible for your life and future.

You are a Winner, and this battle is easy to win. Just be careful of what lies underneath your Network Marketing Success Path.

Traits of a Good MLM Training Newsletter

A good MLM training newsletter is worth a million dollars to a distributor in Network Marketing. Many Network Marketing newsletters/ezines can be found out there, and there are some really good ones. But there are also some newsletters that are not so good.

What do you do? Subscribe to them all and read them for a year, and then decide yourself? (You’ve got to be kidding!)

You don’t have to. We have already done that. We subscribed to over 100 MLM training ezines, (whew!) and found some really good ones, and others that are ones we cannot recommend. (There were 14 total people that read the newsletters regularly, and the top 17 list is the consensus of the 14 people.)

The Network Marketing Criteria.

What were the criteria that we used to look at these network marketing newsletters?

1) Constant fresh and unique training content.

We looked for a consistency in content, and fresh content. Many newsletters we found ran some of the same articles in their ezine. Others changed the titles, and kept the content the same.

We simply asked this question: Is the content unique and fresh and trains folks, not just motivates them. Many ezines were a lot of motivation, but little training. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you are looking for a training newsletter, it can be a little frustrating. What we found is that many were highly motivational, but not educational. We support motivation by all means! But we could not include them in our top 17 MLM training ezine list.

2) Delivery of the newsletter regularly.

We found that many ezines were emailed out every once so often, and not on any kind of a schedule. We felt that if you are going to be depending on a training letter as a way to learn this business, then you need to know that the delivery of content will be consistent, and dependable.

Either once a week, or twice a month was the average delivery time of the most read newsletters, and that seems to be what people are looking for.

3) Topics focused on for what the distributor needs to learn to succeed.

The best newsletters we found had a focus of topics that would be what the average networker would need to know to create a successful business. These topics include recruiting, prospecting, approaching people, handling objections, doing presentations, following up, closing, training, building a downline, motivating your group, leadership, personal development, doing events, new distributor training, and advanced training in MLM and Network Marketing.

Many of the newsletters were too focused on one or two topics, and never varied for a more complete training program. There is nothing wrong with that, but a total training focus is what we were looking for.

4) The Look and Feel of the MLM training newsletter.

Many of the newsletters were only text, no graphics, but had great content. Many of the newsletters looked incredible, but their content was very weak. We found that the best training MLM newsletters had both. Even the text ezines were well put together, and had great content. A great example of that is Tom Big Al Schreiter’s Fortune Now Newsletter. It contains great stuff and it’s all text.

The feel of the training ezine was also important. Did they come across like authority writing? Was the feel of it directing, leading, and teaching people? Was the feel of the newsletter friendly and warm, or cold? This was another factor that was part of the over all consideration.

5) Did the newsletter want you to tell others about it?

This was a real big consideration. We talked to some folks that had subscribed to many of them, and they all basically said the same thing: The newsletters that they were talking about were the same ones.

This was important, as the content needs to be exciting, and strong enough for people to want to tell their team about it.

These were the 5 Most Important considerations of the Top 17 MLM Training Newsletters. There were other considerations as well, like popularity on search engines, ease of subscribing, reprints on sites, etc.

1) Don’t Recruit Anyone.

Let me ask you a question: Would you like to be recruited because someone wants you to become a paycheck to them? Of course not. That is why that most people don’t want to feel like they are being recruited either.

Dont’ recruit anyone. Solve a life problem that they have with your business. Find out what they want to change form the better in their life, and then show them how you can your Network marketing business can help.

2) Don’t do a presentation.

When you are doing a presentation, manyn times, people feel they are being “pitched” like a used car salesman, and are turned off by it. That is not what you need to do.

Don’t do a presentation. Hold A Conversation, that contains the detatils of what you want to cover. People feel so much more comfortable with a conversationb, than being pitched a new deal, a new thing, a new opportunity.

When you hold a conversation, people are put at ease, and the red flags that go up with a “pitch” are not there, and people will listen more closely to you.

3) Don’t follow up.

When you are following up, it feels like you are following up to sell them, or recruit them. that is going to set the red flags up a lot.

Don’t follow up. RECONNECT.

When you reconnect, there is a whole different feeling, and a whole different result. You are reconnecting to simply see if a person has any questions, and to see how you can help. You are reconnecting to simply let them know you only want what is best for them, and their family.

The question all training should answer is “What do I do next?” If that question is answered, then you can pretty much bet that the training program is close to complete if not totally complete.

Every distributor needs a Success path. This is a Path that they travel, to hit the first goal or promotion in the Compensation plan. It has daily goals, daily activities, timelines, how many calls a day, how many sales a week, how many recruits a month, and how much volume a month. This Success Path will be a day by day, call by call, action by action plan that will actually steer the new peson to Success over a period of time. It also includes a day by day Personal Development Program that develops the new distributor on the inside.

A Success Path is only a Path, and not a magic bullet. It is up to the new person to walk it. Most new distributors will, if given the opportunity, and the road to travel.

MLM Presence.

Does yours work FOR you, or AGAINST you? 

Good question!  Many times, in a Recruiting session, your presence totally will set the environment for how the recruiting conversation or appointment goes. Your MLM Recruiting Presence says more to the prospect many times than the words you choose to vocalize. It is the one single influencing factor that many times will determine if your prospect will join you or not. It is that powerful of a factor in Network Marketing recruiting.

I am so honored and blessed to work with a lot of folks around the world, and one of the biggest problems I see with the struggling Network Marketer, is the lack of “Success Presence” in their demeanor.  They come across like they are anything but Successful, let alone on their way to Success. You MUST have a Magnetic Presence to recruit effectively.

What exactly is Presence in MLM?

It is the “Aura” or “Feeling” that people feel from you and get when they are around you. 

It is the “Instinctive Feeling” that is triggered in people when they see you. 

It is the “Knowing” that people can have about you, and who they perceive you to be.

Have you ever been around someone that you didn’t know why, but you simply didn’t feel comfortable being around them, something just wasn’t “right?” Something about them made red flags go off in your instincts.

That was their presence that you were feeling.

Have you ever met someone and immediately felt comfortable with them? It was just something about them, and how they looked at you and how they made you feel so good? 

That was their presence you were feeling.

One of the Biggest Secrets to MLM Recruiting is creating a “Magnetic Presence” so people are literally attracted to talking to you and want to be around you.

Let’s take a test about your presence and see how you come out:

Here are 10 Insightful questions: 

1) Does your Presence have a “warmth” about it that people enjoy being around? 

2) Does your Presence say “I am interested in YOU”, or “I am interested in ME?” 

3) Do you look people in the eye 90% of the time and stretch you hand out first to shake hands? 

4) Is your body language open, and receptive to creating and catalyzing new friendships, or is it closed and expecting people to come to you ? 

5) Do your conversations focus on the PROSPECT and what they are interested in, or focus on YOU and what YOU are interested in? 

6) Do you have a Confidence about you and your business, and do they hear a sincere BELIEF in your words , or a lack of it when you talk to folks? 

7) Do you VALIDATE the prospect, and make them feel good about who they are, or constantly Validate YOU and make you feel good about who you are? 

8) Do you smile easily, and make others smile, or smile rarely, and make others uneasy? 

9) Do you have a focus of “helping others” or “hyping others”? 

10) Do you come across as a LEADER, or a “Feeder” who feeds their own self interests first

These are some tough MLM questions!

You must understand that your Presence is what we call: “Your Silent Calling Card”. It is the first thing someone sees and feels about you, and will determine a lot of their first (And probably last) impression. It will determine a lot about the Success in Network Marketing Recruiting.

 The MONEY MLM Magnifier.

 

That is an awesome thought! And so true. Money is an amazing thing. It can create, and destroy. It can magnify and clarify. And it can intensify and multiply you. But many networkers I have observed, and with my own experience, that many people who have never really had that much money before can be perceived differently once they have “hit it big” in MLM. Many people say, “They have changed…they are not the same people”.

 

Oh really? We need to take a closer look.

 

Most people today live in a financial pressure cooker. Their world revolves around that 8×10 envelope with a paycheck in it. And the lack of money magnifies their concern for the future, and their concern for even survival. Money also magnifies their emotions and feelings outwardly.

 

Financial Pressure can do some interesting things to relationships and marriages. And when the slightest “crack in the armor” appears, and the real person starts to show up, money magnifies that tremendously.

 

Most people today in MLM are clueless to the fact that the lack of and the abundance of money can magnify everything about them, good or bad. And many times, money can work against you as far as your life. It magnifies things that people are not aware of.

 

Ok….what are those things?

 

Money magnifies three things that will determine if you truly are wealthy or not. As my mentor taught me…”Being rich is about possessions. Being wealthy is about what you do with them”. In other words, being rich is about having a lot of money.

 

Being wealthy is about having lifestyle to go with it. And money can magnify your focus to a large extent in you life. There are many rich people out there who don’t live a wealthy lifestyle. Their money magnifies their fear of losing it, or not being worthy of it, or fear of  not being able to repeat it.

 

The three things that money magnifies are:

 

1)      “Your Relationship to Money”.

 

You either have a scarcity relationship with money, or you have an increase relationship with it. Most of how we view money we heard growing up, and it was magnified in our life:

 

“What do you think I am made of…money?”

“Money doesn’t grow on trees!”

“Money is the root to all evil”.

“ Things are tight this month”.

“I have enough money to pay my bills”.

 

THAT is scarcity thinking about money, and that is magnified in your life, and it then is magnified even more with the lack of money being constant.

 

If you have suddenly have money from MLM, and have never had it before, and you have a scarcity relationship with money, that will be magnified in your life. And the money will go eventually away if you don’t change your relationship.

 

You need to have a healthy relationship and expectation for money. If you do, increase will be magnified in your life, and the money will magnify that fact by showing up in boat loads from Network Marketing.

 

2)      “ Your Relationship with Others”.

 

Money magnifies how you really interact with people. If you have the financial pressure as most do, the lack of money will magnify that in your conversations, and who you hang around with.  Money  magnifies the concern in conversations, and thoughts. Listen to how a lot of people obsess about lack of money. And that obsession is magnified in their life.

 

And if you want to find out how people really relate to others, watch them when they are down and out, and watch them when they are financially secure. Most people will not act the same. Money magnifies and clarifies your relation ship with others by your words, emotions, and how you interact, with and without pressure.

 

I have seen many people who suddenly hit it big, treat others differently than they did when they were on their way up. The true relationship with others emerges and is magnified with the money being in overabundance. Make sure that when you hit it big, money magnifies your ability to treat people the same no matter what. THAT will be success seeds worth sowing.

 

3)      “Your Relationship with Yourself”.

 

Simply, money magnifies how you feel about you. I have seen many people in MLM when they get money, completely change physically, due to tucks, snips, lifts, augmentation, and lipo. They did not like how they looked, and wanted to fix it. When money showed up, that discontent was magnified, and intensified.

 

If you feel good about yourself, money will not really change you much. Money will magnify that to everyone. If you are not happy with you, money will magnify that fact as well.

 

How do you REALLY feel about you? Get a lot of money and you will find out quickly, as it is being magnified  to you in your life.

 

Money truly is a magnifier. It will enlarge and put in focus what most people don’t know about you, good or bad. Make sure that money magnifies only the best about you, as that is what you want to sat in focus, and be seen crystal clear. Money will magnify and expose who you really are. Nature will naturally take care of that. How do I know?

 

MONEY= Magnification Of Nature Exposing  YOU.

I had an upline once tell me, who by the way, has done 6 BILLION in this industry, that you need to work your business fast, not slow, and rapidly, not timidly. I listened to him, and went to work speeding up my efforts and focus, and increase the speed of everything I did. I did not become a maniac, but did put more activitiy in an hour than I used to. I have found there are Three Major Reasons for Working Network Marketing Fast:

1) The right people have a tendency to show up if you work this business fast and the wrong people have a tendency to show up if you work this business slow.

That is so true.

Because when you work this MLM business fast, you exude a certain energy that attracts the right people, and also they can see that you are someone that really wants to get things done.

People have a tendency to be attracted to higher energy people, and when you display that energy, it does act like a magnet and draw people towards you at a quicker pace, and in everything you do.

2) You have a tendency to be more focused, more determined, and more serious.

People who are determined, focused, and serious, do not play with this business. They are like a heat seeking missile — dead on to the target and won’t be denied. Working MLM slow has little appeal to them.

Focus is a key element for Success in a home business, and when you become more focused, it has a tendency to build your determination, and seriousness of your efforts. It will require focus for you to put more activity in an hour, as well as determination to keep you focused.

3) Your thinking and mindset changes.

When you kick it into overdrive, and do more activity in a day than most do in a week, you will find your whole perspective on this business changes.

And you will realize what it really takes to succeed massively in MLM, and life itself.

Will it be FAST MLM or Slow for you?

Will it be Fast Network Marketing or Slow for you?

Are you now working FAST or slow?

The word FAST in MLM stands for:

“Fuel Accelerating Success Track”

Truly, working this business fast is a Success Fuel for your life!

The word Slow stands for:

Stagnation (and) Losing Over-power Winning”…

It seems that Stagnation and Losing many times become too strong of a resisting force to Win at MLM, when you work slow.

Yes, you can succeed at network marketing working it slow, but most of the millionaires I have met(including my former upline’s success and mine) in the industry have worked it in overdrive, to fight and overcome stagnation and losing in the long run.

What is your choice???

There are certain traits that you look for in a good MLM lead. After working a TON of leads, and blessed to having  built an organization worldwide, I have found that all good MLM Lead have 5 traits in common, with no exception.

 

These traits you look for, and if you find that a lead has at least 3 of them you have a great possibility for your business. And MLM Leads can also end up being one of the best revenue sources for you, but first, find these traits. If you do, you will strike GOLD. These traits are common sense in many respects, but many times are rare to find.

 

1)      A GREAT Personality.

 

One of the KEY traits that we have found is an infectious personality. A personality  that truly shines and glows. You can feel their warmth over the telephone, and sincerity. They have the type of personality that you simply want to be around, and talk to.

 

You know the type. For whatever reason, you ENJOY the conversation with them, and they are always positive, and optimistic. They have a tendency to make you glad that you talked to them, and you are drawn towards them

 

This type of MLM Lead can be a gold mine, as they usually hang out with people of the same personality, and same outlook on life. They rarely are down, and when you call them they always seem glad you called.

 

 

2)      High Energy.

 

Another KEY trait to look for is High Energy. But let me be clear: High Energy is NOT hype. There are many folks out there that you will call that will try to HYPE you into believing you have found the GOLD MINE you have been looking for, and will tell you all about how great they are.

 

High Energy people don’t really talk that much about themselves, but what they are doing. They focus on the engagement of actions and results, and you can FEEL their energy radiate form the phone and any communication they do. They can GET THINGS DONE, and refuse to quit during adversity. Plus, they have a great approach to Success in Life and Network Marketing- they have a philosophy of WHAT ARE WE WAITING ON?

 

3)      Great People Skills.

 

This trait is HUGE. They MUST feel comfortable with people. Especially people they do not know. In MLM, you will communicate and work with a lot of folks that you do not know. And if you find that your MLM Lead has great people skills, you will have found a great potential for Success in network marketing.

 

People skills include friendliness, good listener, sincere, great communicator, and loves people. If a person truly loves people, they will go a LONG WAY to being a Success as an MLM lead.

 

4)      A Good Listener.

 

An MLM Lead that is a good listener will end up being a better recruiter than most. Recruiting is all about listening to the prospect. If you find that the MLM Lead asks questions, and then LISTENS and them asks more questions, you have found a good possibility for a recruit. Listening is the MASTER skill in Communication in Network Marketing, and Recruiting. A good listener is hard to find, but they are out there.

 

Does the MLM Lead talk more than they listen?

 

Do they try and dominate the conversation?

 

Do they try and impress you?

 

 If this is the case, they probably do not have a great listening pattern established. But if they do listen to you, ask questions, and then ask more questions that make sense to ask, then you have found a potential gold mine for recruiting and building an organization.

 

5)      Available when they said they would be.

 

This is a HUGE trait that many MLM leads do not have. If a prospect says to call them back in 2 days, and you do, and they continue the conversation as before, you have a good one. Many MLM leads will not available at the time you call, because they had no intention to begin with of doing your business. A person of their word, who shows up for a return call like they said they would, is a person of integrity.

 

Many people will attempt to play hide and seek as an MLM lead, and that is just part of the business. If they do not show up like they said they would, that is an issue that you may want to consider in the future, as all Future Great Leaders keep their word.

 

And here is a BONUS Trait- DISSATISFIED.

 

A Great MLM lead MUST be dissatisfied with their income, life, future, or something. You are to help them change what they are not happy with in their life, with your products and company. If they are Dissatisfied, then that means they are probably LOOKING for something better. Help them find it.

 

These are the 5 Traits you should look for in a great lead. Yes, there are other traits that you will MLM leads, but these are the ones that we found to be worth GOLD in this business of working MLM Leads in Network Marketing.

There is something that I have been observing over the last couple of years that seems to be a common problem with many people in the Network Marketing industry.

Many people in Home Based Businesses and Network Marketing operate their enterprises today with little or no Power of Success in them. Strategies and tactics are  very important in operating your business, but even the  best tactics of prospecting and recruiting will not yield you  the Success you seek, if you lack the power to drive them.

It is the same if your car was running on half power, and you were expecting it to accelerate quickly, and it does not. You get out, check the engine, and see that everything seems  ok, all the wires are plugged in, battery seems ok, you have gas, but yet it simply will not go any faster than 20 mph.

Why?

The MLM Power BOOST.

Your vehicle is lacking the “Power Boost” that it needs to go faster, and get you to your destination. It’s pistons are not firing correctly, the timing is off, and the spark plugs are dirty and need cleaning, plus there is blockage in the fuel lines.

Your vehicle is missing, and missing badly.

Here is my question: Is there Blockage in your MLM Success Fuel line?

Many a Direct Sales and Home Business are ‘missing” badly, just like  your car, and their Success Fuel Line is blocked and “gunked up”.  You do what you think is necessary to Succeed, but yet, it does not go any faster It keeps missing and going slow, and slower and slower.

You know what ‘GUNK’ stands for?

‘Giving Up (and ) Never Knowing (Success).’

Many people give up on ever Succeeding and then pour
their ‘gunk’ into others lives and dreams, slowing down their Success Journey.

Your Vehicle for Success has it’s fuel lines blocked  by the “gunk” of other peoples’ input and opinions, and Doubt. Most people have never decided to Succeed, nor get serious about their business.

They will be more attracted to your offer, as the new set of “Power Boost” ingredients will  be felt and heard, and people are attracted to listen to people who know where they are going and who KNOW THEY WILL GET THERE.

Have you made a “Power Boost” Decision to Succeed in your business,  or have you just made a choice to “try this business?” Decision will act like an  engine cleaner, and will flush out all that has been slowing you down, as your Decision is focused on what YOU decide, not what others are saying cannot be done.

DECIDE TODAY. If you want to truly Succeed in your MLM Home Business, then you need to make a Decision of the Heart, not a choice of the mind.

“I WILL Succeed at my business, because today, I have decided, that I will  not be denied.”

This one statement can radically change how people respond  to you, how people perceive you, and how people follow you. Your Presence  and Tone in your voice will change and become one of strength, not weakness.  This will be Magnetic to prospects. People have a tendency to be attracted to  and  follow people who have Decided to Succeed, not just try something to see what happens.

Where are you with this? Plug your business into the Incredible Power of  Decision and clean out your MLM Success Fuel lines. When you so this, you may  be saying the same words and doing the same presentation, but the prospect will hear a radically different message with a radically different Power that is totally MAGNETIC in MLM Network Marketing Success!

It never fails. Time and time again. Over and Over. Just like clockwork. You can almost predict it.

How many times have we been talking to someone, and they sign up, and we get all excited–and we wait. And we wait. And we wait. And then we wait some more, for them to show any true interest in this business. And then we keep waiting till we get discouraged.

Sound familiar? What went wrong? How did we blow it? We spent all that time to recruit them and they don’t do SQUAT! What happened?

INFERNO Secret:

Sometimes we are more interested in recruiting someone than actually qualifying them to see if they really have a chance of success in MLM. Have you ever done that?

INFERNO Secret:

You cannot PUSH a ROPE. “That dog ain’t gonna hunt” is a saying we have here in Dallas. Some “dogs” simply never get off the porch when it comes to taking action in their life!

So what do you do? How can you at least maximize your odds for finding the people who will be “More Likely” to be serious about this MLM business than not? Good Question!

I had the honor of being in the Financial Services industry before I discovered network marketing, and was blessed with being the only person in the history of the agency (92 years) to ever win a fast start award that the company had. I worked hard, and many long hours. But was shown an amazing secret to defining the right prospects that made a HUGE difference in my success. (Financial Service reps are GREAT prospects for this business!)

But a multi-million dollar earner in investments gave me what we call the “7 Star Formula” that defined who was more likely to do business with you than not, and I stuck to it and it worked.
I brought it into the MLM business with me and lo and behold it worked great! And I have also seen it in other places in the industry, so I know it has gotten some play in the marketplace. I cannot remember who authored it, but it’s HOT!

Here it is:

The “7 Secret Formula ” is the 7 key Traits for the best Potential MLM Prospects you look for in a prospect. It can tell you a lot of how this person will work this business.

INFERNO Secret:

There is NO sure fire formula for this, as the secret to success in this business lies within the HEART. But it will help save you a lot of time that you might have wasted with the “Not Likely” people.

When you are recruiting folks look for these 7 things–and each one is worth 1 star:

1) 25 years or older.

2) Married.

3) Has a child.

4) Has a fulltime job.

5) Has a Bank Account.

6) Owns a Home.

7) Can afford to invest a little money in their business.

OK–Why these particular 7 things? Because they show 3 things:

1) Solidity in their life

2) Obligation to the future

3) Strong Reasons to do better in Life

INFERNO Secret:

You are looking for the 5’s, 6’s, and 7’s. But if they are talking to a 2 or a 3, well, that is your call, as there are broke people who have come into this industry and done amazing things. But they are the exception. Odds are they won’t do a whole lot in Network Marketing.

If someone is 25 or older, it has been proven that they have taken MLM more seriously as a future. Yes, I know there are exceptions, and the Gen X folks are doing this business, but they are around 25 and up anyway.

If they are married, have kids, are working, own a home, and have a bank account, it shows they are MATURE enough to do this MLM business and RESPONSIBLE. These are KEY traits to succesful folks in a home business.

Rate each prospect you have with this formula and work first with the ones who are 5-6-7 on the scale, and then call the others. You must call all the folks you know, as they will at least be willing to help you in some way. But understand–there are Potential STARS on your list. You now know how to Define the “More Likely” that will be really serious about this business. Plus you now know who will be “Less likely” to be interested as well.

Your names you have on your list is your inventory, and you build your equity in your group with those names. Make sure you choose the inventory “More Likely” to build equity and success in your group, instead of ending up with total frustration and discouragement — in MLM Prospecting.
