Just like the kind that the Special Ops Commandos use in their operations. If they get shot at,the armor reflects or stops the bullet, and they live. You need that kind of armor in MLM, and you need to become 10 Feet Tall and Bulletproof in MLM Prospecting!

Great! But how do you do that?

Easy. It all deals with reflecting the bullets of rejection from your mlm prospects, and doing it handily. That is something that anyone can do, and anyone can succeed at, as reflecting "rejection bullets" is handled by what we call a "Third Party Recruiter."

What is that?

It simply is a recruiting tool, CD, DVD, or Brochure, or website/webcast, or any other tool that you can use to tell the story of the MLM Network Marketing Company you enrolled in.

All you do, is ask them if they have a few minutes, as you would like to share an idea with them, that has really helped your life.

For example:

"Do you have a cd player in your car?"

"Yeah sure."

"Could you please do me a favor, and put this in and listen to it as you drive home?" It is that simple.

All you are doing with these recruiting tools are "sifting and sorting" as they call it, mlm prospects. I call it "Rating and Separating." You simply are rating the ones who show an interest as High, and the rest you are separating into a group for possible product purchases. Again, it is that simple.

And when you have given them a CD or DVD, and it has been a day or so, call them, and ask, "What was your favorite part about the DVD?" or "What did you like the best about the CD?" Assume they have listened to it, and focus them on what they liked best.

If they did not like it, you did not have to do a presentation, or go through the whole scenario of your mlm company. You saved a lot of time using a recruiting tool. And they did not reject you, but simply did not embrace the message that the tool shared with them.

It is called "Rejection Proof" Prospecting and Recruiting! And it can make you feel 10 Feet Tall and Bulletproof because they did not tell you NO, but told you that the CD message was not for them.

But wait! It gets better!

You can fail 80%-90% of the time and still create a solid business with MLM prospecting tools! And you would be 10 Feet Tall and Spitting Bullets then! How would that happen?

It all deals with understanding the numbers in Network Marketing Success.

It revolves around sharing a recruiting CD/DVD/Brochure, 2 times a day with someone new. That is all. Just twice a day. We call it the "Two A Day" Formula, and lets say that you have 5 people in your group that is willing to hand out 2 CDs a day. Here is what has proven to happen:

5 people x 2 exposures a day= 10 EXPOSURES a day.

10 exposures a day x 30 days= 300 exposures a month.

300 exposures monthly x 12 months= 3600 EXPOSURES a year.

That would yield for the year about:

720 new customers (2 out of 10 prospects purchasing- 20%- 20% of 3600 = 720.)

180 new distributors (5 out of 100 prospects enrolling in your company- 5%- 5% of 3600 = 180.)

1440 referrals (2 referrals from the 720 new customers on average. You will average selling 3 out of 10 referrals.)

What would happen to your business if THIS HAPPENED? KABOOOOOM!

You would become 10 Feet tall, and Chewing Bullets for Gum! 720 NEW CUSTOMERS! 180 NEW DISTRIBUTORS! 1440 REFERRALS! And that is with a 80% FAILURE RATE!

And all you do, is hand out 2 mlm prospecting tools a day. Thats it, and let the numbers do their work.

What are some of the Success Secrets of working MLM leads?

1) Make sure you know who you are looking for.

What kind of person are YOU looking for? You need to make sure that the MLM lead knows that you are looking for a particular type of person, and that you would like to see if they qualify.

The 5 traits in their personality you always look for are:

Ambitious.Friendly.

Positive.

Leader.

Good communicator.

Let them know that those are the traits you are looking for, and the traits that have proven to be needed for Success in Network Marketing.

nbsp;"Who I am looking for is someone that is ambitous, good Leadership, and good communicator who loves people- does that sound like you?"

nbsp;Also, a good track record of Success helps as well.

2) Always give them an Exit Strategy.

Make sure that you let them know they are free to end the call anytime they choose. There are many ways to do this, but my favorite way is the FEEL FREE tactic we teach at Network Marketing Training Institute.

People will perceive with an Exit Strategy that there is NO pressure and that you are not trying to do anything except hold a conversation with them.

Simply say, "And feel free anytime during our conversation to end this call if you feel that this is something that simply is not right for you. Does that sound fair enough?"

3) Keep the topic, focus, and conversation -nbsp;about them.

Ask, ask and ask more questions about the MLM lead.

They want to see if you are interested in THEM, not just recruiting them. Ask about their family, where they live, the type of work they do, what they like to do in their spare time, what kind of spare time they have, what kind of money they are looking for out of a home business, why they are looking at a home business, and what kind of Success are they expecting if they start a home business.

"Tell me about yourself" is the ULTIMATE Cold Market MLM Lead opening phrase that can be magnetic in MLM Cold Market recruiting.

4) Your first priority is to RELAX the prospect, then CONNECT to them.

You MUST Relax the MLM Lead if you are going to be on the phone with them and hold a conversation with them. How do you do that? Get them talking about themselves, and you MUST come across as totally relaxed and in control as well.

Then find some things you have in common with the MLM lead, and connect with them on those things. It could be knowing someone in their city or state, same hobby, same type of family, same school attended, same industry you work in, etc.

Find something to CONNECT with them, and it will be easier for them to connect to you.

5) Let them know that you only need 1 minute of their time.

We found that if you simply say, "I really only need 1 minute of your time, as I am not sure this is something that would be right for you or not," that will open them up much more to listen, and you will find that most people will appreciate the respect you just showed for their time.

Many people are kept on the phone for 15, 20, 30 minutes at a time. Don't do that. Set yourself apart from the crowd. Give them a timeline, and stick to it.

If they find that you have something they might be interested in, you will know it. Say, "Is this making sense to you?" They will let you know if it is.

Most folks in Network Marketing REACT to what prospects say, not respond, and become defensive with a negative focus and words. And that is a problem many times in responding to what was actually said. And actually what you say back to them, is MORE important many times to your Success, than anything else said. What you say back to them paints a picture, and speaks volumes of who you are.

What would be the "Sounds of MLM Success" when you respond to what people say-especially negative people?

Here a a few examples:

1) "I understand."

These two words carry a lot of weight when someone is not on the same page as you with this industry, anti aging, weight loss, skin care, internet shopping, legal services, nutrition, or whatever it is. Do not argue. Take the high road, and say "I understand", and then move forward in letting them know that you appreciate their view, and ask. "Have you ever considered this...?"

2) "Tell me about what happened."

Many times people may have had a bad experience with this industry, or people in it, and as a Network Marketer, you may want to let them vent and tell you what happened. And after the ranting and raving, say "I am glad you shared that with me. I would not want to be a part of anything like that either. That is why I am so thankful I found my company. Did you know...?"

3) ""I know how you feel."

Let them know that if they have a problem with our industry, you would feel the same too. But what you discovered with your company totally changed your view on everything, because of the products, integrity, and future, and maybe they would feel differently if they found out that this industry does work, especially with your products and company. "I am not sure this is for you or not, but I would like to show you a company that does it right."

4) "I agree with you."

Agreement is a great neutralizer, and it makes the person feel understood. If they think weight loss products don't work, "I agree with you as most don't, and if you ever look for one or know someone who may want one, make sure it has a track record of success like my company does."

"I agree with you as the anti aging /nutrition/ skin care/legal services/weight loss industry does have products that totally do not work and should not be sold. But there are some that do work, and all I can tell you is what I know, and as for my company, it is amazing. Their products work like nothing I have ever experienced in helping people lead better lives."

5) "What if this would work for you?"

"What if the products worked, how would that change your perception ? What if the business worked? How would that change your lifestyle? We know it works, as people have proven that. What if it honestly worked for you?'"

6)" What is your plan to live the life you truly want to live? Tell me about it."

"Tell me about it. I would love to hear as Success plans do truly excite me. Oh? You do not have one? Who sold you on not having one? Would you like some viable options to consider?"

7) "'You can do anything you want. This could be a life changing conversation for you if you let it."

"I believe in you. And even if you do not believe in yourself, lean on my belief until we build yours, as we build a future and incredible lifestyle together. How does that sound?"

Success usually comes from RESPONDING in an optimistic way to what people say, whether positive or negative. NEVER play verbal judo. Be sure that you ALWAYS respond in a manner that is:

1) ENCOURAGING

2) EMPOWERING

3) EMBRACING

And not react in a negative and defensive manner, which is the Sound --

You must decide that what emotions would keep you down for 3 hours, will keep you down for 3 minutes. What used to keep you down for a week, will keep you down for a day. What used to keep you down for a month, only keeps you down for a week or less. Focus on becoming "emotionally quick." Every emotion that is negative quickly disappears from your life, and is replaced with a positive one.

How do you control your lows that will come in this business?

1) Talk to Your Upline about how they handled the negative emotions.

2) Read MLM books and continue to learn new ideas and concepts.

3) Ask ldquo;What is worth learning from this?rdquo;

4) Know that WHO is SUPPOSED to be in your business -- will be.

Too many times in MLM, Leaders are blindsided by something that most Leaders are not even aware of, or at least not focused on it. And if they were, the "Creeping Cancer" could be at least diagnosed, and dealt with on an emergency basis.

As a Leader, or an Aspiring Leader in Network Marketing, you will build an organization, and many times will shake your head at people quitting, walking away, for no apparent reason.

And most of the time, it is caused by one thing, and it truly is a 'Creeping Cancer" in your business and the Industry as a whole, as well as Life itself.

What is that Cancer?

The Cancer that Eats Away at MLM Success:
Compromise.
And what are the Two Golden Words in MLM Success?

NO COMPROMISE.

Simply, you, as a Leader, must promote and enroll your folks in a No Compromise Vision. How does this happen?

Well, it starts with a Lack of awareness that this can and will happen, and if it is not focused on and handled, will grow as a part of how most mediocre people live their lives.

Little by little, inch by inch, a little compromise here, a little compromise there, lowering their standards and expectations for success. That is how this home business in network marketing becomes a low priority with folks after a while.

It's called "The Rust Factor."

Just as a new piece of steel if left to the elements will rust, so does your Vision and dreams if left to the "Elements of Compromise." The "Rain of Doubt, " The "Wind of Frustration, " The "Hail of Negatives," The "Storm of Adversity, " and the "Heat of Anger."

You know what the word "RUST" stands for?

RUST.....Regressing Under Someone-else's Thinking.

Do you do that?

Lower and regress you dreams under someone else's Little thinking and "advice"? DON"T!

How does this happen with the new distributor?

1. The new distributor sets high goals, and starts their business, but after a little while with little results, they lower their dreams, and compromise their success, and life, and future, and expectations.

2. The new distributor starts their business, and as they start contacting their warm market, the people they hold in high regard are negative to them, and want to "Bring them down to earth."

And to "reality," and due to their Influence, the new distributor compromises His/Her success by lowering or abandoning their dreams, to please their friends, to "Fit in" and not rock the "Boat of Acceptance."

3. After a while, the new MLM distributor gets to know some "Veteran Distributors, " and these folks "Tell it the way it is." And they whine and complain to the new distributor, and the newbie starts to lower their dreams and goals to "Fall in line" with what is "real" in a home business MLM, compromising their life and dreams again.

What if Abraham Lincoln had compromised His Standards?

What if Thomas Jefferson had Compromised His Standards?

What if Mother Teresa had compromised Her standards?

Greatness in ANY Leadership endeavor starts with a NO COMPROMISE Mindset and "Heartset" as well.

Let me see -- I bet I can describe it. I went through it, and fortunately now teach how to conquer it for MLM and Network Marketing.

2) You get anxious and start dreading the call.

3) You actually start sweating and heart pounds.

4) You begin to think of other things you need to do.

5) You decide to go do them.

Sound familiar?

That is what I used to do constantly until one day we realized some things that made a HUGE difference in our phone calls in network marketing. When the "light went on" and we actually understood the Psychology of the telephone, it made all the difference in the world.

On the telephone in mlm, your job really is to do one thing:

Separate.

Your job is to talk to people and separate people into 2 groups:

1) People that are OPEN to new ideas.

2) People that are not open to new ideas.

And the ones that are not open to new ideas right now, are simply people you put in your 'later' file. You are a messenger, and every phone call is simply a delivery vehicle. Either way, you have been successful at separating the people you talk to in network marketing.

And combine that with these next three realizations, you will find some relief with Phone Phobia.

Here are the 3 realizations we had about the telephone in network marketing and what the REALITY is, versus what we think we are doing.

1) ALL a phone call is, is a CONVERSATION.

That is it. It is simply a conversation that you have done a thousand times before. And the secret to getting past the phone phobia in MLM is to have NO agenda for the call except to hold a conversation with the person and see if they are open to a new idea.

That is it. You want to talk to them and see if they are open to a new idea that would help them. If they are not open, then talk about them. If they are open, then ask some questions about what they are looking to happen in their life and what they would like to improve. Have no agenda, except to help people, and if you can great. If you cannot, great. You have still held a conversation that went well.

2) Understand that all phone phobia is based on the fear of the wrong results.

If you knew you would get all yeses, then you would call people 24/7. But you know that you will not, so you get scared.

How about changing your paradigm?

How about looking at the phone call NOT from a results standpoint, but a PRACTICE standpoint, and you are calling people to practice and get better, and sharpen your skills? Results are partly a fruit of a good skill set and why not get better at it while you work?

You are NOT in charge of results. You are only in charge of getting better at the phone which will improve your results dramatically.

Are you in the market currently for a $400,000 Bentley? No? If a friend of yours who is marketing them calls you and tells you about them, have they done something wrong? Just because they do not sell you one, should they quit selling them? Of course not. You simply were not in the market right now for one.

It is the same thing with Network marketing. Some people simply will not be in the market for what you are marketing.

Do not worry about results. They will come. Worry about getting better, and getting an expertise innbsp;using the telephone that you can train your downline with.

3) Realize that Phone Phobia is also an opinion. A wrong one.

You are calling to hold a conversation with someone to HELP THEM, not sell them or recruit them. Many people look at using the telephone in network marketing as "bothering my friends." That is an opinion in error. How can you bother friends when you calling to see if you can help them?

1) You MUST INSPIRE, not just Motivate.



The greek definition for INSPIRE is ldquo;breath within.rdquo; This means that you must create within the person the ldquo;breathrdquo; of confidence and energy that they can connect to and embrace.

How?

Modeling.

You must be the role model and guide to show your mlm folks that you are worthy of following, and are a leader. Do what you ask them to do, and do it BIG. Show them that you believe in what you are saying, and you do it daily in MLM.

And through your actions and words, let them ldquo;breatherdquo; that Leadership into their hearts, and keep them inspired and wanting to follow you into a greater life of Success in MLM.

2) You MUST Praise, not just Promote.

Praise is the secret weapon to motivating people. Many times, we will promote and recognize the new folks who went up a pin level, and that is important. But praising someone for a valiant effort that may have had little results will motivate many times 10 times more.

Why?

People will always appreciate being appreciated for the effort, not just the result. Motivation must have a foundation of praise and recognition. If you have that foundation and praise and recognize your people for their efforts as well as results, you will find that there will be more pin levels to celebrate.

3) You MUST pour into them what has been ignored about them.

Most people never get much of any encouragement. That is our job in MLM. We must encourage those who not only need it, but all who are on your team. There is nothing more motivating than the right word at the right time. A word of belief, or a word of ldquo;I am there with yourdquo; can go a long way in keeping people onFIRE.

You must pour into your team Big Thinking, Big Belief, Big Vision, Big Future, Big Life. You must constantly say the 4 most powerful words in network marketing: ldquo;I believe in you.rdquo;

If you pour into the person what has been ignored most of their life, they will follow you wherever you go, for the rest of their life. They will become lsquo;addictedrdquo; to your encouragement and the promise of hope that they feel from you.

4) You MUST introduce new Success ideas and Bigger Possibilities into their heart.

New ideas that enlarge a person are worth their weight in gold in MLM. Have you ever seen someone get ignited when they had an ldquo;ahardquo; moment? You need to become the ldquo;aha masterrdquo; and continually introduce new Success and possibilities into their life. Most jobs and family cultures are limited and shrink most peoplersquo;s dreams. Enlarge your teamsrsquo; dreams.

The Million Dollar question:

WHY ARE YOU THINKING SO SMALL?

Ramp your team up with some Success ideas that will expand and enlarge their brains beyond where they have ever been! Suggest Success books to read and CDs to listen to, and take them to empowerment seminars. Get them around millionaires in your upline if you have any. Get them thinking HUGE.

5) You MUST give personal time and attention to those who deserve it -- not need it

Nothing motivates more than personal attention in Network Marketing. Focusing in on one person for a time, maybe over lunch or coffee, and pouring into them individually. Personal encouragement is a great way to give personal attention to folks.

Find out what is meaningful to them. Find out what they TRULY want in life, and listen to why. Discover what is important in life to them and why. Ask what they want to change more than anything about their life. Ask about family, kids, faith, hobbies, interests, etc.

Find out WHO THEY ARE.

What Are People Feeling in Your MLM Prospecting?

In MLM Prospecting, many people today hold a lot of conversations and believe that they are keeping the attention of the prospect. They believe that the prospect is enthralled with their conversation.

That is wrong in many cases.

The prospect is not that interested in what YOU want to sell them or get them to do. They are more interested in what they are FEELING FROM YOU as a person and distributor. Emotions determine much of the Success in MLM, and you need to make sure that they are feeling the right intentions and focus from you in your prospecting.





A prospect is considering buying your product or maybe joining your company. This is a good thing. But the challenge is that they may be feeling something from you that is turning them off.

Like what?

1) A Selfish Focus.

This will turn most people off in mlm prospecting, because the secret to powerful network marketing prospecting is NOT what you get out of it, but what the prospect can get out of it that you bring to the table, with your focus being soley what benefits them.

Would you be willing to talk to a prospect if you knew that you probably would not want to join you, but you knew that you could help them in some small way?

If you answered that "yes," then you are well on your way to powerful and passionate mlm prospecting.

2) Pressure of any Kind.

Pressure will trun people away quicker than anything. Why? It reaks of desperation. Desperate people are not only hard to follow, but hard to do business with as well.

"I am not sure this is for you, but let's explore some options that may reveal if it is or not..." is a powerful way to take off the pressure and put on the professionalism so missing in this industry.

3) Big Promises.

"Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! Come to the Big tent and see how you can get rich in 12 minutes! And see the 3 headed horse as well!"

That is what Network Marketers sound like many times, when they are prospecting.

They look and sound like clowns.

Here is a tip:

Do NOT make any promises, but only assurances that you will be there with them, and be there for them to help them in any way.

Promises that seem too good to be true generally are. You want to be known for your down to earth reality, not let's hype them up fantasy.

Do NOT sound like a barker at a circus. Even in your focus or actions. It will not work in your prospecting efforts.

Let the clowns stay with the circus.

What is your prospect feeling from you?

Let's make sure it is a MAGNETISM that pulls people TOWARDS you, not pushes them away from you in your MLM and Network Marketing Prospecting.
